All I would say is that if you are selling a low value property (like a holiday lodge), beware. Service was ok, felt bugged at times. If you find your own buyer, make sure you leave enough time after serving notice before you go into a private transaction. They obviously have contracts to protect them (and I understand this) but I feel like I have been robbed of £3k, as I found my own buyer

What can I say, if I could give more stars I would! After what should of been a chain free, cash purchase and so easy, sadly it was one of the most difficult and stressful moves for both myself and Underhill. BUT I can tell you that Andy and the team were absolutely superb and professional all the way through, nothing was a problem for them and they went above and beyond to get me moved into my forever home! I'm very pleased with the service I received from Andy and the team at Underhill Estate Agents when I sold my house in Exeter. Andy gave sensible advice about the asking price and was able to arrange for some decorating and maintenance jobs to be done to maximise the house's appeal to prospective buyers. Andy quickly secured an offer at the asking price. When it became clear that there was a delay at the buyer's end, Andy stepped in to get things rapidly back on track to complete the sale. Based on the service I received, I would recommend that anyone selling their house should do so with Underhills.

Very disappointed after travelling nearly 12 hours round trip to view property but as I was 10 minutes late arriving at park home site and problems finding property could not view as sales person had to leave but did not think to phone so I found out after phoning the office. !!
Have been told I am blacklisted for complaining after sales person said they waited 30 minutes. and I said they were not there as I was opposite the property before 20 past.

I found a property though Underhills and I told them about my sale and they stopped me from making a very big mistake that would have cost me dearly. I cannot recommend Underhill's enough. Went well above the call of duty and above and beyond all expectations. They sold me for a great price and helped me through the whole process. Even coming up trumps in my hours of need when I had no one else to turn to. Taking me to an emergency doctors and dealing with awkward situations I found myself in. I highly recommend them I have been meaning to write this review for some time, but have struggled with putting my fingers to the keyboard; my apologies to you all at Underhills as you secured my sale allowing me buy my new home and have something for my family to focus on.
Basically for all of you reading, during my sale I went in to early labour, my children were born far to early, and had to fight for their lives; sadly one did not make it. Buying and selling is stressful enough, Andy and his team, were amazing, throughout this process they worked in the back ground with my parents and all involved to keep and progress the sale whilst we lived in intensive care. I cannot thank Underhills or recommend them enough. For me their professionalism, their compassion and their support during my moving process and during my darkest hours has been outstanding.

Underhills have been brilliant and I received 2 good offers within two weeks of being on the market and had agreed a sale at a price I was very happy with. Unfortunately due to unforeseen personal circumstances I have had to take the flat off the market but I would still highly recommend them and will use them in the future as I felt they gave a realistic sales/marketing figure compared to other agents that came out to quite but also offered a competitive price for their services.
Cannot thank Ben enough for keeping me updated through the process and providing feedback on viewings, and for all the advice and help, even out of standard office hours.

In 40 years if buying and selling property I have never come across such an amazing service as this . As a long distance buyer viewing was difficult and the team stayed late , picked me up from the station and did everything possible to help the purchase of the house go through. It is a week later and they are still helping me find trades people . Andy Sims the manager at Cowick Street came over after work to fix the padlock on the back gate prior to a garden delivery . With things like Rightmove you no longer have to sacrifice personal service from a small firm , for the coverage you used to get only with the larger ones .
