Bought a house from this company over 5 years ago, dealt with Jay Potter at the time. He tried to make us believe that he was selling the house on behalf of a property developer and tried to pressurise us by saying the so called property developer was getting offers elsewhere and we needed to hurry up on our decision. I firmly believe J&D were the property developer to this day after speaking with neighbours who were there at the time. Since then we have been renovating the house, we have had problem after problem. From substandard outside rendering and poor internal plastering. Bad plumbing and tiling (tiles falling off walls and poor insulation in the walls). We have since spent over 40k in getting the house to a professional standard and the tradesman we have used have all said how bad the work was in the house. My advice is tread carefully when dealing with this company.... Read more
