Having been told by the agent that met me at the apartment that the previous tenant was moving out on the 31st October and once the property had been cleaned then it would be available on the 6th November. The information was incorrect I had to find alternative accommodation. My £150 holding deposit was stolen by them and they refused a refund they told me to refer to the terms and conditions. Get everything in writing before you hand over your money to these crooks. No phone calls returned. No response to emails. Awful company to deal with.... Read more

I have been fortunate enough to have LPS managing my Buy to Let property for the past 11 years and have always received excellent Service from Joe, Vicky, Karon and the team. Even when there are any issues with the property or tenants (which have been very few due to the excellent quality of tenants) , the relationship is such that things get resolved with a minimum of fuss. I worked with Karon buying my first house. She was always quick to respond to any queries and went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. For example, I had the slowest solicitor and Karon was so supportive - spending extra time chasing them up when they didn't respond to me. Do yourselves a favour and avoid this agency. They allowed us to access a property with unsafe electrical work throughout the building. We operate a care agency and were forced to operate from home during a pandemic because of this. The work which needed to be completed took 6 weeks to complete due to their ineptitude and lack of care for their clients. They are unaware of their contractors whereabouts and are unable to coordinate them to complete work done in a reasonable amount of time. The office tell you things are in place and jobs are scheduled and then when you enquire about them, they aren't. I have over heard the manager of the office slagging other tenants off whilst on the phone to contractors, purely because work needed completing in their home. The attitude from the younger girl in the office in particular is poor and she would benefit from an attitude adjustment and some customer service training. She is probably in the wrong job after having the misfortune of dealing with her on a number of occasions. There is a lack of professionalism and communication from the office. If they just took the time to communicate then it would eliminate the majority of the frustrations.... Read more

Embarrassing estate agency. Walk in and feel unwelcome immediately. Office is scruffy and staff are too concerned with their mobile phones to take any real interest in walk in customers. Avoid and go 100 yards each way of there office you will find much more professional brands.... Read more

Recently moved into a new flat through LPS, had some stressful communication issues to begin with but shout out to Sean who stepped in and handled the move in and communications with us by himself. Everything got sorted as soon as he was able to do it and Sean spent an hour and a half going around the flat with my flatmate to list off any items for the initial move in inspection. 5* to him for saving the day & for genuinely wanting to help us get the move in completed promptly and properly.... This is probably the first bad review I've ever written but this company have treated me so poorly I've simply had to have my say. They rented my house out to a couple who simply couldn't afford to pay, and when they went they said I should swallow it as it costs more in court fees. I have them the benefit of the doubt. Next they rented my house out to what they described as a lovely little Spanish couple, but I found out they had actually moved around 10 grown men from Romania into my property. To be fair they paid ok for a few months but that soon stopped and when they went my house was destroyed. Doors had no handles, stair case was wrecked, a widow was broken( and left that way by LPS even after a clean) basically allowing anyone free access to the property like it was a derelict building. After this they completely turned turk and treated me as though I was the problem. They basically told me they didn't really do much business in the area my house was in so what do i expect. I paid them to fix a lot of the damage and clean the house so I could find tenants and they put a few bits of filler in a wall, didn't even sand it down and kept the £450 deposit. Sadly I've had to change agents, but unfortunately I was talked into our to g my landlord licence in there name so now I owe out another £500 for a new licence. I'm so out of pocket it's untrue, all because I dealt with this shambles of a company. Do yourself a favour and stir clear.... Read more

The worst leting agent l have ever deal with. They gave me a viewing appointment and when l came from Wigan for viewing, they said sorry the house has been let. I contacted them after about a month to view a house. They said we will put you an the priority list and we will call you next week for viewing. I call them in the end of the week (Friday), they said the house has been let. Bangggg I won't deal with this agency any more even if l will be in the street. Steer clear of this company. They left me and my partner standing in the freezing cold at a viewing we arranged because they couldn't be bothered to phone us to let us know they weren't coming.
