Would rather give 0 stars. They were supposed to be managing a rental property property and have failed to pass 2 months rent onto the landlord... won't answer phone calls or emails. Have just shut down offices in both Wolverhampton and kingswinford with no notice/explanation to customers . There is an auto reply on email stating Moving Holmes Ltd has ceased trading however in January this year the owner/director registered a new company called Moving Holmes Estates Ltd... absolutely disgusting they have kept people's money.... who can afford to lose 2 months rent?!?!... DO NOT use Holmes. They have strung myself and my husband along for over 6 months, claiming they were organising a Section 21 for a tenant that they rushed into our property with no references, who then stopped paying the rent. They lied at every stage about how the eviction was proceeding, even giving us a final date for the bailiffs to go round with the police, which had never been organised! UNBELIEVABLE! We have also been told that they have not been using the DPS scheme for tenants' deposits and have been spending the money instead! We have 3 properties with them and two of the tenants have moved on in the past few weeks, no sign of their deposits, despite endless promises from Hannah Plant at Holmes that the deposits have been released! The police have been informed of their unscrupulous behaviour!... Read more

Don't even deserve 1 star. You don't even put our money into a deposit scheme for a start and then you closed down and take off with our money without us even being able to contact any of you. It's disgusting what you have done. See you in court ????... Read more

Our Agency have been requesting the deposit from this 'Agency' since February 11th 2019 and they have not transferred it to ourselves or protected it while actually managing the property for the landlord before himself changing services, they emailed me very unprofessionally and were horrible to me on the phone, i have called them over 60 times and Hannah's personal mobile and no response and all i get is 'This phone number is currently unavailable' I have emailed 13 times in which they have all been ignored (Shock these emails were us chasing the deposit) we have sent letter of demands and still nothing all contact has been avoided since asking for the deposit to be transferred, they even asked us for our DPS details in which they took and advised it would be sent .. a week later not done...another week later as promised...not done and then advised they would transfer it via Bank transfer...Nothing shows in our account, We are currently helping the landlord seek legal action as they do not have this deposit and have stolen it from the tenant. VERY appalling and unprofessional service... Read more

Having waited 3 months + to get one of my tenant's deposit back with no luck I now understand that this office is now closed. If you are similarly affected I suggest contacting the Property Readdress Scheme, they are registered with them, to issue a complaint and they may be able to assist..... Read more
