2nd Dec 2022 (1 year ago)Sandy Gorton handled the renting of the property and was superb from the word 'go'. He had people round, he chased up to see how interested they were and if they weren;t, why not. His communication with me was excellent. I was kept in the loop throughout the process and, quite honestly, he was like a Knight in shining armour. It did not take him long to find us a tenant and we are very grateful for his hard work, perseverance and charm.

21st Oct 2019 (4 years ago)Haart Stopsley were really good even though they were more expensive than other localling agents. My agent Brian at the branch was extremely helpful, making sure he always replied to any queries or questions promptly and efficiently.
11th May 2023 (11 mo. ago)We have recently found a property to rent via Jackson Stops and the service we have received from Simon Roberts has been second to none, Simon is very professional and engaging. From the first meet, to the handling of paperwork, the process has been effortless and stress free, We have both struggled with estate agents in the past and dreaded the whole process, however Simon has been amazing and completely changed our perception, he carried out the whole process from start to finish in a professional, highly knowledgeable manner with nothing ever being too much to ask. Simon had vast knowledgeable on the property we were viewing and knew the local area very well. We thought that all of the marketing from Jackson Stops had been prepared to a very high standard and much better than anything else we had seen produced other agents. We didn’t feel rushed or pressured into making any decisions, we felt we had the perfect amount of time to view the house, think about the property & even go back for a second viewing without the worry of it being snatched away, Simon gave us the reassurance we needed. Every telephone call was answered by the team in the office, every message has been passed on and every phone call has been returned without fail, Simon kept us informed throughout the process answering our questions and queries efficiently and accurately. Would highly recommend Jackson Stops, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Simon Roberts Harley & Paul.

They work so well as a team that everyone is well informed and each of them is equally able to assist with any queries. They work quickly and efficiently on everything they do which resulted in the speedy sale of our property at the right price. What more can I say!?
9th Mar 2024 (8 weeks ago)Tracy and the team worked tirelessly to sell our house in difficult times. Out of the 3 quotes we received, Satchells gave by far the best price and sold it for more than the prices the other 2 agencies proposed to put the house on the market for. They worked quickly and had viewings straight away. They clearly have a fantastic network of buyers. They were brilliant and helped us tackle a number of challenging hurdles. If you want to sell your house, go with Satchells.

27th Sep 2023 (7 mo. ago)First Step used to be the go to agents in the local area, they seemed honest and transparent. From my experience this is a thing of the best with them. There are many agents in the local area now who are much better then First Step, they will look after you and are much more sincere. My advice would be, dont just go with them, give all the others the same opportunity, remember First Step excel in talking the talk, but once your signed in, they dont walk the walk. Think is all I advise anyone.

We met with Connor, Molly and Chris who all helped us through the purchase of our new property. If it wasn’t for them, we would not have managed to exchange and complete so so quickly. They were always really helpful with the hundreds of questions that we had (being first time buyers). Definitely recommend.

16th Sep 2023 (7 mo. ago)Norgans have great knowledge of the Hitchin property market and whilst their valuation was markedly different from the other agents we approached , their valuation proved to be far more realistic . Excellent communication throughout the process despite deteriorating market conditions and a house close to the railway line that put off several viewers
2nd Mar 2019 (5 years ago)As an estate agent they have been really good property sold in two weeks and they helped with everything along the way. They are friendly helpful and offer good advice. I would say though the conveyancing is not worth the extra money nearly £2000 more than most the others and have not done anything spectacular to justify that additional cost.
26th Jun 2021 (2 years ago)If you are selling your house in the Arlesey area, in my opinion, you would be mad not to use Gothic Estates. They not only have the lowest fees they give by far the best service of any estate agent I have ever bought or sold with. I never had to chase them once for information, they were always keeping us up to date throughout the process. I can honestly say if it were not for them chasing solicitors up and down our chain there is either a good chance our chain would have fallen apart or we would have moved many, many, weeks later than we did. From great pragmatic advice to open and honest conversations it has been a pleasure to work with Gothic Estates throughout the process they are an example to the industry and a rare gem.- This agent doesn't have any reviews
