Founded in 2007 in the middle of a major downturn in the property market, With a mission to improve and innovate the estate agency service that was being offered locally and stamped with my name to show complete confidence in the service.
The company offers a complete spectrum of property services and equally offer for sale or rent a complete spectrum of property styles and values throughout Bournemouth and Poole. We offer the service levels, facilities and technology of a large corporate estate agency but with an owner managed office enabling us to offer a personal and bespoke service.
As you will see by the staff bio's we have a real focus and are extremely proud to say that team are the back bone of the business. Each staff member has a complete dedication experience and knowledge to there relevant role and have been hand picked by me to run the departments mirroring the passion that I have for the business.

Me and my missus needed a home desperately for the 6th of October and MRKT Property Experts have been super helpful when most of the others left us for later dates and prevented my missus coming from China to spend an absurd amount on a hotel! It was mostly complicated bcs she needed a BRP number and she could only receive it on the 6th of October Only! Thank you so much for moving the process so swiftly with us!

Have been waiting for apartment repairs for nearly 4 months. Multiple calls, emails and false promises to contact the landlord/get repairs with James with no resolution.
Upstairs neighbors have flooded my flat, leading to mould over all the walls, contractor has broken the boards in the kitchen.
Agents are doing nothing about it. No acknowledgement of the issues at all.
I cannot recommend this agency at all. They're only responsive when everything is going well and money doesn't need to be spent.
If you would like to get literally laughed at by James on the phone - getting told he's too busy when calling to follow up on you issues, go ahead and use this company.

Lauren and the team at Christopher Shaw were really helpful and accommodating when I was looking for a new rental in December 2022. The staff are both personable and professional, responding to questions and queries really quickly. It’s always a bit stressful moving home, but the team made it as easy as possible. The welcome hamper really made the whole process feel special. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Christopher Shaw and the whole team.

They sold the property whilst we were in the process of setting up a one-year tenancy agreement. They did not tell us they were looking at selling the property, and did not tell the new landlord and new lettings agency about us, so the property went back up on the market with an increased price. Awful service. Stay away from them, especially if you are a student or a young professional as they will not care about you.

Having worked with James at Christopher Shaw over the last few months I can honestly say it has never been so easy. We have purchased a property from them & put the property back on with them for rent. Hassle free and smooth. I recommend Christopher Shaw to anyone who is looking for a smooth purchase transaction, or looking to rent their property out (ours was rented at asking price in 24 hours).

Me and my partner are first-time renters, and after an appalling experience with H&S, I'm sure I can speak on behalf of both of us when I say that we can not fault the service received from Christopher Shaw. Specifically, their Agent Lauren who was just fantastic. We had lots of finnicky and inexperienced questions and a couple of hurdles but Lauren came at us with serious professionalism, approachability and an attentiveness I have never known. I'm almost gutted that our actual landlords arnt the team at Christopher Shaw because I quite literally, Trust them.
Thankyou team, and Lauren for making this a really smooth transition in a pretty rocky time for us.
