I have to say I have been extremely disappointed with my buying process as a first time buyer with Carter Geering. My mortgage process started in mid 2021 with Carter Geering and now in March 2022 I still don’t have a mortgage and I am reaching the end of my two month extension. I have had to move into the property renting for two months otherwise I would have no where to live, with rent twice the price of my mortgage. After finding some maintenance issues with the property when moved in (which were all essential things) one of the agents said to my partner on the phone, and I quote, that I was “slagging off the property” which is entirely unprofessional and upsetting for me to hear that someone has said that about me. I have had three different estate agents on the case over the course of the buying process and none of them have expressed sufficient sympathy or apology for causing me this stress. I appreciate that majority of the problem is not due to fault of Carter Geering, but I do not feel supported enough or listened to by the business.

Catherine at Carter Geering was very helpful and did a brilliant job in helping us get our property over the line. Nothing was to much trouble and she was always their to sort out any problems or have calming chat in what can be a very stressful experience.

Highly recommend, I dealt with other estate agents in crediton and Carter Geering (Catherine) was certainly the most pleasant and helpful to deal with. Due to my limited time Catherine went out her way to assist me in gaining a rental property to help me relocate back to the area

We recently purchased our first home that was listed by Carter Geering. Megan was great, answered any questions about the property we had and was very responsive. She organised additional viewings throughout the buying process and helped organise a visit from a trusted contractor to check on the few queries we had about the property with no hassle.

Myself and my partner purchased our first house through Carter Geering and we could not be more delighted with the service they provided. Throughout the whole process they have been fantastic and went above and beyond to help make our purchase as smooth as possible. They went out of their way to accommodate additional viewings for us, even outside of office hours, open up an efficient line of communication between us and the sellers and answer every question we had while reassuring us throughout the whole process.
I want to say a special thank you to Megan, who could not have been lovelier and more helpful during our house purchase. I would highly recommend this estate agent and would definitely use them in the future.
