Never answer their phones! Requested to view a house two weeks later had to go in the office to query this as they don’t answer the phones when got the office 5! Staff members all walked out fromThe back! Communication is shocking got an email to tell me landlord won’t accept my application with no reason to why?! And won’t answer their phones yet again! Unreasonable, unprofessional and incompetent. My auntie has been with larards for 10 years and they have never dealt with her feedback professionally or been approachable. She has been patient after taking this for so many years which has caused anxiety due to lack of privacy and peace within the 'private' property. A private flat is meant to be quiet and reserved, not in this case. Larards have never been understanding or dealt with this the best they can. They don't reason or do the best they can for their customers. Avoid.... Read more

Deeply upset with the poor service and unprofessionalism of Larards Lets. The property was available mid-September and agreed for a viewing with Megan. After viewing the property and before deciding to proceed with my application, I specifically asked whether this property needs anything to be fixed as will be starting working on 1th of October. Megan told me that this property doesn't need anything apart from a loose cupboard which the owner will fix and that it is ready to be rented. Agreed to proceed and set the 8th of October to be my moving in date. Couple of weeks passed, my references processed and passed their checks, and on 7th of October (since they haven't called me since) I called them to arrange my moving in time. I spoke with Belinda who informed me that they are having some electrical issues that the landlord needs to fix, hence I can't move in to the apartment. I asked them how long will these works take and she told me that she is unaware but will try to call the electrician. I told them that before agreeing to proceed in renting the property I specifically asked Megan whether there is any maintenance to be done and se told me that there isn't. Belinda told me that Megan must not have been informed, but I ask you ISN'T IT YOUR JOB to know these staff? I told her that I had viewed the apartment 3-weeks ago, hence why didn't they fix the electrical issues sooner, but Belinda was just being apologetic about it... I am honestly speechless and from tomorrow homeless due to Larards Lets... I should have known better by seeing their reviews online, but I decided to give them a chance to prove me wrong. Absolute joke of a company! We’ve got a leaking roof that was reported over 5 weeks ago! As well as a running/dripping shower/bath tap and a few other issues... we’ve rang them every week and not had any answers from them... no call backs or apologies but they’re happy to keep taking our rent every month it’s appalling! They are the most unprofessional bunch of people I have encountered, they do nothing to earn there money!... Read more

Absolutely disgusting service. I was in my house for 2 years I decorated throughout and carpeted. The lino in the kitchen was never glued down so ripped easily after informing them it never got replaced or fixed. The roof tiles came away in strong winds then stuck on with silicone (found by pure broadband guy) again they just dismissed my complaint which resulted in me having really bad mold for 18 months. Then the boiler kept loosing pressure for over a year they sent the most useless gad fitter ever who said he didn't want to strip the boiler because it was a pain. Again after complaining larrards did nothing. never again will I rent from them. Poor service, rude staff and the contractors they use are cow boys!!... Read more

I wouldn't even give them 1 star really. I spent an absolute fortune on the house I rented off them, transformed the garden into an actual garden as it wasn't fit to even go outside, carpeted the front room as the shite they had down didn't even have underlay under it so the house was freezing. Now they want to charge me £340 to move a little bit of rubbish that I left. Stay clear if you are thinking of renting a property. You'll thank me in the long run.... Read more
