Beyond that, they were always on hand (in person, via phone/email) to advise on the suitability of our property for renting out, our responsibilities as landlords and the setting up of the rental contracts, making the whole process hassle-free. In a nutshell - professional, responsive and friendly. Would happily recommend their service.
Do not go near this estate agents. Ben Siggins himself is a complete joke and the service they provide is diabolical. Stay clear if you want a hassle free sale or purchase

Dan phoned me to say he had a viewing on my property, then never contacted me back to say when. I called and asked what had happened about the viewing and was there any feedback, was told they were busy and I never heard another word from them. I got a call from customer services, who promised I would hear from the branch very shortly, needless to say no one called.
They booked another appointment for Raife to come and visit me as the photos were, as they put it, dull and dingy. Waited in all morning but Raif never arrived.
Recently purchased our first home. Very grateful to Gavin who assisted us throughout the whole process. Always contactable as well as being proactive in keeping us up to date at every juncture.
While selling with another agent, had numerous calls, letters and even a cold call on the doorstep asking how our sale was progressing. I can understand them trying to attract business, however I do not like a fake viewing arrangement through our online estate agency. Followed by calls on my personal mobile number which they can only have got from there. Even after several emails asking how they obtained my number I have not received a response.
I purchased and sold using Andrew & Co, I've also used other local estate agents as well as the newer online based estate agents. The points that differentiate them with other I have used are: No patronising sales patter, accurate valuations, excellent negotiation, and thorough sales progression. We simply would not have been able to strike the deal that we ended up with without them.
Emma in the lettings department is very friendly, professional and most of all efficient! After reporting a problem at 9am with a kitchen door lock jamming which resulted in us unable to open the door, we needed to go out the front door round to the back of our house to get into the kitchen. Not an ideal situation just to get a morning coffee, however within half an hour of reporting the problem a locksmith had called to confirm he would be with us that morning to fix. The locksmith arrived earlier than advised and fixed the door handle mechanism quickly. Highly recommend the lettings team! Thankfully we don't have many problems, but its very reassuring to know that if we do its dealt with promptly.
A huge thank you to The Northwood Ashford team, selling our house under the conditions we faced was tough but made so much easier thanks to the effort and support given by Gavin. Also, the rental agreement offered by Northwood i can not fault their service and value for money fees! I would highly recommend their services and hopefully use them again if needed in the future. Thanks a mill!!
