A cut above the other agents in Kingston, we've rented from them on a couple of occasions and they've been very professional from start to finish. We dealt with Jade on this occasion and couldn't fault her she has reacted quickly to any issues that have arisen and always happy to go above and beyond to get things sorted. Unfortunately I have been a tenant in a property managed by Feathertstone Leigh for 2 years and I have had errors and non-responsiveness nearly every time I have been in touch with them. If they are not getting a fee from the process they will to the utmost to not respond to you, having to chase them numerous times for each issue. Engineers turning up unannounced (during coronavirus, too), and then when contacted to let them know they would put the blame on the engineer. When originally signing contracts with them, they sent our documentation to two other people on two separate occasions. Constant spelling errors in contracts. When we left the property we were told to leave the keys in the office and the letting agents would contact the new tenants to arrange them collecting them the next day however I then had the new tenants contact me as they had received no contact from FL and were worried about how to access the property as their office had closed for the evening. The next day when they moved in FL gave them the incorrect keys twice. These are only a few of the many issues I have encountered and with them. They have consistently been so unprofessional and having lived in numerous rented properties this is the worst experience I have ever had with a letting agent. If you are a landlord and looking for someone to manage your property horrendously and never respond to your tenants then look no further.
I have recently rented a flat and had a great experience with Leaders from start to finish. Very friendly staff and accommodating. Will definitely be using this Agency for the foreseeable future.
Very bad experience with Leaders Kingston. We requested a viewing to a property which we are very keen to buy - no response. We called and they were not keen to show the property to us - only at a time convenient to them under their terms. Will look elsewhere!
I have just moved into a wonderful one bedroom flat in A walking distance from Kingston Upon Thames town centre. My agent was Ms Serena Lal - a lovely and very attentive young lady. She showed great patience and diligence throughout the whole letting process. I felt taken care of individually, which is very important when it comes to customer service. Thank you, Serena. You helped me and my son move forward to a new step in life.
The agents (both in Lettings and sales) are rude and arrogant. My 80 year old frail mum who was buying a flat in Kingston with KFH in July was treated in a deplorable way. The lady dealing with the sale (Ashliegh) was not present so the others around just left her begging for a ride to the property as she didn't know the bus route and the surveyor was waiting for her at the property. She instead came to kfh and begged them for a ride to the property. I would not recommend this agent to anyone. They lack simple courtesy and humanity! I called to complain and was told the agent who was the rudest to her behaved in that way because he was already on a termination notice. There are many other good agents around, please steer clear of this one.
I thought I had met one or two good agents before among the sea of mediocrity and sometimes ineptitude in this field. But dealing with Jack at Snellers over the past few weeks, I've got to say he is the best I've ever encountered - by far. He's everything an excellent agent should be; attentive, honest, knowledgeable about the local area, he cares, and he acts as a true middle man between buyer and seller, so both sides feel heard. He doesn't fob you off or lay on the spiel in a lame and transparent attempt to just get you to change your mind. Because you can tell he gets what you're saying, you're all the more willing to listen to what he has to say, and you end up feeling like you have an advocate during the negotiations. Over the course of our interactions, I've concluded to my own satisfaction that he is genuine and honest, and doesn't play games. I think other agents fail to behave in the same way with potential buyers because they believe that if they did, the buyer wouldn't offer as high an amount as if they were creative with the truth and did their best to "sell them" the property. I think that actually the opposite is true - personally, I came to feel comfortable enough with Jack that I had the confidence to go to an amount a fair bit higher than the level I had set. Then, he follows things up without pestering. If he can't get through to you on the phone he'll send an email instead of bombarding you with more calls while you're at work. Small things like that make the experience a lot easier and more pleasant.
Never had so many issues along with ILLEGAL conduct from both the estate agent and landlord. Property was so dirty when moving in. Carbon monoxide detector and fire alarm both had faults. Stay very clear of these people. Thieths who look to shift property quick and then scatter when issues are brought up.
I can't thank Robert enough for the help he provided for the purchase of our property. He kept the solicitors on their toes and did his best to make sure that everyone knew what was happening so there was no breakdown in communications. The fact that he wasn't the estate agent for our sale speaks volumes.
A thoroughly stressful and unpleasant experience using Laurels. Rob at Laurels repeatedly let us down whilst marketing our property, Was unresponsive, often not responding to calls or emails. We have some suspicions of being misled or worse, lied to, regarding offers received on our property. I should stress these are suspicions at this stage and investigations into this are ongoing. In our opinion, the poor service from Rob at Laurels cost us a perfect home to move into and almost lost the seller of this home thousands of pounds through loss of a deposit. My personal recommendation would be to save yourself the stress and hassle and go with agents with a long track record of excellent customer service. In Epsom, Cairds are a much better agent in my opinion and charge the same fees as Laurels, or Greenfields in the Surbiton area. Please don’t be misled by the notion that Laurels are much cheaper than well established High Street Agents are this certainly wasn’t the case in my experience. My advice, avoid.
Extraordinary service from Foxtons Kingston. Especially from our agent Suganth Wimalendran. He was great with us ALL the time. He asked the correct questions from the beginning and totally understood what we were looking for. Great service on the calls, follow ups, extraordinary presentation, service and approach on our appointments day, and then for the apartment confirmation. Unfortunately the apartment we wanted to confirm with Suganth was not available to see, and we needed to accept another offer due to timings. But definitely if you need to find a flat to rent, Suganth is your salesbusiness man. Professional, good listener, people person, eye on detail, kind, gentle and very interested on your lifestyle not in your $. Definitely I recommend to asking for him directly for a house search. Thanks for your support Suganth :)
foxtons do not know how to take negative criticism, do not behave equally and fairly to customers past and present. need to change their childlike grudge behaviour and only got 4 stars overall not the full. i recomend gibson lane a leading london estate agent who got full stars on the reviews.
i trust foxtons wont show this as they dont take negatives as they dont want to learn or change.
