We are buying a place from this development which won't be ready until next year, but of all the developments we visited, this was the best both from value and service. Gavin, the sales representative there was very professional and went through everything methodically and just gave you a feeling that he wasn't there just to flog you a house at any cost. He was definitely a cut above the others in that respect. The properties here feel well thought out and we think will be a nice living environment. We know HS2 will be about 3/4 of a mile from here but that doesn't bother us as the sound will be minimal at that distance, and if it actually ever happens anyway!!!....We obviously can't comment on the living in house experience yet, but suffice to say that I think the whole development has been sympathetically designed and we look forward to next year in our new house.... Scourge of the countryside, there is litter and site waste from this building site strewn around the land and lanes surrounding this development. They really need to send out a litter picking team.... Read more

While they are working on a large chunk of an even larger development of homes in Brackley, the area is well kept and there are lots of green spaces and it feels semi-spacious on the main roads through the housing estate with decent wide paths and grass verges. However, there are lots of cars parked on the road (not enough off road parking at all), all the houses have fake chimneys (why???!!) so some look silly now they have installed log burners, there are random houses still being worked on in the middle of the estate, the roads are unfinished and still looks a bit shoddy. Even from the outside, although the houses look ok, the worksmanship is pretty poor when you consider these new builds are selling for pretty reasonable money.... Read more

Unlike most new estates these days (e.g the ones currently going up in nearby Milton Keynes), the houses aren’t on top of each other, and the roads are nice and wide so parking isn’t an issue. They also have reasonable sized gardens, which again is rare for new builds in other developments. From what I’ve heard from the other residents, there have been a few quality issues but they have all been dealt with quickly and without fuss.... Read more
