The Altavon agency robs depositors. She robbed us and didn't return the deposit for over two years. This agency is a scam, I don't know what to do now. The owner of the house we live in doesn't even want to talk to us about it. He changed the Agency to another, promising that our deposit will be sent within seven days to the new agency. Of course, he deceived us, he didn't tell us that the "Alatvon" agency was a fraud, I don't know why he didn't. I renovated the apartment on my own with the consent of the owner. The apartment was in terrible condition, dirty, the bathroom was damaged, the floors were damaged, the refrigerator had dirt and bugs. There was no gas charging card or power key, no gas and smoke detectors. They only installed gas and smoke detectors after three years. Now, after renovation and wallpapering, the apartment looks a little better. The garden was in terrible condition. The fence broke and fell over. I fixed it all for free. Now the owner wants to get rid of us. I do not recommend these people, they are thieves.... Read more

Horrible estate agent in my life.i took property from altavon nd pay my diposit.i pay my rent on time but they not pay rent to lanlord.so landlord finally decided took back property from them nd give me notice but altavon told me I need to keep pay my rent which i did.finaly lanlord took me court (tenant)I ask them to return my diposit now they change story .i keep calling them no one answer me nd i email them it's the same for nearly 2 week. Finaly i contact with them they said they have dispute with landlord nd they not return my diposit until every think shorted(not paying money to landlord its them strict) I request to all people they are don't care about people nd they don't know what they doing with people.i wait for few week then I apply for froud case with them.its not fare with people special with children.... Do not use this agency! they do not pass on the rent from the tenant. My tenant showed me his accounts, that he has paid the rent to Altavon, but Altavon have not paid me the money. They have stolen 2 months worth of rent plus the tenants deposit plus they didn't tell us that they collected extra rent from the tenant to adjust the start date of the tenancy agreement. We waited and waited and tried to give them time to pay, they told us they will pay us in another month, but that never happened. They also have not deposited the tenant's deposit in a government scheme, so they have broken the law again, and have stolen the tenants deposit too. When I terminated my management contract with them, and told them that I will be taking over the management myself, they threatened the tenant and said if the tenant pays me direct then they will not give the deposit back to the tenant! This is wrong and against the law as it is not the for the agent to decide if they give the deposit back or not, the deposit is held on behalf of the landlord. So, poor tenant not knowing, paid the rent to Altavon even though I tried to explain that this agent is not trustworthy, and it's likely they will not give deposit back to you anyway. And this is exactly what happened. They never gave the deposit back. Altavon also threatened me and said , they would have given me the rent if I cancel the termination, they told me that i should let them keep managing the property! The director would not answer any calls or emails. all correspondence was through one of his workers. in the end I said, OK I will consider cancelling the termination if they pay all the money back to me and provide evidence which scheme the deposit is held in. the director said, he can pay me in one month. he never did pay me. Stay away from this agent. if you are a landlord and have had a good experience, it is probably because he has stolen money from others to give to you. If you are a tenant then he will do his best to do a good service to you because he is taking your money and keeping it for himself. This review is 100% true and I can evidence everything I have written - we are going through third party to try to recover our money's .... Read more

I’m absolutely appalled by the way I’ve been treated by what I can describe them to be as a bunch of lowlife crooks! They hold onto tenants deposit/rent money. Delays & even Refuses to pay. Unresponsive. Rejects phone calls/emails. Absolutely appalling behaviour. Never been so outraged, frustrated & stressed. I hope they get what’s coming to them!... Read more

This company is unreal! I would recommend to stay away from them as much as you can. They provide cheap rooms and rentals so don't expect quality service. Also, forget about getting back your deposit.... Read more
