Our main contact was Harry Prynn; he was professional, friendly and handled our queries promptly and efficiently. We also dealt with other members of Knight Frank who were approachable and helpful. We would recommend them.
Despite requests not to do so, Knight Frank staff continued parking on our private driveway, thereby blocking access to properties on our estate. Such “me first” behaviour is in stark contrast to the considerate manners of the people who live here. We ended up notifying the police about harassment and some Knight Frank staff have been permanently excluded.
Cached web pages show that the property Knight Frank manages was advertised to let for nearly 5 months, in which time the rate was dropped until finally it was advertised as under offer. The new tenants must be delighted with Knight Frank, at having bagged a bargain. At the same time, new tenants moved into an identical property just over 2 weeks after it was put on the market by another agent at more than 8% above the rate last advertised by Knight Frank. Another identical property has just been let in less than 3 weeks. What does all this say about Knight Frank’s marketing capability?
A month ago we had to ask the owner of the property to pay the annual maintenance charge, as Knight Frank had not done so.
We deal with 3 other agents in Beaconsfield; in our view they are head, shoulders and knees above Knight Frank.
Kate in the Amersham branch is an asset to Chancellors. Although I didn't buy from Chancellors she treated me well and made me feel valued as a customer. She was always available and tried to find me a property that she think I would like rather than just take me anywhere. I would recommend, thanks Kate!
The only positive experience I had when I dealt with Chancellors was with Helen she was very professional. Unfortunately she forgot to mention that she would not be personally dealing with the sale of our property. This was passed to another member of staff called Kate. Kate was a pleasant enough person but it soon became apparent that she didn’t come across as very confident in selling houses. She kept on asking me the same questions so this of course put doubt in my head with regards to her ability. After being told that they vet all their clients viewing properties we had two/three failed viewings - the clients didn’t turn up and no explanation was provided by Chancellors. Also there were two failed sales, first one, the couple put in an offer then two days later withdrew this offer but no explanation was given. With regards to the second one, the proceedings went as far as exchange at which point the buyer pulled out because they were wrongly informed of information about the property by Kate at the point of viewing. The buyer then tried to get his money reimbursed from us with regards to his surveyors report because of confidential information that he had received from Chancellors, I can only presume from Kate. However this information was not signed by me so Kate & Chancellors had produced information about my property that was incorrect & then tried to say that I had agreed to this. My Solicitors soon pointed this out to the buyer. Also the dealings I had with Chancellors head Office was the worst customer service that I have had by any company/person in about 20years. Anyway I left Chancellors after this incident (5 months in) and went with a local high street agent. The experience I had with the local high street agent was so much different .... it was excellent customer service .... within 24hrs of my property being up for sale, viewings were booked and it was sold within four days!
My advice, don’t deal with Chancellors, take your business elsewhere, you won’t regret it.

We had 1 viewing only with Hamptons International which I carried out myself as they were not open on Sunday. The office blamed market conditions and the appearance of our house for not getting offers. We then had the photography re-done several times to try and make it more saleable. We were also told to lower the price considerably in line with other houses for sale in the area by 10% or so. They didn't provide a weekly update like some estate agents do. I had to chase for feedback. I had too much communication on the buying side from their other offices which was stressful and unpleasant and the homes suggested were over-priced and over-budget. It seemed we were made to feel we were at fault because our home didn't sell.
This is a very professional company. Without their work we would have struggled to get the whole move process completed. They chased solicitors, estate agents and the people buying our house. We had thought of going with Purple Bricks and are so pleased we didn't, you don't get personal service like this from an internet based company.
I'd used this company before some years ago and been very happy so when it was time to move on i called them to value my house. Not only was the person nearly 30 mins late for the appointment he offered no real apology or show concern that he was late. I think he was the manager so i would have expected more. After the visit i never heard from them again and decided to go elsewhere. For such a well known company i was surprised with this level of service

Everyone at Keegan White Estate Agents Hazlemere were simply great in every way. They couldn't have been nicer people or more helpful or done any more to keep us in touch with how things were going day to day. We were in a chain and they chased up the other Estate Agents regularly to see if there was anything more they could possibly do to make things go faster or to help in any other way. I would certainly recommend them to anyone who wanted to move house, I really don't think they could do better.
Restored my faith in agents, within a week of Chancellors taking on our property we have had fab new tenants secured and they are moving in this weekend. Thank you to all the ladies on the letting team!
Do not use this company. They have no idea about customer service or communication. They do not get back to your emails & they don't even phone back buyers who want to make offers on your property. And they lose your property keys!!! They want to do as little work as possible to sell your property. Absolute cowboys!
