Once they had my deposit and I’d moved in I contacted Pendley with some problems, but was ignored.
It took 6 weeks and 5 emails And an in-person visit to the office just to get a response. When they did finally respond I was told my emails went to junk, even though they managed to receive emails from me before I moved in, when they wanted the deposit to be paid.
I live in a block of flats with many properties managed by Pendley and others here also have stories like this.
It took 3 months to rectify the issues; exposed electrical wiring, and provision of a parking permit.
UPDATE - after writing this review Pendley asked me to take it down (see photo)
I contacted Pendley on 8 June asking them to fix another problem. They came back with an email on 6 July saying they would “work on the landlord” for me, but also asking me to take the review down. I declined to remove the review as I didn’t feel there had been any improvement.
Someone came round to look at the problem on 13 July, and agreed it needed fixing.
It’s now 18 August and I’ve heard nothing further from Pendley.
I’d hoped that “working on the landlord” would only be conditional on my paying the rent, not my removing the review, but this doesn't appear to be the case.
