Condescending man. Told us we didn't know anything about buying house, even though we're more educated than the average house buyer and spent months doing our research on every angle of house buying. Told us he's been doing estate agency for decades and knows all there is to know. As experienced professionals ourselves, we admit there's always more to know. Approached us on behalf of the sellers, after sale had been agreed, to unscrupulously ask us for £10k more than the the agreed price, without financial justification. His actions show he is acting purely for the seller's behalf who instructed him, and not ours, because it is in his self interest (ie commission) to do so. Had to deal with Butlers because that's who the sellers chose to sell their home. Butlers are stuck in a bygone, non-digital era of the estate agent industry suited to a certain type of client which excludes us.... Read more

This company is a joke. We drove 30 min to a property we wanted to let, but we found no one there. Of course they don't provide any agent number so you can't contact the person you should meet and neither they don't call you back if you are late (assuming that you may not find the address). Due to the after work hour we had the viewing, of course no one answered the office number. Avoid at all costs, otherwise you will have a very "professional" experience.... Read more
