CHEATS. I would seriously advise anyone to think twice before bidding for any property on this auction site. I bought a property back in January and as to date after several reminders the seller has not closed the deal. Now I am being told I will not get my deposit back. I have been told I can not dictate as to how long it should take. Whereas the bargain was to be concluded by the 10th Feb 2022. There is no protection for the buyer. BEWARE... Read more

This organisation is dishonest and takes advantage of people who decided to take part in auction for the first time. A bit over 2 months ago we found a very attractive ad on rightmove of a land plot sale via auction arranged by Future Property Auctions. In the ad it was stated that there is a perspective of getting a planning permission. Even though we know it can be years of waiting we thought the price reflects the risk. There actually isn't as it's in the Green Belt fact which was not disclosed even when asked directly. The vendor said that they don't know. The current bidding price was £8,000. Prior to bidding we made several calls to confirm the sales terms and reviewed the attached documents that show a single plot next to a number many others. According to ad and the auction team (Mr Stephen McCluskey) confirmed it, in case of winning we pay a buyer auction fee £3,500. So we ended up increasing our bid to £11,000 in order to win. So we won and the next day have been told by the owner of the rest of the land that the plot doesn't have road access so we'll have to go to court. Despite this aspect we knew we can't pull out from the sale. We had to hire a solicitor who, 2 days before completion, has shown us a sale agreement, drafted by the seller's solicitors, that obliged us to pay another almost £6000 of additional charges for seller's own auction fee and solicitors costs. Initially we refused to pay since this has not been disclosed to us during the sale terms enquiries. However we've been told then according to the same sales contract we'll have to pay high fines if the completion is delayed. Basically we had to pay the full requested amount hoping that this dispute will be resolved with the auction company. After multiple unsuccessful attempts to contact the responsible manager we've submitted a formal complaint. Today, almost a month later Future Property Auctions replied that terms have been made available to us after we put a bid (not true), completely ignoring that we're complaining about being lied about - that the full fees were not disclosed prior to bidding. It should have been there in the add in bold capital letters: BUYER TO PAY SELLER'S AUCTIONEER AND SOLICITOR'S FEES.... Read more

A real nuisance to deal with. The staff I have dealt with have been extremely unhelpful. Pointlessly refusing viewing requests, loads of mistake on their listings including serious things like fees out by thousands of pounds. They just seem muddled and confused about a lot of things and I also really hate the fact that some companies like RightMove are including Future Property Auction listings in their listings with all the above taken in to consideration.... I don’t know how you guys sleep at night? there is a complete lack of integrity as people and your business practices are dubious to say the least. The National Auctioneers Association members will act with personal and professional integrity that did not happen for me they also pledge to protect and promote the interests of the client and that also did not happen for me as the evidence shows. Ludicrous company to deal with properties they are selling jump from auction to fixed price over months as they dont sell but no response to offers put in, i also purchased a property using them as my representative as a bidder only to find out the seller of the property was one of their employees after which i was told i was responsible for the sellers fees as it was in the small print, is this is even legal, surely a conflict of interests here ???... Scam! Don't ever ask for further information about a property. You won't get a reply, but they will spam you with every auction until you block them. Tried to unsubscribe through their link, didn't work. Wish I've read the reviews before contacting them.... Read more

What a worst company to work with, Trust me guys don't buy properties from this company, they are fraud, we had dreadful experience with them, I don't understand why government not taking any actions on these fraud companies. If Google should give option to select ZERO Star review, I will definitely go with that, infact ZERO star is also more for these guys.... Read more

WARNING: Fraud, Do not buy properties from them they lie just to sell their property. DO NOT BUY IT you will thank me later. ALSO, they will lie to you and say that they will send u a home report but they will not as NEARLY ALL of their properties have something wrong with them. If you are going to use these guys make sure you are not a beginner and know your ways around as they will lie to you just to sell. pictures will be fake and even if they are real something will be wrong with the legal documents of the property either the government wants to demolish it or it has a major fault such as electricity and gas wiring. PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. ALSO leave a LIKE so my comment can come at the top and can stop hard working people from wasting their hard earned money on these frauds. NOTE: After they fraud you and you pay your deposit there is not much you can do as you will lose your deposit. however after you buy the property they will offer to resell it for you but OF COURSE they want their fee of 20% or whatever it is. however I refused to sell it to these people as I do not want them keep selling the same property to other innocent people like me and profit out of it. My father went to view a property in Largs recently and was disgusted at the way the property was advertised. He was lucky to to see inside the property prior to its sale and it was in an awful condition, with the ceiling falling in in one section, dodgy wall etc in another. The photos that Property Auctions put on line did not represent what he seen and he pittied the poor buyer. Disingenuous and maybe explains why they are not keen on sending through home reports... THIEVES! Please avoid this place. They are liars and will tell you anything to make a sale. John Morris is the worst of them all - Avoidance, lying and belittling. They hide details and sell properties without a property report and when you ask for one they lie and tell you the value is too low to have one. Have taken action and am waiting to hear from the Ombudsman. Places like this shouldn't be allowed to be in business. So many articles have been written about the lies and theft this business gets their dirty hands in. I wish I had read these before using this place. Unlawful.... Read more

Every single time without fail when I contact and ask for the legal pack/home report for different properties I have had the same answer ...” we don’t have it yet, we are waiting on the sellers solicitor sending it over today, we will send you it soon as we get it”. I am still waiting. The properties have then sold keeping in mind they still haven’t sent legal pack/home report or even let anyone view. I don’t understand why you would put properties up to go live that day when you have not sent anyone any of the details above before they bid? Very unprofessional. Also I had to email the same email 3/4 times to finally get an answer back. AVOID!! And don’t be fooled by the 5 star reviews they are 100% fake.... Read more
