I moved out from the flat on 22 Jan. And I called gavel about my deposit in mid Feb. He said the money would definitely be with me at the end of Feb. However, now it is mid March, I received nothing. Gavel used to be very nice and helpful. However, during this period, I called Gavel countless times, and sent messages, he didn't reply at all. I also sent email to Lana, she also didn't reply. Also, they didn't use the TDP scheme.... Read more

DO NOT USE Asserta Properties...the director of Asserta Properties a Ms Lana is a con artist! She will hold onto your deposit even though you may have moved out for months on end, with no apparent reason for doing so other than her excuse of cash flow problems. She pretends to act for clients when she is the leaseholder in most cases and each month the rent is going into her personal account. Furthermore, she does not put the deposit in a depository scheme either so she's BREAKING THE LAW! Please be warned Lana may appear to be nice, but when the property requires work she is no where to be seen, and more importantly when you require your deposit back she tries to disappear off the face of the earth.... I cannot praise more the quality of service I have received from Gawel and Lana, Asserta's Director. They were listening to what my expectaions are and simply delivered against these. Gawel picked up my calls swiftly, responded to my questions in detail. Avoid at all cost,do not do any deal with these people at all. Very bad agency with poor service,they only care about money making,the Russian woman called 'Lana' who runs the business will try to overcharge you for everything and when there is a problem in the flat they are not helpful at all. I rented a room in Maida Vale and stayed there for three month and had a very very bad experience. ... Read more
