Had the absolute worst experience with Sutton Kersh - avoid!! I was purchasing my first house through them and it took around 28 weeks to get the keys from when my offer was accepted. I felt like I constantly had to chase them and was never given an update, I feel like I was always having to offer up potential solutions, the manager was always condescending probably because I’m young/a first time buyer. I was consistently told “it’s just a lengthy process” and 26 weeks into the sale the manager told me “there’s nothing anyone in this office can do for you” - even though at this point the seller and their solicitor had made the case a priority as it has been going on for so long. Once I was told to wait till the end of the week for an update, called back and the manager simply said “no, nothing in the inbox” and I had to ask if she was going to do anything about it or if she was just going to sit and wait potentially several more weeks for a response, she wasn’t very willing to help unless pressed and I feel like her attitude and overall level of service were shockingly bad, I couldn’t believe that she was the manager. After the sale, the seller was reimbursing something their solicitor was meant to pay for but mine charged me for, I sent an email about this to ask them to contact the seller and I never heard back, they didn’t care once the sale was through. However, on the other hand, months into the sale my case was handed over to Mary Kate and she was amazing, her personally I would give 5 stars to. I called so many times and sent so many emails and she was always happy to help and seems like she actually did her job in chasing the seller and trying to get the sale through, rather than just sitting back waiting for a response and hoping something would change. She never made me feel like I was being unreasonable by calling for an update and never minimised the situation, in all honestly think she would be a much better manager.... Read more

Nicky ford has recently help take over the management of my property from another agent who was not performing as I would of hoped. From initial contact I felt reassured that I was in safe hands. Despite the previous agent making it as hard as possible for Nicky to take over the property she kept on the pressure and got the property signed over and the new tenancy agreement in place. I was kept up to date through the whole process which made the situation alot less stressful. All future properties will be going straight to Nicky.... Read more

I am writing this review to express my dissatisfaction with the service provided by Sutton Kersh. I had scheduled a flat viewing for a Saturday at 1 pm, with the arrangements being made on the preceding Friday. The agency had advised me to communicate any potential changes as soon as possible, which is exactly what I endeavored to do when I anticipated a delay due to a three-hour journey and potential traffic issues. Regrettably, the agent I had been dealing with was not working on that Saturday, and there was no automated out-of-office response to inform me of this situation. Therefore, I was under the mistaken impression that my message about my delayed arrival had been received and acknowledged. When I arrived at the property at 1:45 pm, there was no response from the tenant. My attempts to contact the agency by phone were met with indifference, as my calls either remained unanswered or I was told the salesperson was unavailable. In an attempt to rectify the situation, I visited the agency's office, which was conveniently located five minutes away. To my astonishment, I found the salesperson present in the office, despite my calls being disregarded earlier. I relayed the sequence of events to them, but instead of accepting their role in the communication lapse, they left voice messages for the tenant, failing to take responsibility for not conveying my delayed arrival. Their insistence that they couldn't facilitate the viewing themselves and their lack of initiative to find a resolution was equally frustrating. It is disheartening to reflect on the considerable amount of time and financial resources I expended, including a six-hour round trip journey and a hotel reservation, all of which was wasted due to their ineffective communication and a lack of professional responsibility. My intention was to purchase the property that day, however, this experience has cast a serious doubt on the professionalism and reliability of Sutton Kersh. I hope my experience will highlight the need for the agency to improve its commitment to customer service, communication, and responsibility to its clientele.... Read more
