Hamptons (particularly Ameesha in London Bridge branch) sorted this with utmost professionalism. They guided us through the difficult process involved, and kept us updated constantly on the goings on. By far the worst customer service that I’ve ever come across. We have lived in the property for almost 2 weeks now and still have not received the correct keys. They gave us one of keys and told us we had to get more cut because we moved in late! What is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard! After complaining there eventually gave us another set but then the lobby key did not work! I was informed by the landlord that she had told them that they had to get the lobby key done by a specialist key cutter, they obviously didn’t listen to a word of that. We currently still do not have keys when I messaged them about it, I was told I had to return the keys because they were a lot of money! You can understand why it’s the worst customer service I have ever come across. They did not apologise for giving us the wrong set of keys they have not said that they are going to get more cut even though it is in the contract. The complete absurdity of this whole situation irritates the hell out of me! That I can’t even get into the property that I’m paying for. But there is more! When we moved into the property of the hot water wasn’t working! It is still not working we have to get a new boiler! They said they checked it a couple days before we move in but the way the company is managed I very much doubt they did. We also have problems with the furniture that is unusable! The table in the living room is completely wonky the chairs scrape against the wooden floor, so at the minute I’m eating my dinner on the sofa. Until my order comes through on Amazon because God knows they are not going to get any new ones. Our double bed in our room has got wheels so every time we get on it I feel like I’m dancing on ice! The shower head is completely screwed! The doors to balcony do not open! I could probably go on for days! Yeah so a long story short you are probably best off not using this company. Save yourself the stress and knew someone else I wish I did.

Got stung in the car auctions, cars that arrive with keys, but that turn out to have engine faults, suddenly don't have keys anymore, they seem to get lost, and auctioned as "No keys" instead of "Engine fault" as you can get more money for a car that isn't advertised as "Engine fault". The 3 minute rule is a pure scam and not normal auction practice, just allows John Pye to run the bids up higher themselves using a computer. You cant see how many bidders there are or who you are bidding against, pure trickery. I have no proof, obviously, its just my experience, however i would bet on it. Also, be aware of any company that has to reply to every single one of the google reviews left by customers. Their replies and concern are just for show, to cover their backsides and make it seem like they care. Reputable businesses don't need to continuously sweep up the aftermath of disgruntled customers. Saying "please email us your concerns" is the modern way of saying "Go away, we don't care, we already have your money". Apart from those minor issues, its not a bad auction. Wait for it..."Dear Adam, we are sorry to hear you have a negative experience with us. Please email info@johnpye.co.uk with your invoice number and registered email address, so we can investigate further... This review is to warn other people like myself that are trying to earn an honest living. I do not want you to get ripped off as i did. Be careful with this "auction".

I recently rented out a property through Knight Frank in Canary Wharf and so far my experience with Chris Nguyen has proved to be great. Chris is professional and responsive, he goes the extra mile to make sure the paperwork is taken care of. He was there to answer the questions I had and I definitely appreciate his invovlement.

Initial experience is great and very professional but our experience at the end of tenancy was terrible. We were charged around £400 for damages for stuff which was by previous tenants and while some of it was mentioned in the check in report, some of the stuff was never mentioned. Our fault we didn't look in to too much detail in check in report as we had an understanding with the staff at knight Frank maintenance but she left and the new staff Heather didn't budge. She didn't bother comparing check in and check out reports and we had to eventually pay as we didn't want to get in to the hassle. The amounts they charge are over priced, for instance key replacement for the window was charged at £75. Our rent refund calculations were not accounted for and after several polite reminders they looked in to it.

Absolutely awful!!! Please save yourself the stress and seek a different lettings agency. I have rented for 7 years and have never experienced such a poor service. They do not vet the people in the house to match suitable newcomers, neither do they notify you that new individual(s) are arriving. They state in the contracts they must notify you 24 hours before entering the property however they come and go as they please. It takes weeks for them to respond to any maintenance issues - they would rather ignore and hope the problem goes away. We have had serious issues in our household, i.e. no heating - this took over a month to get fixed, mice, to which they accused us of lying about, faulty doors and draws... the list is endless!!! The cleaners never come when they say they do and if they do decide to turn up they just wipe the surfaces and go. Please be warned for the money you pay you do not get any security of being treated like an actual human being.
