I arranged to look at a property with IPS Worsley branch. This in itself was difficult as I sent an email request and did not hear back for a number of days. After getting no response, I called IPS directly and there was no answer. I left a message. After hearing nothing for a further 24 hours, I called again. This time the call was picked up and to be fair, Gaynor was very polite and courteous and a booking was arranged. Her sign off was that the estate agent was making a special trip to show me round the property, so if I could not make it for any reason, to contact them directly. I confirmed that I would. I arrived at the viewing on time and there was no one at the property. I called IPS and once again it went through to a call centre. After sitting outside the address for 15 minutes, I called again to be informed that the house had been sold and that I had been left a voicemail and sent an email to inform me. This was not the case as I do not have a voicemail facility and I have received other emails from IPS but none to inform me of this. All in all, not a pleasant experience when we travelled some distance and finished work early in order to view the house. I understand that properties are sold quickly, but I feel IPS has shown a lack of courtesy in their handling of this matter.... Read more
