Impossible to contact via phone, they don't even bother replying to your emails, why on Earth would I ever want to rent a property that forces you to email for the likes of repairs, when you can't even reply to someone registering interest? Trash company.... Read more

We have been renting with Homelets for the past 4 years and have received high quality, professional and friendly service throughout. Always really responsive if there have been any issues sending someone out either the same day or a few days after, making sure we never were without what we needed. Maria has been an absolute pleasure to deal with and is a real credit to the company. She has made our time here so enjoyable, we can always count on her to provide us with accurate information and keep us up to date with plenty of notice if anybody has needed to come round. If you want a transparent, fair priced service with reliable and responsive staff, I couldn't name a better letting agency.... Read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! Danielle and Maria - rude, ignorant people, they stole over £1000 deposit off me and kept coming back for more telling me if I don't pay the landlord will take to court just so they can get extra £100 court fees (in which was all a lie as they refused to show proof landlord took it to court)... I have recently moved out of a property with Homelets and sales after 4 and a half years. The initial moving process went really smoothly. Whilst living in my property I did have a lot of maintenance issues that needed fixing but I was in constant contact with Danielle throughout my entire time at my property and she helped with all issues and these got resolved, if at times a little later than expected.
In all very friendly, helpful and reliable.
Danielle I will somewhat miss our emails haha!... Read more

I tell you truly. Homelet is a worse Estate agent in the world. If you want to be robbed all your money then Homelet can be your friend. Their managers are impolite. They have all for landlords and but they don't care of tenants
.
Avoid signing agency fee before signing the tenancy agreement. If Homelet offer this option run away because they will keep your money without letting the property you.
Avoid merely this agency if you don't want to have issues after.
I was right on everything when I signed and paid the cash agency fee £200 and the deposit £700 and normally I was supposed to move in a week later. They made me waste my time (3weeks) and money before making me to meet the landlord in his house to be heard from him that he would not let me move in the house because he didn't see and have the contract from Homelet before meeting me.
They checked my references and everything was fine. But they refused to rent to me the house and to give my agency fee because of the landlord and I was homeless the day after with my children.
Again avoid this agency... Read more

Firstly It is my opinion and my right to review this company negatively.Secondly I have not removed any review! And thirdly I have not given consent for you to print names in your pitiful responses so due to data protection once again I ask you to remove my name. I rented a house off this Homelets for a year and had the worst year! They refused to replace a broken boiler for 5 weeks, after week 5 an independent gas engineer confirmed the boiler had been leaking carbon monoxide! Prior to this and their unwillingness to replace it we were left without hot water/heating for several days! The maximum length of time legally is 24 hours! NOT 5 DAYS! they refused to pass me the contact details of the landlord too (unknown why?!) this saga went on for 5 weeks until carbon monoxide revelation forced them to act! When I complained about all this (and other issues) I was told by manager to “find somewhere else to live”! Yes correct that is what the manager of Homelets told me for simply complaining about no boiler! I reminded him I had signed a 12 month contract and indeed I had not broken any tenancy agreement terms and conditions (unlike Homelets!) The secretary Maria Binks also passed a complaint we had to the contractors which led to an angry workman attending the house not happy about my complaint! How very unprofessional?! All in all we are so thankful and lucky to have escaped from this company and luckily we didn’t die of carbon monoxide poisoning. ALSO ensure this company has actually registered the house with the council to legally let it out! They hadn’t with our one! hopefully a hefty fine is looming for this illegal act. Also if you read the below post from Danielle Hall you will see she has given positive feedback however if you go onto Homelets website you will see this same person actually works for Homelets (secretary) so clearly a conflict of interest and clearly only trying to counteract the true negative feedbacks from genuine ex tenants, a typical style trick from this shoddy company.
Many thanks for reading this review and I’m sure it will be useful and hopefully gives unsuspecting decent people the knowledge to form their own opinion and decision if thinking about letting a property from these people.
NOW the important bit! People (honest/decent/unsuspecting tenants reading this review) please look at Maria Binks’ response to my review below!!!! I will re-respond with the facts and truth!.......Maria,
1) your first mistake is publicly revealing/ admitting that that you DID leave a family with no hot water/heating for 5 days! You admitted that by admitting you refunded 5 days rent! The refund is of no consequence! LEGALLY you cannot leave a family with no hot/water heating for more than 24 hours! Do you not know the law?! clearly not as.....
2) you DID NOT even register the property with Liverpool City council in order to legally let the property in the first place! (As mentioned earlier hopefully a hefty fine is awaiting you for this illegal act!)
3) AGAIN I reiterate, we did not live happily after the boiler was replaced, we lived in fear due to the threat of eviction that your husband Alan Binks made to me during a phone call! Is he denying saying this??!! You’re either defending him or you’re simply not aware of it but ask him to be honest and admit he said it! Sadly I actually think you’re not even aware of what he said!
4) YES the boiler WAS LEAKING CARBON MONOXIDE!!! You know this because this was the final catalyst which MADE you replace the boiler because the engineer condemned it and taped it off!!!!!! Stop lying!!!!
5) you say you did not know the fire had been condemned prior to us moving in! Why didn’t you know? You’re managing the property so why didn’t you know?! Is that not your duty to know this?!
6) You forwarded a confidential email i’d sent you to sub-contractors! Unprofessional(as are your continual responses to my review) as opposed to accepting my opinion, you look very unprofessional with this online arguing! My review is my opinion, accept and move on and strive to be better.... Read more
