Had a terrible experience working with Joe. He was completely unprofessional and rude and seemed to have little to no knowledge of the rental market. Communication was very poor, had to chase him all the time for updates, and it was clear he didn’t know how to do his job properly and he doesn’t want this job. Would not recommend working with him or this agency.

Know your rights!!! The agents have absolutely no right to enter your flat without your consent. They can’t simply enter the flat with the spare keys. Tenants are not obliged to let agents do viewings.
These people are simply extracting as much money as possible from the clients. They quoted me £200+ for cleaning a studio. I used my own service so they found any possible way to deduct my deposit. They simply didn’t read the check-in report and blame existing problems on me. They charged me £120 for cleaning the toilet and floor which should take less than 30 minutes.

Stay away from this agent if you can, an agent with no honesty and trustworthiness. When you provided an offer, expect them to put you on hold for endlessly long. When you confirmed the acceptance of offer and paid the holding deposit, expect them to further bargain for offer conditions and force you to accept it or surrender to latecomers with better offer conditions. After moving in, expect very poor and inefficient communication and getting charged 3 digits for subtle maintenance issues.

Not just a pleasure but a real win dealing with Coopers Hillingdon. From the first meeting with Charelle Hastings to appraise and advise to the support of the team thru the trouble free viewings, negotiations and detailed and conscientious follow up to exchange of contracts I would highly recommend Cooper’s. They called me later the same day to advice they also obtained another offer and holding deposit from another person who offered more money so had to inform landlord (how is that even possible?). When things go bad, real character is revealed. ALEX KING and DAVID LEEK failed the test. It’s day two into our contract and the bed we negotiated hasn’t arrived. It hasn’t even been ordered for all we know. The agents didn’t respond to our cry for help. The very least they could do is replying to the email saying they will try and get a hold of the landlord. But we got no reply.
The rest of experience was alright except there was no inventory done at the beginning of the lease.

The one star may seem extreme but, the stress and anxiety caused at the end of our tenancy was just so bad. Everything was relatively smooth up until the end. A few things weren't fixed, even though we raised them as issues and sent photographs over, but it wasn't out of the ordinary for renters. The problems started when we were due to receive our deposit back. It's worth noting here that during the last six years of renting properties, I have never had any money from my deposit deducted.
Coopers have in their contract that we have to pay for a professional cleaner, so we did that. When we received our report back, it was clear that something was a bit off. First of all, they came before the cleaners because stained/dusty was noted on every part of the report. Almost every section had a red note claiming tenant cost.
The photographs from check in were limited, often taken far away and just a single photograph of each item. The check out photographs were plentiful! All zoomed in from many different angles.
One sofa in the living room was ours and the future tenants had purchased it from us. The inspector had listed lots of issues with that sofa and written tenant cost. Making clear to us that the inspector really had no idea what was going on, but just there to point out as many tenant costs as possible.
Items that were never present when we moved in were down on the report as missing, featuring, of course, a tenant cost comment.
The landlord wanted to charge us for scuffs to walls which should have fallen under general wear and tear. He also wanted to charge us for two new sinks, after a small chip had been noted on both. The small chip isn't visible in the photographs.
In total, the costs accumulated to £1,385.
Now, for a property that was left empty, without any damage or significant 'scuffs' that seems a little extreme, doesn't it?
We obviously were not prepared to pay any of this, and felt that the whole process was dishonest and verging on robbery. The estate agent we spoke to was very adamant that we shouldn't go to the DPS, commenting that we can come to a price we are both willing to accept, and that it's easier to just go through her. After a couple of months of back and forth messaging, they wore us down so much, and needing to pay for bills and new renting commitments, we needed our deposit back, so we settled on a much smaller payment.
In the end, it doesn't matter that we got some of our deposit back and didn't pay the full amount that was initially proposed. What matters is that companies like this are dishonest and unethical and take advantage of vulnerable people.
I hope this review helps people with their decisions, and if you are already in a contract with coopers then this can be used as evidence if the same thing happens to you.

I contacting Coppers of London for a flat I saw on their website.
They were quick to contacting me back to visit it.
I was really exigeant about what I was looking for.
I was in contact with Brandon, he was very professional, nice and he responds totally to my hight level of exigence.
The company was exceptional before the deal, during the deal and after the deal and they finally found me the flat I wanted after 1 month and a half of seeking with some others real estate agencies...
