I am planning to buy a house and I took my day off because I had 2 viewings and 2 hours later they cancelled the viewings and they didn't even give me the option to see one of the houses. Honestly, this service doesn't seem like they want to sell. They are unfriendly and don't help you find other options.

The icing on the cake was my partner going to pick up the keys to my flat only to realise they are the keys to someone else’s property.

Gone from being really helpful and lovely to unhelpful and uncaring overnight. I signed a contract for my flat tenancy renewal back in February but they failed to tell me that my landlord had not signed and returned the contract so I was blissfully unaware that my home was a risk. I was advised my home is for sale last week after renewing various utilities for another year that I will still be liable for when I leave. In panic mode I put a holding deposit on another property without really thinking it through and put under pressure to move quickly. I have pulled out of the new rental but disgusted when they refused to refund my money despite their mistake in not passing on information. I have religiously paid my rent on time despite being made redundant over covid and feel this is a pretty unethical and unpleasant way to treat a good tenant. All in all their mistake has cost me a fortune and I wont use them again. Started out so good but beware when they make a mistake they wash their hands of you.
Update…. Reduced my rating even less stars when I saw the unsatisfactory and bias response I got from the shower of complete unprofessionals. They aren’t interested in dealing with their mistake and are totally ignoring my very valid and proven issues. Won’t be using them again and I suggest others don’t, times are hard spend your money with companies who excel in customer service and want to look after you, with competition for business as it is use those companies who want to do a good job and who care about their customer and doing the right thing, it’s so important in this financial climate to go to companies who are prepared to work for your business and go the extra mile… which is certainly not this lot!

I definitely recommend using Austin Wyatt in Bournemouth to sell your house for you, especially now Charlotte Martin is the branch Manager, she is the best I've ever come across, I really can't sing her praises enough, she's there for you all the way and will go the extra mile to get things done. The only negative thing I will say is, choose your own conveyancer, don't go with the Austin Wyatt Countrywide Conveyancing Connect because they pass you on to a third party and this can make your conveyancing experience very stressful, especially if the third party is Convey Law.

We have been dealing with Austin & Wyatt over the past 2 weeks and all I can say is what an amazing service they have provided. Megan, Anna and Emily are all lovely to speak to, each and every one of them have gone over and above and been very helpful and they really have gone the extra mile to ensure we got the property we wanted, and so far our move has been going smoothly. I just rented my property with AW and I am thoroughly impressed and pleased with their service. I live in London and was not able to travel to Bournemouth to rent the house - however I left it with the estate agents and they managed to do everything without me even having to visit. I have now left it with them to manage as well. They provide a very good service and I would recommend them to all new landlords.

When I said its advertaised as a 1 Bed , the guy argued and said it wasnt.

So this is a tough review to leave, and let me explain why. Upon entering the office I found a gentleman sat back in his chair using a vape talking to another gentleman behind him. The second stood up and introduced himself as Ben the sales manager. I ask if they did lettings and Ben was most helpful and took my details as he explained Andy the lettings manager was on the phone. Andy became free and gave me the advice I was looking for reference letting and the benefits of long term over holiday let’s. I left satisfied with my visit even tho a little surprised a large letting agent would allow staff to vape in the office, with the service of Ben and the information given by Andy I would have to give a 5 star, for the vape using guy I would suggest giving up as it can kill!!

We just move out and the agency now is asking for a receipt for professional cleaning when on the contract said clearly that you can clean or you can pay for clean. Also we agreed after the landlord give us a notice to leave the property we agreed to move out 5 days before that the landlord said, we move in 30th of October and we want to leave 30th of April, now they are saying that never happened and we are lying, and they are charge us for the clean and for the 5 days rent, after we were a good tenants, we offered the landlord 200£ more in rent, we paid 3 months in advanced, we make everything right and now that we are not money for them because we leave they are treating us in this rude and bad way. In the beginning they were good agency I think because we were meant money, you know paying fees move in bla bla and now they are making our life a trouble. So 1 star for you guy because the people doesn’t mean money, we are all the same thing and everything have problems and a life, the life is not just pay the agency’s and have problems with them, your work is got our money to make our life better and easy no this things awkward and pathetic, I hope the situation chance and I can chance this review

We were recommended to use Austin and Wyatt from a friend. From day one, we could see that Ben and his team were passionate and keen to sell our property. We had the property on the market already but bringing them onboard, helped us sell our property relatively quickly. Kerry was one of the team who really helped us during the process. I couldn’t recommend these guys anymore! They also got us an extra £2.5k more than we had it on the market for!! A professional service all round

Last year when i tried to sell my flat in Madeira Road i had nothing but problems with the independent estate agent i used. they wanted 1.5% as well which frankly i agreed at the time but in hindsight was a terrible decision. austin and wyatt have managed to sell my flat at a reasonable fee and for the level of service they provided i couldn't fault them. Never have i had an estate agent who i could actually contact on a Sunday. their service is second to none and in this messy market thats what you want. Thank you to all the team that made it possible i will be in touch when i need to sell again. S

Austin and Wyatt have been nothing other than outstanding with my sale. I cannot fathom some of the negative reviews on here. This agent has done more for me than the likes of Hearnes have ever bothered. You want an agent that will actually come back to you even on Sundays and not charge you the bloody earth than look no further. Ben, Chris and Josh thank you for your professionalism.

hi, had no success with two agents so was told to take it off for a week, had a professional photographer come and do photos. they actually increased the price by £4500 and they sold it on the weekend. went on the internet on Tuesday afternoon. i didn't expect it to happen truthfully however we actually exchanged yesterday and complete next Friday. enjoy the bubbly lads!

I hope you are able to see this as i feel this is the least i could have done in order to reward your hard work and patience with myself and my dear wife. I am unfortunately not as young as i used to be and getting around isn't that easy. The short story and my advice is this; if you are selling in Bournemouth or surrounding then please consider using AUSTIN and WYATT to sell your home. Having dealt with many agents over the years I can honestly say the experience i have had with Austin and Wyatt has been above and beyond any other agent i have used. Not only do Ben and Chris allow contact out of office hours including Sundays but they also have conducted viewings on my property well beyond the time frames i would expect from an agent. It is clear that office is not short of commitment and effort. How anyone has had a bad experience with them is beyond me. Will be selling with you guys again in the future! Fantastic service, great marketing and finally some honest estate agents. Ben and Chris have been fantastic in helping me sell my belated Mothers home. A sensitive sale and i feel Ben was the only estate agent who really took the time to appreciate the emotions involved with selling a house. Chris was alo very proactive in finding me a buyer and all his viewings were always prompt for timing. I cant thank the team enough and its nice to know there are estate agents who bother to work out of office hours to go the extra mile. In the end i am glad to see the back of that house and id certainly recommend other people to give Austin and Wyatt a call if they arent having the selling experience they have been promised from others. I am not one to normally make an effort to award good behaviour but in this instance I feel it truly is necessary. I was on the market for 2 months with my first agent who promised me they would sell it within our 8 week agreement. I received a letter from Ben in Bournemouth explaining he had a buyer for me, I understand the letter is just marketing material but I decided to call them and find out a bit more about their 'buyer'. I met with ben in his office and thought I would call his bluff and told him he had a week to get this so called buyer round. long story short, we agreed terms for two weeks as I was out of contract with my current agent and gave Austin and Wyatt the opportunity to find me a buyer, the following Saturday we had three viewings( all first time buyers ) two offers with one being at an acceptable level. it has been quite a difficult sale as I had a history of subsidence however Kerry advised me the buyers were content with the paperwork I had to support the works done and that she still felt very confident we would reach the end goal. We exchanged last Friday 07/09/18. Thank you to everyone in the Bournemouth office truly thankful. I am now in the south of France enjoying a Beaujolais, cheers!

i wanted to make sure i left a positive comment as the Bournemouth branch really deserve it. The whole selling process was quite a daunting one as i was selling for the first time. In truth i didn't really know what to expect. i work in the Bournemouth town centre so i just nipped into the branch and was met by Kerry who was very friendly and i explained to her that i was just looking to see what i could get for my money as i wanted to get something bigger. i felt like she really cared about me which was totally different to how i felt at the other agents in the road. she mentioned to me about seeing her mortgage consultant, Ryan, who would look at the costs of moving and buying and simplify it for me of which he did perfectly. Kerry arranged for Ben to come and visit me and we spoke into depth about the marketing, the strategy and how we could sell it. In short they really managed to take care of the sale for me and helped me move. what should be stressful actually became quite pain free. I have to thank all the of team in Bournemouth and also to Chris who helped me with distributing the keys! :) K x

Hi, Ronald here, i dont usually bother to write reviews however in this instance i really felt it prudent to leave one. I have been contemplating moving for a while now but hadnt decided on which agent to use until a very knowledgable chap called Chris turned up at my door and offered me what i thought was some of the most professional and honest advice i have recieved from an agent in a long time. The team in Bournemouth are absolutely fantastic and i have been very impressed with the level of feedback and the quality of service i have recieved so far. My property has had a strong amount of interest since i decided to come to the market and can not fault the team for all their hard work so far. with an offer on the table i have certainly got some thinking to do!

I was on the market with purplebricks for roughly 10 weeks and i didn't have much success or much communication which was quite disappointing as i had been promised the complete opposite. I had a knock on my door from Ben asking me if i was looking in the area for properties to buy of which i'm not, however his pro-activity was quite impressive, so much so i asked him if he had any sold properties in my road recently, we had a good discussion and long story short, we agreed to work together.
i was visited by Kerry and Ben and then also a professional photographer who arranged the measurements and brochure which was really impressive. I was asked to go into the office to meet the team and agree the details which i did, this is when i met Chris who subsequently sold my property. The funny thing is that they actually achieved over asking price and i don't know whether it was down to the effort they put in, or the marketing but it just seemed to work.
i would definitely recommend the Bournemouth team if anyone is wanting a real agent to sell their home.

My parents decided to rent their 4 bedroom house out and Karen and her team have managed to find some excellant tenants. A lovely family who are keeping the place clean adn tidy and PAY their rent on time. Definately recommend to others! they may not be the cheapest but they will look after your property. :)
