11th Jun 2024 (7 weeks ago)I don't normally review companies but My experience has absolutely been a nightmare with that company, they hold the deposit for months after you check out and they cut it as much as they want. They are so slow and they enter your flat without permission. Definitely not recommended at all.

25th Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)My friend and I have rented our first flat with Rochester Place last year in Camden. All the process from booking a viewing to moving into the flat was so smooth and quick. Reece and Abdul were 5 stars on helping us with all the information we needed as well as if we had anything questions regarding any paperwork. His team was always there to help out and ready to answer any questions even through our tenancy. Definitely recommend Rochester Place if you want to rent a flat or buy a property with them.

21st Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)Hanan at JLL Woodberry Down lettings has been an incredible and invaluable support in my relocation with my family to Cityview Apartments. From the moment I called the office in December to my move on 28th March, the process was not only seamless but enjoyable! As a long term homeowner who had not rented for over 20 years, my experience and knowledge of renting was very limited; Hanan held and guided me through the process step by step. No question or query was too 'silly' or small. I was able to manage the move far better by being able to get full clarity on the property, measurements etc and get a full comprehensive and detailed onboarding pack which was invaluable. She even helped me measure up and lent me a tape measure! I have made introductions to my friends seeking rental in this area and would highly recommend Hanan. As a now local resident I have bumped into Hanan and she has checked on how I am getting on which is a lovely personal and 'above and beyond' approach. Moving can be very stressful so I am very grateful to have found such a supportive and helpful person and team to take me through the process!

10th Jul 2024 (17 days ago)I had a very disappointing experience with Hunters West Hampstead Estate Agency. The agent failed to show up for a scheduled viewing, leaving me waiting for over half an hour. Despite calling their office twice to check on the agent’s whereabouts, there was no punctuality or communication from their side. This level of unprofessionalism and disregard for clients' time is unacceptable. I would not recommend their services to anyone.

3rd Jul 2024 (24 days ago)We had the most amazing experience with Huw Howell-Pryce from Dutch & Dutch. I rang Dutch & Dutch to register with them as we were looking to move house (rental) and still hadn't found anything after 6 weeks of looking. Huw immediately knew what I was looking for and arranged for me to go and see an off market property that very same day. The flat was incredible - complete with a roof terrace. Huw was knowledgable, supportive, friendly, transparent and most importantly, was very punctual in responding to our many requests. He turned around the contract from viewing to contract completion within 3 days. Since we've moved in, Dutch & Dutch have been equally quick to respond and helpful in managing the property. They really are a cut above the rest, that's for sure!
16th Jul 2024 (11 days ago)Honestly, as a tenant in London I have had such horrible experiences with the big name estate agents that I had come to the resigned acceptance that all estate agents were of a similar ilk. However, I cannot stress enough how different of an experience Empire Chase provides. In letting our property Empire Chase has provided a bespoke service with a degree of contact and follow-through that I had believed to be impossible to see. Their service has been impeccable and their rates very competitive - suffice it to say that I am truly glad we were recommended their services.
18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

They managed to close our sale in under seven weeks, which is an impressive feat. Their attention to detail and adherence to a solid process really paid off. But what stood out the most was their helpfulness and positivity. Nothing was ever a problem for them, and their upbeat attitude made the whole experience stress-free. Having been through the selling/buying process before, I can confidently say this has been the best experience. The entire team at David Astburys N1 is professional and excellent. Thank you for your exceptional service. I highly recommend David Astburys N1 to anyone needing estate agent services. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
25th Jul 2024 (2 days ago)I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the condition of the property we recently moved into, managed by Foxton, particularly the Maida Vale branch. The experience has been truly disappointing and unacceptable. Upon moving in, we discovered that the apartment was in a deplorable state of cleanliness and did not meet basic health and safety standards. Despite having high expectations and being assured by your representative, Jack Stanton-Gleaves, that all necessary work and cleaning would be completed, we found the property to be disgustingly unclean. It is common sense to ensure a house is properly cleaned for hygiene and out of respect for new tenants. To make matters worse, Jack, who made these assurances, disappeared without a trace, and we later found out he had been fired. This lack of professionalism and the false promises made have left us feeling deceived and extremely frustrated. Furthermore, the overall lack of communication from your agency is unacceptable. Despite multiple attempts to reach out and highlight these critical issues, my emails and messages have been consistently ignored, particularly by Paul Phelan and Karan Kumar. The absence of response is not only unprofessional but also shows a blatant disregard for customer concerns. This level of service and care from a company of Foxton's reputation is appalling and has caused us significant distress and inconvenience. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL THE COST.
