Sky high rent costs. Ask for 6 weeks worth as a deposit, inept at communicating with you, hidden charges all over the place, slow to respond to any repair requests. 2 of the 3 bathrooms in our house were broken for most of the tenancy. Took 6 weeks to return the deposit, upwards of 50 emails back and forth, and only after the threat of legal action - excuses being they can only return by cheque (it's 2018) and they didn't have a chequebook!... I wanted to update my review as the tenancy has now ended. The 9 month tenancy went smoothly, any maintenance issues were dealt with promptly, inspections were arranged with at least 24hrs notice and at the end of the tenancy the check out was efficient. The deposit was refunded in full. Would not hesitate to recommend this agency. From the first phone call to book a viewing of a rental property the team at Fine and Country could not have been more helpful. They arranged a viewing the same day, the tenancy was confirmed with all references completed within 24 hours and my son had moved in within 5 days of viewing the property. They made the whole process easy and were incredibly efficient. Charles and Tracey have been fantastic. We have had a couple of minor maintenance issues in the first week and Fine and Country Fulham immediately arranged for the maintenance team to rectify these all within 24-48 hours, again outstanding customer service and efficiency. We highly recommend this agency, our experience has been excellent as tenants and any landlord who uses this agency to manage their property can be reassured they do an excellent job. Experience with other London Letting agents has been extremely poor, therefore it is extremely reassuring to be renting through an agency that is so efficient and responsive. Con Artists! Stay away! Please don't go near these awful agents that we had the great misfortune of renting from. They treat there tenants like dirt. They are extraordinarily incompetent and lied to us from the start. They sent people round to let themselves in our door when ever they liked with no notice what so ever. They are money hungry and the Director of the company in particular, is an agressive lying bully. They totaly fleesed us on our deposit even though we left the place spotless! The used to trade as 'Albert Hall Estate' (check there reviews elsewhere to see what I mean) but presumably joined up with 'Fine & Country' to escape their appalling reputation. Same dreadful people trading under a new name. Stay well away! I wish we had been warned! :/... Read more

I have rented a one bed-room flat (c. 15 m2) for 3 months with Fine & Country Fulham (shared bathroom, shared kitchen). I have had a really bad experience with them: - Of course I have conscientiously cleaned my room befor the check out. Despite that, they charged £180 of "professional" cleaning at the end of my tenancy (very expensive for a 15m2 room!). - They charged additional fees of £80 for the check out. - They requested to do a lot of viewings of my flat during the 2 last months (2 or 3 per week), sometimes leaving the door opened after the viewing... - They have lost their set of keys and requested my own keys (during 2 days!) to cut a new set for themselves. ...
