I have had the pleasure of dealing with Tom Hood from St.John's Wood office. I find Tom very professional and helpful, nothing seems too much trouble when it comes to dealing with the client. He listens, understands and puts up solutions or suggestions quickly and in a client understandable manner.
Absolute rubbish! Very poor execution. They did not secure the place I wanted and tried to switch me into something that was more than £1thsd pm outside my budget. I did find a place with someone else in the end: bigger, cheaper, better location.
Chestertons in Hampstead were fantastic from start to finish. Daniel Fisher is your man for Lettings, he is really knowledgeable. professional and happy to help. I would highly recommend him to any local Landlord.
Patrick was always helpful and polite and went out of his way to accommodate our requests to view the property we were buying. He was extremely professional.
We recently rented through the Greene & Co West Hampstead branch and the entire process was pretty effortless. In particular, or agent Josh went above and beyond to ensure our move in went smoothly!
Booked an appointment and confirmed to view a property with one of the staff named Patrick.
However, when I arrived at the property, Patrick did not show up. When I called him again, I was told that he could not make it and had to send someone else to cover. The cover person does not know well about the property. The property shown to me also does not match what they listed on the website.
This is not professional at all.
We saw other agent showing customers the same development. The agent came on time with a lot of detailed information. What a contrast! How I wish I had contact the other agent.
David, Alex and the rest of the staff did a great job handling the sale of our flat. In a slow market they guided a difficult sale through to completion and kept everyone - ourselves, the buyers and the solicitors - happy and moving forward. A real pleasure to have dealt with them.
We were able to rent a property through this branch. The property was made available on the correct date as per our requests and the staff were very friendly.
However, it was a very unorganised and unprofessional process and we were charged fees that our previous real estate did not charge us. We weren't given information about the property even though it was requested.
We had the most pleasant agent experience with Daniel Avci from Winkworth (the St John's Wood branch). Daniel was sharp, professional, to the point and extremely clear and responsive. Everything (from the first viewing to completing the documentation and checking in the property, was dealt with in a very pleasant and professional way. Having rented in London for 7 years now, this was the first time that we didn't have any mistreatment / hidden fees or other last minute unpleasant surprises - so we do consider ourselves lucky. Thank you Daniel.
We had an excellent experience during our initial rental with the estate agent from Winkworth, however the check-out process from the flat was abysmal. The manager of the property, Agnieszka Kostanowicz, was an extremely poor liaison between us (the renters) and the landlord. Despite being called good tenants and leaving the apartment in excellent condition, as told to us by our estate agent from Winkworth, Aggie (as she is known) tried to justify taking two-thirds of our security deposit to pay for fees and "damages" done to the property that were obviously conflated to get more money for the landlord. Be careful negotiating your security deposit with her.
We dealt with a lot of estate agents when searching for a property to let and cannot stress enough the great service that Foxtons, and esepecially Yann Rogue, provided to us. Always with a friendly face, he was very knowledgable of the area, as well as each property, and walked us first-time letters through the process. It was a pleasure working with him.
Ben & Alex
Foxtons have no consideration for tenants whatsoever, and charged us outrageous fees for doing next to nothing. The moment we had signed our contract, they stopped answering our questions, and when our landlord repeatedly breached our contract, they sided with him again and again because he was the one paying them a monthly fee. When we finally managed to get out and they were required to show people around the flat, a member of staff stole a set of keys from the dining room table that they had no rights to, leading to a panic because we believed they had been lost.
This branch are only interested in whoever can bring in the money - and unfortunately, that is the landlord and not the tenant. The staff are generally brash, pushy and remind me a great deal of used car salesmen. I wouldn't sign with them again for any property, and am thrilled to be away from such a rude and unhelpful company.
