Rented through Morfitt Smith and would not use again. They were unreliable and lacklustre with their communication, and only offered cheap hacky quick fixes to any maintenance requests. They also failed to inform us of a former tenant's illegal activities that had caused the property to be blacklisted by some delivery services. We only found out when the police showed up asking for him after he had turned up to our home a few days before. Several months after leaving we were billed by the council after the agency delayed the new tenants moving in. They asked the council to charge us for the time difference despite previously agreeing that we wouldn't be responsible for any bills after we handed back the keys.... Read more

I was hesitating about selling my home until Rebecca from Morfitt Smith visited to give me a free valuation. She made me feel so confident I decided to go for it there and then and put my house on the market. That was a great decision! She explained the MS approach, showing me her detailed research on my property and listening to my concerns. I suddenly felt I was in good hands and everything was going to be relatively stress free . My house sold within a week and I was kept up to date at each step thereafter by lovely, calming Gerard until the moment I gave the keys up to the new owners. It was a positive experience all round and I am very grateful to the whole team, but especially Rebecca and Gerard. Don't hesitate to choose Morfitt Smith for your move. They are easy to communicate with and have efficient and reliable systems. They make moving house feel like a special occasion to enjoy instead of something scary and stressful. Great estate agents. Polite, friendly, helpful, conscientious, non pushy when doing the valuation (even at that stage they were clearly better than the others) Threy dealt well with people coming to see my house, So much easier to deal with than the people we bought our new house from! Absolutely 5 Star Service from all at Morfitt Smith. We both sold & purchased through them, and from the valuation by Rebecca we knew we couldn't go anywhere else. All the way through the process, we were kept up to date, and with the amount of monkeying about that goes on with moving house, that communication matters a lot.
