After I submitted my request with a very reasonable offer for a flat, I got no response after 48 hours in what is a very tricky time for landlords ahead of the holidays. Not even a counter to ask me to offer more. I had to keep texting my agent for updates, the agent couldn’t even be proactive on that front. When you factor in the demographics of the Knightsbridge neighborhood I was considering and look at my name which featured on my offer to the landlord, I can’t help but wonder if I was being ignored in the hope I would just go away — an endeavor in which they certainly succeeded. By the way do you see a pattern in the type of names here that are posting poor reviews based on their experience? Interesting....
