A work colleague has narrowly missed being scammed by Leaders. She had the money (cash) for a deposit, having been given the option to pay a deposit or pay for membership for their scam. She took the cash to them and they refused her money and had decided that she HAD to go with the no deposit option - paying a monthly fee for nonsense and still being responsible for any repairs required. I know that the rental Market in Brighton is corrupt, this is a whole new level.... Read more

[From my earlier review, continued below: Sarah Campbell-Dawson in Licensing is absolutely amazing. There are so many hoops to jump through now with Councils that landlords are faced with hugely complex issue to deal with, with Councils who frequently do not even have their own systems properly in place; but who do not hesitate to make life miserable for the landlords. Sarah takes care of all of this with good humour and patience, and is able to take the hassle and worry out of the equation, and calm all fears.] Furthermore, Chloe Lettings Manager, & Iona Property Manager, are indispensably supportive in professionalism; prompt communication with owners, landlords and tenants; reliability; and liaison with Brighton Marina Management. Would highly recommend Fully Managed service if possible: it is not always recognised that there are so many aspects requiring attention to detail, and advice, which the majority of shop front agencies lack, when it comes to training, contract documentation, billing detail, licensing, inspections, repairs, utilities... and assisting with notifications to the dreaded Brighton & Hove City Council, which would be best consigned to the briny depths well beyond the windfarm where the fish speak French....
