23rd Apr 2026 (11 days ago)The sales team especially Katy, have been great, very friendly helpful and cheery ,I was a bit disappointed in what the first agent said I could get for my house , he said £10,000 more and think he went more with what I was hoping to get , think all estate agents do need to remember that although they do this all the time buyers and sellers don't, so a bit more explanation and contact would be good, this is not just Move 8 , its most estate agents , my friends had same experience with other estate agents , all in all job done , now onto the legal team .
21st Apr 2026 (13 days ago)During the initial appointment/consultation, Jayne Smith provided an extremely comprehensive overview of the current property market in general as well as in my local area. She explained very clearly about the services offered by herself and McEwan Fraser, making everything clear and transparent. Lots of helpful advice was given as to my options and I felt confident that this was backed up by an array of knowledge and experience. I was given the opportunity to ask plenty of questions and found Jayne very friendly and approachable.
14th Dec 2025 (20 weeks ago)We have used Sturrock Armstrong and Thomson for our wills and for previous house sales and also when we moved house recently. Apart from a minor issue when our bid for a property arrived a few minutes after the deadline but was quickly resolved they were very good to deal with, kept us informed at all stages and were particularly attentive when we were arranging viewings for our house. Leonard and his team looked after us.
23rd Nov 2025 (23 weeks ago)Buying or selling a property is something that most people do so infrequently that it is very difficult to know whether or not a different Estate Agent could have done a better job. Could they have sold it quicker? Or for a higher price? I will never know. But my flat took many months to sell and eventually did so at a price that was 10% lower than its value so I will not be using Delmore in the future.

Jonathan was readily contactable throughout the entire process and his advice/guidance was incredibly valuable. I would have no hesitation of using them again should I decide to sell in future.

Although a High Street office she’s always there 24/7, wouldn’t go anywhere else!- 20th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)--- ?????????? We had a great experience with Slater Hogg & Howison in Glenrothes. Scott came out to value our home and was honest, realistic, and clear in his advice, which we really appreciated. Anna Kaylin and Lindsey were also fantastic—friendly, supportive, and always ready with sound guidance throughout the process. Lindsey gave us sound advice when we hit a snag with our buyer and this advice was spot on. Their professionalism and approachability made everything feel straightforward and stress free.

6th Feb 2023 (3 years ago)If it was possible, I'd have given Abbey Forth zero stars. Here's my experience with them: The place I rented from Abbey Forth had not been cleaned when I moved in. It was in a disgusting state with several broken fixtures. I took many photos and informed them that, because I was having to clean my new flat, I wouldn't be paying for the place to be professionally cleaned when I moved out. Throughout my year at the property, they were unprofessional and unhelpful when other problems arose: trying to charge me for boiler repairs (a boiler which was leaking on day 1), failing to resolve a drainage issue outside the kitchen door and, worst of all, falling to resolve an infestation of slugs in the kitchen - an obvious health hazard. When I moved out, they unsurprisingly tried to deduct £190 from my deposit for cleaning. I successfully disputed this charge with the deposit scheme, using the pictures and emails I'd sent them over the length of the tenancy. The deposit scheme found that, as the property was not cleaned to a good condition for the start of the tenancy, that I should only having to pay £60 In summary: Abbey Forth is the worst estate agent I've ever used. Rude staff and a general ethos of trying to squeeze money out of tenants for as little effort as possible. Only sign up with them if you are desperate and have no other options. If this is the case, then please make sure you document everything for inevitable struggle to get your deposit back

This is our second time in 3 years using their services for two very stressful house moves. Lynsey dealt with everything so efficiently and explained everything clearly. I cannot recommend this Company / Service highly enough. I would not hesitate to use them or recommend to others. Thank you again!

They were accommodating and worked around our lives with two young kids when it came to viewings by their viewing agent. Selling even achieved above home report value with the well advertised and pictures taken. Provided recommendations for solicitors and surveyors they work with too. Would thoroughly recommend and will use again for future moves.

9th Jan 2026 (16 weeks ago)Administration of the property leasing old school, no silly apps and speak to people which is great. However that’s where the good part comes ends. The problem is the inspector and the property manager. Poor landlord is suffering the consequence, a lot of inconsistencies in what they are saying to both parties, as is the poor tenant that relies on them To make matters worse lettings manager ignores complaints rather than properly investigating. Even after council report, no acknowledgment of issues. What can one do?

From start to finish, the service was completely personalised and nothing was ever too much trouble. Everything was handled so quickly and efficiently, which made what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and straightforward. Kirsty’s communication was excellent — she truly went above and beyond at every stage and kept us informed and reassured throughout the whole process. Gavin was so down to earth and friendly, which made what can be a stressful experience feel much easier and more personal. The marketing package was exceptional, especially the high-quality photography and the drone footage, which really showcased the property and set it apart. Thanks to their hard work and expertise, we achieved an offer above the asking price, which exceeded our expectations.
