The folks Prime have been great - Adam Carter handled a couple of problems with our flat and got everything sorted for us really quickly.
UNPROFESSIONAL AND VERY POOR SERVICE
Extremely poor service from Complete Ltd: I paid during one year long the full rent of a flat which had a broken window which couldn’t be opened at all, preventing the access to our terrace! While I was promised at the beginning that it would be repaired before I moved in. I had a dozens of exchanges with them, barely any response from them and was finally told that it would be impossible to repair it!
Additionally to that, one of their agents came to introduce the flat to potential new tenants and thought it would be a good idea to open the faulty window! Of course, he couldn’t close it anymore and decided to leave the flat unattended with an opened window: first, anyone could have come in the flat and it was very dangerous; second, they couldn’t sort the situation quickly and I had to endure the cold and wind for two days in the middle of January. No need to say I never had compensation for that.
On top of that, when I exit the flat, I had a professional cleaning service, which I proved and they decided to charge me £60 without any good reasons … I contested it, notable mentioning that I have paid the full price of a flat that was not fully functional but they did not do any gesture.
I will never use Complete Ltd again, would strongly recommend anyone to NOT use them and will make sure to be very vocal about how poorly they manage the service for the flat.
Nick, Helen, Lutfi and all the team were great. The buyer of my house was quite frustratingly slow but they were always clear and let me know the situation. At first I put my flat on the market with a few other agents, which I regretted. The other agents over promised and set up lots of viewings that I tidied up for and then didn't tell me about all the cancellations. Justin Lloyd were great. None of that nonsense. I'd recommend them.
Paid a reservation fee of £300 to reserve a flat, was told it would be taken off the market. Few hours later was told someone else somehow got into the process as well, and the landlord would decide who got the flat. They got it because of paying a one year rent upfront. Very disappointing considering it was supposed to be reserved.
Entwistle Green in Dale Street have truly exceeded my expectations. They are proactive, professional and communicated clearly and effectively.
It’s is clear to anyone who use their services that Gemma Randall(Manger) Hannah, Jamie & Aden have the ability to truly help and guide all types of clients as they have done for me.
It is also important to mention that with their wide scope of offices around Liverpool and their connection internationally. It makes sense to use an agent that offers the full package to all different times of prospective clients.
I drove 3 hours to view an apartment only to hear that they do not have the keys and without even apologising. I have not experienced such an unprofessional letting agent before.
I've been thoroughly impressed with both James and Mike. My situation is quite complex as I was looking to move from London to Manchester over the winter holiday period - which is not ideal as the rental market is very quiet and many letting agencies are on annual leave.
By the time I'd met with James from Belvoir I'd driven from London-Manchester 3 times to view different properties. All the previous properties were not as advertised, or in some cases the letting agency was thoroughly un-professional; with one particular agency who re-arranged a viewing twice and on both occasions only informed me whilst I was driving up to Manchester, even though they knew I did not live locally - moreover, when I did arrive, the agent had picked-up the wrong key so he couldn't show me around!
James on the other-hand could not be more helpful. I arranged a viewing for one property, drove up to Manny, and he showed me around. The place didn't tick all the boxes and James could see that. He listened carefully to my requirements, asked follow-up questions until he understood the type of place I was looking for. As I'm not local to Manchester he took the time to explain the different regions, the rental market, and at no point was he pushy (unlike some letting agents). I feel that he was really sympathetic to my needs. He even arranged a viewing on the same day to see another property - so I wouldn't have to drive up to Manchester again. He said this next property should be ideal.
And, the next property was EXACTLY as he stated! It was in the hip Northern Quarter, walking distance to work, close to all the bars and restaurants, and in immaculate condition. Its easily the best place I've lived in.
My story could have ended here, and I would have been a happy customer and left 4/5 stars (I only reserve 5 stars for exceptional service). But there is more, the property was ideal in all aspects, but it didn't have high-speed broadband. I let James and Mike know as soon as possible, and they were very understanding. James remembered the type of place I was looking for and forwarded properties that met my requirements. The overall process of moving has been quite seamless. Which demonstrates that Belvoir can accommodate unusual requests and pays attention to good customer service.
Yes, letting agencies have a bad reputation! Renting a place is a terrible ordeal! And I doubt there's any letting agency which has a 4 star rating. However, out of all the agencies I've dealt with in Manchester I would say Belvoir is definitely the better one as they took time to consider my situation and I do feel they helped me to the best of their abilities.
Thank you guys!
Unable to sort out basic maintenance issues. Taken over 6 months to get radiators and fridge fixed. DO NOT USE THEM!
Lovely lunch. Excellent service and a really nice atmosphere. Highly recommended
Very disappointing, 20 minutes after ordering two of our six person party were told what they ordered was not available and forced to reorder because there was "no tomatoes" . When ordering a burger medium rare was told "it comes as it comes". Drinks were served several centimeters below the tops of glasses. Burgers arrived burnt, one was sent back on return it arrived in a better state (well done but not incinerated). This was the worse value food I have experience in a long time, avoid as you can get much better for half the price within, at most five minutes walk. If it was not of British social awkwardness we would have left when the food arrived.
