I was viewing a property of this agency and I'd like to take a moment to mention a bad experience i had with a viewing today. First off, the man who was to be showing us around the property was very rude. Didn't make any effort with plesantries and looked as if he would rather not be there. We got into the property and he looked at us and said 'well youre here to view the property, so view it'. The house smelled of cat urine/waste/damp. The sofas were very stained with multiple different things. There was a cupboard door missing as well as a stair banister. We went into the garden, and the fences were pretty much torn down and a health and safety hassard. The garden was full of weeds and not as pictured. I queried the responsibility of fixing the fences and i got told that the landlord wouldnt be willing to fix these. And i queried why due to the health and safety of the fences, having whole planks missing and jaggy bits coming from it, he said the cost was too much, in which i wasn't impressed with. I exclaimed that it should be the landlords responsibility to keep the house to a certain standard and the man responded with 'well ive already said the landlord wouldnt be willing to pay to fix it, so they wont be fixing it'. I was overall just very unimpressed with the property and the service. I'd definitely be looking to provide a friendlier and less arrogant service during viewing.... Read more
