My deposit wasn't protected whilst with them and they wanted me to unnecessarily come in to waste my time in order to collect my deposit. Only after when I reported them did they send me my deposit back. They use bullying behaviour on the phone and rarely reply to e-mails. If you have a problem with the property they don't attend to you within the next two days and allow problems to continue. I would recommend anyone to think twice when dealing with Frognal Estates.... Beautiful place to stay, especially with small children, clean and cosy. The balcony is a highlight, you look onto green trees and bushes and you can hear the birds sing , although trains pass every 5 minutes, the windows shut so perfectly, you can sleep like a baby. Shops and underground in walking distance. We definitely want to come back.... Read more

Great agency! Great Service! I have been rented properties for more than 20 years and I must say this agency is great in terms of service, properties and on a personal level! I was their tenant from 2015 to 2023 living in Frognal and then Finchley Road. Throughout my 8-year tenancy, the service provided by Frognal Estates was fantastic. If I encountered any problems with my furniture, they quickly repaired or replaced any faulty items. For example, they replaced my fridge within a day or my washing machine within a few days with both brand new equipment. It was always very easy to contact them and they always act positively on any of my requests in a very nice manner. This is a great team that will support you throughout your tenancy. I highly recommend them and strongly suggest any readers to give them a call to check their latest properties. This is how it started with me in 2015 and I stayed with them for more than 8 years and rented 2 different properties after this first call!... Read more

There's a reason why there's so many negative reviews here. Also, the 5* reviewers look pretty fake too! These guys give estate agents a bad name. The people that work here are some of the rudest people you could ever wish to deal with. They really don't care less about service. Every time I go into the office, I see them shouting at customers. Why people use this company, I don't know Edit: Look at the 1* Google reviews, and see the angry/crazy replies from Frognal Estates. Good companies don't behave like this!... Read more

Right from the time of check in my experience had been the worst ever. I am not surprised all about these negative reviews that I have only just seen about this company. -Especially about this woman working for Frognal Estates ( staying outside with a cigarette all day ) her name is ‘ Rima’ An Arabic woman . She has no manners whatsoever .-you could be a politician , teacher a very important person she would humiliate you in front of everyone. Basically , just one day before my arrival to this place this agency forced me to pay 450 for one week rent I mean forced ‘ not asking me kindly ‘ forced whenever I asked a question they just kept asking for the money and ignoring all the questions I have asked about the property condition. I woke up the second day and I walked down with the rubbish in my hands.- I must admit, I had to do lots of cleaning because the place is NOT CLEAN !!Additionally, I had to buy bathroom cleaning supplies and I also found lipstick marks on the glasses . ( how disgusting ) Anyway, so I walked downstairs and I said:" good morning "as she was outside SMOKING ( so unpleasant and unprofessional) she said the following:" darling do you have the money ?? "I said excuse me I’m not your darling number two what do you mean I only came yesterday . She said you have to pay in advance for the next week . She started to argue with me I felt so uncomfortable I said to her look you can’t talk to people like this in the UK . Is out of order. - bear in mind that her English is so poor - she raised her voice at me and I felt so uncomfortable. She basically ruined my day and made me upset. After trying to discuss this matter she smashed the door on me and went out for another cigarette and a glass of whisky ! It was obvious that she find it really hard to communicate with other people and she must have some sort of mental issues. Additionally, the people above me with 2 children were very loud and I could not sleep . I had a couple of interviews that week this is why I decided to stay I the area.. Overall I would never recommend this place so unprofessional this place should be shut down . I wouldn’t even mind to get in touch with ombudsman and take this further.... Read more

Lucky to even get a 1*. Booked a room online a week before. Checked in at the Frognal estates with a woman called Rima, whom we already met at the entrance with a cigarette in her mouth, she threw it away on the floor quickly knowing we're heading into the estate and half greeted us. Rima gave us our keys and word directed us where the room was, we walked through a flight upstairs with our heavy luggage (no lift). Open the door to the supposedly right room we booked via online, only to realise it wasn't even the room we booked. Off we went back to Frognal Estates which is just right next door to the apartments. We asked Rima, why weren't we given the room we booked, we even shown her our booking and the look of the room, she didn't say much at first then she came out with 'I don't know if you would like this room more than the other one', husband and I persisted we would rather take the room we booked for especially for the price we were paying at per night. This time a guy took and directed us to the room, asked us 'to check if that was the room', my husband went to check and he replied 'yes'. I then proceeded and asked the guy 'why didn't you give us the room we booked at the beginning to prevent all this' the guy replied 'I don't know' and walked off. Never been a type of person to complain and to write a review but this is appalling behaviour, full grown adults with this kind of attitude in this day in age. I wish you no success in business and with how you all are behaving, this will only drive the so-called business down to the ground. If you think this way of mentally bullying your way through is the way forward then god bless your children.... Read more

I was referred to this agency by another (happy) customer who's also a friend nearly 1 year ago. So far I'm quite happy with the service and Robert has been professional all the way through (I'm still in the property). I know I hammered him with lots of questions and he never changed his attitude keeping it professional all the time. He was clear that warranties need to be provided to the landlord and I think that those requests are fair and valid. As long as you can provide that you can afford your rent I don't see where the problem is (and this is valid for ANY agency out there). I really don't understand some of the reviews i read and to be honest I really doubt some of them are genuine.... Read more

Reading your comments on the negative reviews you tells everything about you and how unprofessional you are!!! instead of being sorry on behalf of your poor staff you are here justifying their dreadful behaviours and moreover you are here to insult people and disclosed private details of their conversation with you just like what you did with Rose's comments below??? Honestly how ridiculous is that!!!! Clearly you are not someone who accept criticism, you are taking this way too personal and in your opinion all negative reviews are fake people including myself!!!!??? Me and my husband booked a viewing with him to see a property in St. John's Wood but we arrive 10 min late, when we got there and while parking the car, I receive a call from him shouting at me and talking in a very rude manner asking me where we were and that we waisted his time because we made him wait half an hour, where in fact we were 10 min late and were already there!!! He then hanged up the phone on me and never answered our calls. He waited our time and the journey we made to view the property. Finding a decent secure studio flat in London for a couple is not that easy and would like to thank Frognal Estates especially Robert for making our life easier. Robert helped us with the viewing and the flat was exactly how he described with honest suggestions as to why the flat ideal for a couple. Studio flat was painted and looked even better when we moved in. Very helpful and kind of him for not only completing all the formalities/paperwork in smoothest of way but also in helping us get a new broadband connection(even paid £25 cash to virgin media on my behalf as I was out of London). Most importantly, a pending repair work not so critical was also fixed promptly the same day(surprising for me). Would definitely recommend Robert and Frognal Estates for lettings.... Read more

Clearly you can see by the reviews of this agency that it should be avoided. I just spoke to Robert, trying to arrange a viewing for a property in Mayfair. He told me he thought this flat was too big for me by myself which was incredibly rude. He then went on to ask what my salary was and I explained that my Father would be my guarantor. He then said that financial checks would still be done on me and not my Father. I have rented 3 properties in Mayfair previously - all of which my Father has been guarantor for and never have I had to go through financial checks. Not that this is a problem - but to demand this information before I've even seen the property is ridiculous. I've viewed over 60 properties in Mayfair over the last 5 years - mostly with agencies you've actually heard of and never have I had someone demand this information from me before showing me the property. Robert concluded by telling me he didn't want to work with people that weren't 'open' anyway. I don't know how a landlord in Mayfair made the mistake of choosing an agency who handles their clientele in this way - but seriously, think again.... Read more

Agency fees are really low and affordable, deposit request only 1 month in advance (rather than the usual 6 weeks) and reasonable rent prices for a central London property. Also, maintenance issues are solved promptly. I was assisted by Robert in viewing some flats that would be of my interest and it was a smooth and pleasant day. The whole process didn't felt like a push sell, totally the opposite. He took time to show me flats in different areas of London, all the while battling the traffic in the city and pointing out the pros of each one of them that would interest me. I did managed to find what I need, in a very nice central location and good size flat. Happy to say the building is managed by the agency and has cctv camera at the entrance. I moved in a couple of days ago and the flat was cleaned, garbage taken out and signing the rent agreement couldn't have been any quicker. I received a couple of calls after moving in asking me how was the unpacking going and if I'm happy with the flat, if there is anything I need, which I find extremely pleasant and professional. AVOID AT ALL COSTS ! As corporate tenants we can honestly say we are disgusted with Frognal Estates. They are cowboys and they harass us by entering the apartment without notice and during unsocial hours. We rented a property in West Hampstead via Frognal Estates and they threaten us with illegal eviction despite a formal section 21 notice not having expired yet. Their employees are rude and despite having warned them that we would take legal action against them they enter the apartment without notice and using threatening language. During the tenancy they are very slow to respond to emails or calls and they did not ever care about maintenance issues or even the bare minimum of a Gas Safety Certificate . We have reported them to the police, the Redress Scheme and we will file a report with the Ombudsman too. Total cowboys!!!... Read more

Initially I'd like to begin by reminding you of a visit Suhair and I paid to your office three weeks after our move in date on the 1st of November 2015. We were quite frustrated by all the malfunctions in the house (blockage, sewer smell, broken electronic supplies, broken radiators, jammed windows, and the list goes on), and most importantly we mentioned how filthy the house was upon our arrival and I specifically remembered mentioning the layer of dust on the floor and the 15 spiders and their cobwebs spread out around the house (under my bed in the master bedroom between the wooden planks was filled with cobwebs and three spiders, so apparently I was sleeping with spiders for three months up until the point i lifted my mattress and found them). I also specifically remember you being appalled by the outrageous experience we had, and were quite sympathetic with us. The conversation ended with you telling us to move out of the apartment in the same shape as we left it. To my surprise, as I was checking the deposit in my account, I found it to be missing 72 pounds. Accordingly I called Qais to ask about the reason why the deduction occurred, and he so aggressively replied by saying that the landlord was not happy with the hygiene of the place and that too much trash was left behind. Sadly we are being falsely accused, as we made sure that all trash bags were thrown in the bin and the floors were swept before our departure (even though we were informed by you to not worry about that earlier on as mentioned before). I can assure you that the apartment was left in the same condition as it was given to us. I would appreciate your prompt reply to help fix this issue asap, as we feel that this amount of money was unfairly deducted... Read more

I have rented a flat from this agency for 30 month What I have thought about this agency so far are below The flat was 4 bed room property and the rent was 2600pounds per month so it is hard to pay the rent so I got permission from the agency to share the rent with another flattnmates in verbal. 1. They do not provide prompt management service, I report the fridge problem a month ago and they delivered the fridge last Friday. 2. They do not put your deposit into DPS. I have requested my DPS reference number from July 2011 but they have postponed and they put my deposit last July 2013 exactly 2 years later. 3.They do not pay the rent to the owner who lives in abroad for more than 3 month . One of my friend has been forced to move out because this agency does not pay the rent to the property owner. They have not got any outstanding expenses for managing the property but they did not pay the rent to owner 4. For this circumstance I do not want to pay the last month rent so I have asked the agency to use my deposit as a last rent and then one of staff was shouting at me and blackmailed me to chuck me out and to call the police. And they declared that not paying the rent to the owner for 3 month is non of my business. And they said if I am not the lawyer of my friend, 'Shut up!!' 5. Therefore, Frognal Estate is not recommendable agency to find a property... Read more
