Where do I start? MY wife and I rented a bungalow from this company, We were told when we moved in that it would be a long term rent. Twelve months later we have a NON FAULT POSSESSION NOTICE ISSUED TO US, giving us 2 months two vacate the property. Having found somewhere and signing off the contract on the 20th March 2020, we could not start moving into our new property until 1st April 2020 however, On the 23rd March 2020 this country was placed into quarantine and new laws were brought in. One of these laws was that no possession notices or evictions could take place for a period of 3 months. Now for the interesting and appalling conduct from this company. On April 21st 2020 This company decided to turn up to our house in the morning and change the locks without us being there however, my wife turned up whilst Christine and the locksmith were there. This horrible woman named Christine put my wife in tears and told her that "she could do this and that we did not know what we were talking about". I turned up to the house having had to leave my workplace and both my wife and I having been put under a considerable amount of stress, only to find the place locked up and Christine and the locksmith having disappeared. I spent the next four hours contacting various people in the Staffs Moorlands Council and was told very assertively that Graham Watkins and Co had carried out an illegal eviction and on top of that, had not gained any kind of authority from a court to enter the premises. It is now 4.45pm and I have still not heard back from Rob Watkins to make an appt with me ASAP to hand our keys back over. I can also tell you that Rob Watkins is an absolute LIAR!!!! He informed the Council Officer that it was he that was present at the time of changing the locks and not Christine. I know for a fact that Rob Watkins was at an Auction in Leek all day and this can be confirmed by witnesses who were at that Cattle auction with him. In addition to all this, During the time we were in the property we suffered with a great deal of damp which was reported by myself to the office and that one complete wall in the kitchen was so bad the plaster was actually falling off the wall due to it crumbling with the damp. Some of our clothes and the base of our bed has also been damaged by this damp, yet nothing was done about it. Furthermore, when we had really heavy rain in the February 2020 the roof had leaked and totally soaked the Chipboard in the loft. This resulted in the ceiling collapsing in the living room and again this was reported to the office with nobody bothering to repair it or come to look at it. I tried to call both Robert and Graham Watkins on their mobiles and when each of them in turn heard my name, they each put the phone down on me and refused to talk to me. WHO DO THESE PEOPLE THINK THEY ARE?????? Bottom line is this, Staffs Council Officer contacted Robert and explained that they are prepared to prosecute him and his company for illegally evicting us. His alleged reply to this was "THE LAST THING I WANT IS TO BE PROSECUTED FOR THAT OFFENCE" . I can tell you now Robert, if I am given any choice in the matter, you will be prosecuted for it and I hope you hang you head in shame at evicting someone without a court order and when the country is in the midst of a lockdown. Rogue agents such as yourself should not be in business and your attitude along with other members of your staff stinks to high heaven. YOU ARE AN OUT AND OUT LIAR. BEWARE THIS COMPANY, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND HAVE YOU OVER LEFT RIGHT AND CENTRE, THEN LIE TO YOU AND YOU WONT SEE YOUR MONEY AGAIN. YOU WONT GET TO SPEAK TO HIM DIRECTLY EITHER, HE DOESN'T HAVE THE MINERALS FOR IT, HE IS TOO BUSY GOING TO BAKEWELL AND LEEK FOR TO BUY CATTLE FROM THE AUCTIONS AND DEFYING GOVERNMENT LAWS TO DO WITH HOUSING. ONE STAR IS TOO MUCH, IF THERE WERE MINUS STARS ON HERE, THEN THAT'S WHAT THEY WOULD GET.... Read more

VERY POOR. I gave one star for someone in the office answering the 'phone. A quarter of a star was not an option. Perhaps it was a " work experience" situation. After 3 ' phone calls no-one turned up for the appointment. I made a 130 miles return trip for them to give a Valuation. Luckily 2 other EFFICIENT Companies did otherwise I would have sent them the Petrol receipts. Call 1 was just to enquirer about a suitable day & time. Call 2 was a confirmation to "slot in" with other two. Call 3 to give my mobile number as requested. NO person turned up & I made a call to ask why on the next day. After 4 days I was contacted by mobile pleading no knowledge. So how did they have my mobile number? PATHETIC! D. Troth.... Read more
