A different story to previous stays. Sadly our written request at the time of booking about being near the road was completely ignored, we were last to book so apparently requests are ignored. Pitch 410 although apparently 'premium' is on a corner of 2 roads with a oak tree stump making access to pitch a tight one with the pitch next doors car restricting things. My partner is a lorry driver so he got it in there but I wasn't happy with road noise so went back to office. Managed after some talking to get a pitch away from road (you can see from the video there was plenty of space away from road) , it wasn't premium but much less noisy. It should not have been that hard - a call ahead of time would have given me the customer service I needed to have made this issue disappear. Not much to ask and would have erased this review.

Great, clean and quiet camping/touring place. Access to another site with swimpool and stuff if you stay here.
Facilities are great, lots of hot water whatever time of the day.
Take your levelling ramps as some pitches are not level.
Reception/shop on site, hot pastries in the morning if you order through the reception desk.

Top field is lovely and flat, lower field you need blocks/ramps. Some traffic noise, but acceptable and the main road is quiet at night!

Great camp site. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Nothing is to much trouble. Showers and toilets are clean. Good location for getting around. The shop is very reasonably priced. I was surprised. Normally, the camp shops are high prices. Even the wine was reasonable. Enjoyed our stay very much. Coming back in a few weeks. Would definitely recommend this site.

11days ... good facilities .. staff .. location ..this is our 5th visit and reluctantly a 3 star rating due to poor condition of over used grass pitches .. it rained and mud patches were a problem .. luckily we didn't bring an awning .. it does need sorting out ..

Nice pitch met a few friendly campers. Toilets mostly clean , cleaners come by often. There was no anti social behaviour atal for the 4 days we stayed. Also in a good spot for places to visit nearby

We have just returned from a lovely break here staying on a corner pitch with some tree coverage which meant we weren't roasting in the tent. We had the ability to use the facilities at Shorefield Country Park while staying on a quiet park in a great position. Would recommend to anyone wishing to visit the New Forest.

Wow...well wot can i say...just got home 2day...my family stayed on plot 257....came with friends....1st reaction was what a beautiful site...our tent was under a tree...toilet block very clean...then there was the guys that went round checking,first class...very helpful....and especially the lady ( Owner in the shop....lovely..helpful..made you feel welcome ????

A lovely campsite although busy.
The shower block was clean with plenty of hot water and enough facilities for everyone.
Lovely pub, The Crown, a short 15 min walk away in Everton, the next village along. As you leave the campsite follow the quiet lane straight ahead. This then joins the busier village road but there is pavement for this bit. Yummy food and dogs are welcome.
Braxton gardens is a tearoom just opposite the campsite and is absolutely gorgeous, like a secret garden.
And then Hurst Castle is a 10 min drive in Milton on Sea. A good 2 mile walk along a shingle spit or you can catch a ferry. There's a small cafe for a cuppa and snack. Well worth a visit especially the lighthouse keepers' exhibition.

Gorgeous site, very tidy and presentable. The pitches are well spaced, it's quiet and clean.
The highlight is the shop, probably the best stocked shop of any site we've been too, from food and drink to kids toys and essentials for camping.
There's a great range of little bits that you might need and having them all there on site, just in case is a great help. We needed some nail clippers to sort out a stubbed toe accident, they had one in the shop which saved a trip out, the convenience can't be understated.
The pizzas and breakfast pastries were excellent, the shop staff were lovely, it really makes a difference to the whole experience.

We have been to Lytton lawn now around 8 times. This place is amazing. The staff here are so friendly and welcoming. When pitching up, we had a bit of an issue with our chock. The warden was more than happy to help us out even though he had already
Finished his shift. Probably the friendliest person I’ve ever met.
We will continue to keep coming back here. Thank you for being the best campsite!

Do not believe the claim that it is quiet. The policy states absolute quiet after 10pm but it is meaningless as it is not enforced. We had two tents full of middle aged cyclists next to us last night and were kept awake with their talking and car door slamming until at least 12.30am

We camped here this bank holiday weekend, superb site, very clean, friendly and helpful. Easy booking online, very reasonably priced, it’s our 2nd time of using the Lytton Lawn site and have booked another Shorefield site for September. I would highly recommend this place.

Well what a gem of a site. Quiet, well kept pitches, fabulous toilet blocks with hot electric showers. I particularly liked the folded screens in the showers so your clothes didn't get wet. There was instant hot water for the washing up area, a games room, a well stocked shop and home cooked pizza and baked goods that you could order. The only criticism I would have is the hand dryers wouldn't pull a skin off a rice pudding but they did their job eventually.
Jane and Mark were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend this site to all.

This is a lovely little site reception lady friendly . toilets and showers clean and tidy , giving it 4 starts because my wife was in the toilets and a maintenance man just walked in and his attitude was quite off . Shame but he needs to brush up on his customer service.

Go there at your own peril. Lovely sight but had a run in with the warden on the second day for daring to ask if I could use the shower at 9am. He replied with if it wasn’t for the filthy scum who made it dirty it wouldn’t be ok. It was my partners birthday and we wanted to go out for the day but when I asked if I could just use one he was very abrupt and said I said no. I told him he was very arrogant and he told me to pack up and leave his site. I said I wanted my money back then and he said no way. It completely ruined the week, I stayed out of his way, didn’t use the shop incase I ran into him again.I complained to the manager but haven’t heard a word since. Several others couldn’t believe the shower blocks were closed all week at that time but he told another customer he had a lot to do. Funny how he opened them on the Saturday when a lot of visitors turned up. I think because it was very quiet when we were there he decided to close them. Still a paying customer. Never will I go there again or recommend.

Stayed overnight in November surprisingly busier than we expected for time of year for touring campsite. So stay was brief but would like to return and make use of the sister site facilities. Owner was very welcoming and friendly they offer a service whereby you can order breakfast baps/pastries for collection next morning. Toilet facilities are very clean. Good locations for nearby Milford on Sea Mudeford Lymington and New Forest. Will return.

This is the most wonderful place, clean quiet and people who stay usually have access to the sister site which has entertainment and swimming pools. There is a bus stop less than 5mins away to go to Lymington or Bournemouth. Great stocked shop and opportunity to order bread, pastries, bacon bap etc. We absolutely loved our weekend stay.

Such a lovely touring park. We’ve stayed many times and it’s a real favourite. Superb on site team. Great facilities- clean and well maintained. Nice pitches with plenty of space. Ideally located for walking into Milford on Sea or exploring further afield by car.

Only booked for 1 nite but ended up staying 4 nites .. the receptionist was amazing.. shop well stocked.. even can order breakfast rolls we brought sausages from the shop and very tasty .. toilets and showers lovely and clean.. peaceful site .. bonus having a dogs pen.. definitely worth a visit.. and we will be going back.. once again lovely staff

Stayed here for a couple of nights and couldn't fault it. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the toilet blocks are clean and functional and there's a camp store with a great selection of food and drink at reasonable prices.
Will definitely use this campsite in future.

Nice site, great location. Booked an eleven night stay early in January this year, apparently there was only one fully serviced pitch left on site, this happened to be pitch 419, situated under an oak and horse chestnut tree, although the site warden went out of his way to accommodate us we were told there was nothing else available, we had travelled from up north so definitely not in the position to argue. As the nights passed and people on the pitch next to ours came and went it became apparent that none of them had booked as early as January?? One of the the families had only booked a couple of weeks prior?? Very confused that I was told in January that the only pitch available was 419 Anyway we put up with the acorns and small branches falling on our caravan and awning. Despite also being told we were the first to complain it also become apparent from conversations we had with regulars that pitch 419 was an area that many regulars will not go on due to sap damage to awnings and the constant dropping of acorns and small branches. We made the best of a not so nice situation. On a positive note the showers were lovely and warm, the location was stunning and local gastro pubs fantastic. Unfortunately due to this and having no electricity for two days with no offer of compensation we'll not be returning.

Good location, £29 a night very cramped site which is really close together in my opinion. Good shop lovely staff very helpful reasonably well kept 1 mile walk to Milford on Sea 30 minutes to Bournemouth by car buses. End of drive but only one per hour so not ideal. Leamington was amazing. I would return but phone to make your booking, so you can request a good pitch that is not crammed in the middle

The camping and caravan site is very nicely located near Lymington, within good distance to many places of interest whilst still being in a nice countryside location. The site has great facilities that cater to the usual needs for caravaning or camping. As well as a shop, games room, children's play area, laundry space and collaborations with the local entertainment park for swimming and other family activities.
The staff were friendly and accommodating with any issues easily and quickly resolved.
Whilst the stay, staff and facilities were all great, parking seemed to be limited a little around the pitch area and if needed in the front car park. This wasn't by any means a major issue and wouldn't effect the majority, but should be kept in mind if you bring more than 2 vehicles within a group.
Additionally, the shower blocks are well placed, but on a few of the days the water temperature was quite low even when turned up fully. It didn't affect our stay but was noted alongside the addition of a bench or stool within the cubicle, however on this second point it is clearly due to the limited space within these blocks and is just something we have observed and liked at other sites. Neither of these affected our enjoyment of the site and generally it was a very pleasant stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights !!! Very pleasant little site clean and tidy . Great location to and from the new forest and Bournemouth ! Also right on the door step to a quaint little village Milford on sea !!! With great views of the needles !!! Lovely place for walks with the dog !!! I would recommend staying here !!

Pleasant enough with reasonably decent shower and toilet blocks, but we were right next to a VERY busy road which somewhat spoiled the "New forest/countryside experience". There is little in the way of safe spaces for kids to play as its a maze of roads inside the site, and the play park is beyond small.
We wouldn't visit this place again I'm afraid.

Just back from a week at Lytton lawn. I think we must have stayed the same week as some other reviewers below… as I agree… this year it was noisy after 10pm. Over my days though it was one particular group of chavvy friends who ruined it for everyone else by letting their kids roam about… and yes… shouting and swearing. Also over my days the toilet block was vandalised (repaired quickly) and the children’s games room also vandalised by a boy who stole money and toys from the gaming machine. Again though repaired quickly. I think the point to remember is… staff from the park have no idea when people book how they will behave at the park. The site is all geared up with rules and tries hard to make the communal experience a good one ie, wipe down towels for the sinks… squeegees for the showers… flannels in the washing up area… rules on noise etc etc. The park is all geared up for everyone and has it all really but as above… the ‘spirit’ of communal holidaying and communal respect is sadly lost on some. I actually felt really sorry for park staff who take pride in their jobs and work and in the park and do enforce rules which is a shame they even have to do but there you go…

Just returned from a long weekend here - the ladies in the shop and who met us when we arrived were lovely.
However, beware of Paul the warden! We had set up on Friday afternoon, and were done by about 2/2.30. But about 10pm in the evening, he was doing his rounds and came and questioned our setup. Bearing in mind, he had driven past several times throughout the afternoon. We travelled as 3 families and had 3 pitches next to each other and we'd placed 2 gazebos on one pitch- one for a kitchen and one for shelter. We asked him, why did no-one tell us/question what we had done during the day (as he had gone past!!). All we got was it's in the T&Cs. We apologised that we hadn't read the T&C's, all he kept aggressively saying is 'that's my fault is it', but said we can't move everything now! We had 6 children, from age 5-13. whatever we said, he came back with an aggressive response! He had had a run in with another family (so he told us) and he was 'fed up of people thinking they can do what they want', and seemed to looking for another argument. He told he would be back at 8am in the morning and we'd have to leave and he said he if wanted he could kick us off that night! There was the added issue that we thought we'd paid for gazebos but we couldn't find 'proof' that we had.
The next morning, a very nice lady came and spoke to us in a nice, civil manner and explained the issue of the gazebos - we went and promptly paid for them and had a nice chat with her.
We also had our small bbq in the gazebo - it was just hot ash/embers (no flames), for some heat. He laid into us about that - we apologised and moved it. As my sister in law got up to move it and said 'I'll move it now' - he questioned what she'd said and was rude to her.
We really wanted to say something whilst we were there but after the threat of being thrown off site, we left it as he didn't want 6 disappointed children!
As I said all the other staff were so lovely but sadly this one man was so rude (even as he was driving around on the Friday afternoon, before the 'incident', he didn't smile and acknowledge anybody. He certainly doesn't look like he enjoys his job.
It's a lovely little site (showers and toilets need updating) and the added bonus of using the swimming pools on the other site. However, due to what happened on Friday night then we won't be back.

Great place to stay. I cannot rate the staff enough. Infant we booked to return next year whilst staying there. Our 2 children aged 4 and 6 absolutely loved it. With use if the facilities at shorefield Country park we had all we could need. Can order freshly baked breakfast goodies as well as chilli on a weds and pizza on Fridays. Chilli was delicious. We didn't get to sample pizzas but smelt amazing. Highly recommend this place. On site loos and showers we immaculate and cleaned regularly.

De plaatsen zijn erg schuin.
Mooi afgezet met houten paaltjes. Sanitair erg mooi en schoon. De winkel is klein maar wel compleet. Er is dan de mogelijkheid gebruik te maken van de zustercamping waar een restaurant, zwembad(klein) en horeca is. De omgeving is erg gezellig en kasteel Hurst varend bekijken erg leuk.

We have recently stayed here for a week. We had a wonderful time from the moment we arrived We felt welcomed by the staff.
The staff are so friendly and helpful they can recommend lots of places to visit.
The site was well maintained the facilities were all very clean at all times.
We booked to come back next year for another week.
We also visited the other park to use the swimming pool both pools were lovely and the staff we spoke to were all friendly.
The facilities at the other park were fantastic.

Brilliant. Largish commercial site affiliated to Shorefield down the road. Spacious varied pitches, with or without electrics some shaded some open for caravans, vans, motorhomes and tents, great for families, quiet enough for oldies like us. Some slightly sloping. Easy booking, great welcome, good shop, clean shower block, use of Shorefield facilities if wanted. Superb access to Lymington, New Milton, Highcliffe, Milford on Sea. Minor down side, some pitches back on to busy Lymington Road but that's the numpty fast drivers, not the site! Good, fair price.

We arrived & was given a plot where when we opened the van door we was looking into a caravans window! We felt very crammed in. The people opposite were a nightmare, they came home & the music went & the language was really offensive & something you shouldn’t be subjected too, it stopped at 11pm. Next to us was a homeless man who said he was there for 21 days & at 6am he woke us as he left for work! As you can imagine the next day we packed up. We had to go back home which wasn’t good as been travelling round since end of May with no problems at any other sites.
The water to wash up in was lukewarm & the men’s shower was cold & they could do with a upgrade!
We definitely wouldn’t go back to the site or any of there other ones.

We stayed for 2 nights, lovely shop, toilets and showers. Games room, 30 minutes walk to the beach. With swimming pass to their sister sight, we walked the 45 minutes to and had a swim, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, all included in the pitch fee with electric hookup.

Second time here with our caravan on a fully serviced pitch. Lovely quiet and friendly site with extremely helpful and friendly staff. Site well maintained with a clean shower blocks, an enclosed dog field and dog shower. Very close to Milford on sea and other New Forest towns. Highly recommended.

Lovely break, the current owners have made so many improvements to this site, they delight in making sure that everyone staying there has the best possible time, they are to be commended for the effort that they make and quite clearly love what they do. Beautifuly maintained site. Very clean toilet blocks and love the glass door in the shower so your clothes remain dry and proper powerful shower, which can be hard to find in campsites! Lovely and quiet and perfect for walking in to the village and a little further to the sea front. The couple who run the site can't be more helpful even offering to lend a TV when ours broke!!! A must is the bacon and egg rolls which you can order for breakfast absolutely delicious. Loved it so much we have rebooked for the summer.

only two problems Internet is virtually zero at best poor unless you stand in one area by games room needs to be addressed urgently you either have it or you do not and in this day and age you should be supplying a reasonable Internet coverage on your site as it is standard item on a site in this day and age as much as the toilet block and no plugs for sinks in toilet block. why oh why have you not fitted the push to close and push to open plugs as they can not be stolen flannels are not hygienic and you would save a fortune on your water rates

Just coming to the end of a brilliant week at Lytton Lawn site. The site is lovely and the staff even more so, all work hard to keep the site looking it's best and are polite and friendly. We had a corner pitch 410 with plenty of room for our 26ft x 8ft tourer. The kids park and play room is brilliant for the little ones with plenty to do, the facilities tho a little dated were spotlessly clean. It's a short walk to the Beautiful Milford on Sea which is a stunning place. We enjoyed using the free use of Shorefield country park swimming pools indoor and outdoor pool only a short drive away 1.4 miles. Excellent site good pitches great staff good location couldn't really ask for more well done.

We began our touring adventures 5 years ago and our very first stay was at Lytton Lawn. It was a lovely stay. The area is beautiful with nearby attractions and access to the Isle of Wight ferry at Lymington. Not too far to travel to Christchurch and Bournemouth if you're looking for sandy beaches. We revisited about 3 years ago and the site management had changed. To say it had slumped was an understatement. We vowed we'd never stay again. With the effects of Covid and the staycation situation, we struggled to find pitches for the dates we could take. We took the plunge and booked Lytton Lawn. The management has changed from our previous visit - and we couldn't be happier. The site has been revamped, uplifted and enlivened by the wardens Jane and Paul - a husband and wife team. They are so enthusiastic, happy, cheerful, helpful and obviously thoroughly enjoy what they do which is reflected across the park. The once tired shop is now well stocked and inviting. Jane has worked tirelessly in developing guest experience as local food suppliers now visit during the week. There are themed events, pizza nights as well as freshly baked goods available daily to order. Paul has worked miracles on the ground upkeep and maintenance. The dog exercise field is now secure and clean and it's great to be able to let our naughtiest Jack Russell off his lead! Brilliant job, well done indeed!

This campsite was such a good find! The pitches are a really good size and are close to the facilities. The shower, toilet blocks and washing up areas were immaculate. The reception/shop was well stocked and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was quiet at night and had a cosy atmosphere in the day. We will definitely be coming back!

There are a lot of good things about this site. It is in a great location for Milford on Sea and the New Forest. The pitches are big and there are electric hook ups if you want them. The toilets are clean and there is an on site washing up area and shop. BUT the road B3058 that runs alongside the park is busy with traffic all day and even throughout the night cars will race past and disturb your sleep. To fully enjoy the campsite which is otherwise peaceful remember to pack some earplugs. There will be quieter pitches on the site I'm sure. Without the road this would be a 5 star review.

We had a fantastic stay everything was fab except for the WIfi we couldn't use it but maybe it's the forest what's at fault and not the campsite. We thought the showers were excellent clean and bright plenty of hot water cleaned throughout the day.The shops alittle pricey but for a few odd bits it's ok. There are supermarkets all around if your prepared to travel a couple of miles overall very good and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in the New forest. We also stayed on pitch 308 which had good facilities and plenty of sun .

Cannot believe this place is run by Shorefield as the contrast in facilities is astonishing to say the least! They charge the same price as other sites with MUCH better showers. Lytton Lawn is a really nice campsite in the heart of the New Forest. The pitches are quite big, the shower blocks kept nice and clean, there is a little play area for children, a games room and a dog exercise field. The shop on site is well stocked and very reasonably priced. The staff is super friendly, so overall a great place to stay when visiting the New Forest.
There is lots to see and do all around the campsite, Lymington with a nice harbour, nice shops and a big Saturday market, the Lymington to Keyhaven nature reserve, Hurst castle, Bucklers Hard, Christchurch, something to do for everyone and all ages.

This is a great little family campsite. It has basic facilities so don't go there expecting a bells and whistles site. It is clearly described with what is available. The welcome and staff were so friendly and helpful. The washing block was basic but clean with plenty of hot water. We have a very large tent and the pitch we were provided was more than big enough. There is a separate field for family ball games and we saw a dog exercise area too.
Campers have access to the larger sister site near by which has impressive facilities, bar, restaurant, pools and great arcade for kids (mums and dads, have your purse/wallet stocked!).
The site is in Milford on Sea which is a great seaside village.
We would happily go back again.

we decided to try a weekend in the new forest, in our oldie motorhome, litton lawn seemed just right . The staff were very friendly and help full we had a pitch nr to the facilities, we arrived on Friday lunch time, all seemed well and peaceful until Saturday 12 o clock and then it happened, a multitude of Van's,, tents arrived h was ok , but the dogs barking all day and through the night and early Sunday morning, we didn't get much sleep on Saturday, we were listening to the dogs and beer bottles being thrown in the bin and some very merry campers untill 1 AM we were awakened at six AM by the dogs and campers dismantling there igloo wikis, and they left at 11 am peace at last ,A great site great staff and very happy campers, Just dont pitch up close to the facilities, happydays Captain Nelson, and lady Hamilton,..

I had such a wonderful stay at Lytton Lawn. The service was impeccable, friendly and professional. I will definitely revisit. As soon as I arrived the warden helped me set up my caravan on the pitch guiding me in and helping me set up safely.
The layout of the site was wonderful...it's a small and friendly site. You can also visit their sister site which was really fabulous too and was located by the beach.

This is a good site which is a short walk from Milford on sea, which is a lovely village. Also close to the park. Brilliant for cycling and walking. The walk to Lymington is along the coast, but is at least 8 miles and you may want to get the bus back.
I agreed with the review that the grass pitches are on a slope, but not so bad as your chokes won't make you level.

We stayed for 2 nights this week .. behonest it’s ok for short stay .. it’s clean and got clean toilets and there’s a little shop nice staff ..but that’s not the cheapest . They do pizza night and a chilli night. But I would save ya money and go 10 mins in town for food …. The on sight things are a bit boring my son said …and don’t help it’s poured down with rain every day and like mud swamp..we went to shorefield holiday park for a swimming was very good .. but if you need a taxi they charge a min of£12 each way (3 miles)

Afternoon guys , After spending three nights here at Lytton Lawn Touring Park I can say it is a pleasant camp site to stay at with good amenities and being in the middle of the new forest there are plenty of close by activities . There is a small play park , a games room for kids , close by toilets with showers etc plus a washing room . The pitches are of a generous size with electric hook up and close by water . A couple of things to note is that part of the site is by a busy road . one disappointment was where they offered freshly cooked breakfast baps etc and freshly baked pastries they had no vegetarian options for the cooked baps , this is a shame as this is quite an easy thing to address. But all in all a nice place to stay with great staff. ???? hope you enjoy the pics x ????

Lovely little site if you want something basic our kids were a little board age 10 and 13, but we were just there for a short stay.
Was clean enough, apart from busy times in the shower blocks. Could do with signs up requesting people clean up after they shower, all so felt drainage was not enough for shower when trying to clean up after yourself.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Ps. We were near the stream and eat alive by mosquitoes.

First of all this review is not about the lytton lawn park rangers they were fantastic and really helpful, very nice people, a credit to the company.
The site is no good in the rain.
Our pitch was very wet and boggy at times, the rangers did offer to let me move pitches but it wasn't worth moving the caravan and awning for the last few nights. I was very greatful of the offer for the other pitch.
We staying at the lytton lawn site and booked the holiday for the fact it had a sports field as our children love playing football, rugby and other sports.
We arrived to find the "sports field" to be a sloppy gras feild but the size was good for them playing sports.
There was a tent on there but we thought nothing of it, untill the very rude lady come out and complained that she had a child trying to sleep, quiet time on the site is 10pm and this was 9pm. So we left and spoke to the rangers who said we had full right to be on the feild but informed us that as of 2 days later the sports feild will be turned into a camping feild for tents. The kids were so disappointed as it meant we couldn't play our games. We now had to keep driving off site to find a park for the boys to play there sports. The reason this is a 1 star is not because of lytton lawn it's due to the absolute lack of customer service from shorefield it's self. I emailed them 10 days ago with no reply.
WE FEEL WE HAVE PAID FOR A HOLIDAY AND FACILITIES THAT WE DIDN'T GET!
It became way to crowded and the people staying made my mind up to stay going to France each year as they were not genuine campers. No camping etiquette at all (not lytton lawns fault)
I would highly recommend staying at a diffrent site and company in the area as shorefield don't have any interest in looking after or getting back to there customers

So disappointed as I thought because Lytton was owned by shorefield holiday park it would be really looked after instead the toilets and showers are so out dated cracked sinks and disgusting shower curtains which are so old and horrible . Then to top it all it says on the rules no more than 6 people to book we had 10 children 6 dogs all of leads plus I would say 12 adults drinking and singing till midnight they were asked to stop but carried on the next night the same . I think they should have a reasonable cut of time around 11pm as there are others people with children who would like some peace and quiet. Needless to say we won’t return and I am sure that the people all where this happened will think twice as well .come on shorefield sort this out

Had a wonderful weeks camping here.. The site is very well kept and very clean, staff very helpful and are available 24hrs. Our pitch did get a little muddy and the staff brought us rubber matting to put down.... Well sticked shop, laundry facilities, 2 toilet and shower blocks, children's play area, dogs allowed... Would recommend a visit.

A lovely campsite, with friendly welcoming staff.
Toilet and shower facilities cleaned regularly,
There is a shop on site which closes at 5 where you can pre-order freshly baked produce for the following morning.
We stayed in the executive pictures so had all services, very clean, well spaced and quieter, would highly recommend.
You also get membership to use their sister parks facilities about 10 mins drive, we used the indoor pool which we pre-booked, great addition to our weekend away.

The best welcome ever to a site which was very well kept with many amenities, only downside we had was the pitch we were put on was permanently shaded by trees, then it rained but after it stopped we had Chinese water torture from the water out of the trees. We would be prepared to use again but not under any trees, (pitch 209).

Great place to base yourself for a long (10 miles approx), but easy walk or cycle ride into Lymington which is very pretty and quaint. £8 to get a taxi back from Lymington if you can't face another 10 miles back! Went to Barton-On-Sea which was something and nothing. The walk from the site to Barton-On-Sea was really pretty though and made up for the disappointment. Site itself was very clean and the wardens were so friendly and helpful - it was well run. We found it to be a very relaxing place to base ourselves for our impromptu 3 night break. Thank you Wardens for making us feel welcome and for being so nice!

Oh dear. Will never consider coming back here, let alone recommending it. Unfortunately the security! staff think they’re the Gestapo. Never been spoken to so badly. If you entertain yourself outside of here you probably don’t see this, but try and enjoy yourself up to the 10pm noise off/go to bed time and you’re walking a tightrope with the ‘Rule Enforcers’. Put that alongside the fact that’s have no people skills and it makes it a rather unpleasant and fractious stay. Do yourself a favour, STAY AWAY. Happy camping.

DON’T BOOK HERE. They LOVE to exert authority. I’m a really positive reviewer but this place is AWFUL. Quiet time is 10pm and we were made to feel like naughty children at 9.59 on a Saturday night. We mentioned that we were aware of the rules and ‘we were on it’ with our alarms set for 10. the warden said ‘We’ll, I’m more on it.’ The next night we got told to turn our music down at 9.22 on a Sunday evening, nobody around us! We are 49 & 54 years old and have a Bluetooth speaker! Avoid this place if you want any fun in your life!

Stayed here over the weekend, and cant rate it highly enough.
Absolutely spotless in neat parking spaces (executive parking area), the showers, toilets are so clean and tidy.
The shop has just about everything you need to get you through what you might have forgotten
There's a separate exercise field for the dogs, distanced well away from children's play area. Best of all, there's a quiet zone of between 10pm and 8am, so everyone gets a decent nights rest.
(In the past weve seen other Camp sites that just dont give a dam, so long as theyr getting your money).
Highly recommend this touring site for a peaceful place to relax and refresh yourselves.

The site in places is very hilly, the staff are all very friendly, the facilities are very clean, you will need leveling blocks if your on the pitches at the bottom end of the site in a caravan or camper van.
The showers were amazing.. but could be to hot for young children, check first! The dog walking area was a suitable size!

Just returned from a brilliant stay at Lytton Lawns, the very warm and friendly ladies in the reception area(Jayne and Caroline) ,these ladies were so lovely right from the word go,cheerful,helpful and just generally really lovely.The site is ideally placed to Milford on sea, a walk through the fields and just along the main road and you are one very pretty village green, where you can sit,chat and enjoy the charm of it all, then just a few minutes walk and you are on a very clean pebble beach overlooking The Isle of Wight,what a gem,take time to look up the Shorefield site Lytton Lawns, very clean, lovely loos etc and consider heading their way,what a fabulous weekend we had with our friends, will go again.

This is probably our fourth visit over the years, and always enjoy ourselves.
The camping pitches are very spacious, the two toilet/shower blocks always clean and tidy. Showers great, plenty of hot water, hooks for clothes, towels etc and a shower shelf big enough to be useful.
Staff very efficient, polite and knowledgeable, especially about the local area. Also Covid was being delt with sensibly and we thought very efficiently.
Nice big dog walking area, and another area for a ball game etc.
Shop on site had all the basics, and a good selection of alcohol etc.
The surrounding area is lovely to explore, good walks and beautiful countryside, with plenty of places to visit.
It's great to see and use these more traditional campsites, where they cater for tourers, campers etc, and not have loads of static vans or lodges. We found it very good value, and a great atmosphere, and hopefully will return again next year.

At £46 a day for 2 adults, hard standing with EHU, which included the VAT discount made this the most expensive site we have stayed on. The site is AA4* and sits on the boundary of the NFNP, a few miles from the seaside and a selection of beaches.Lots of places to visit, cycling and walking possible from the site. Covid 19 was managed well following government guidelines. All the facilities are open including the children play area. Children playing around the site had no awareness of social distancing which is the responsibility of their parents/guardians.Pitches are well spaced but could be managed better with the parking of vehicles close to other pitches. We had no direct contact with site staff although regular cleaning of facilities could be seen taking place.We used our own facilities so can not comment on the sites shower block. We did not enter reception or use the shop. The B road to Milford on Sea runs along the edge of the site we were on pitch 409 which is close to this very busy road with constant vehicle noise, the rest of the site is much quieter, so perhaps a discount for those pitches in the low 400 hundreds. The fence directly behind our pitch was in need of attention and bowing, making it a tight fit to connect our hookup to the electric post; which was also in need of attention. It was great that the site was fully open compared with the NF campsites managed by the CCC which are remaining closed until 2021. This enabled to get way for the first time after easing of lockdown. In this alone value for money.

We have just had a lovely 16 night stay in a tent. The tent pitches are big. Enough for a family size tent and a space for a vehicle. The staff are really pleasant and helpful. The cleaning regime for the facilities was brilliant. Because of the Covid they are cleaning 4 or more times of the day. Face masks need to be worn in the shop and the toilets. I used the washing machine it was £4.50 for a wash. It is a perfect base to explore the surrounding beaches and the new forest. We had a lovely stay and will return. They are very popular. I would advise to book early.

Returned after a 2 night break in our motorhome. We last stayed over New year and can the improvements that Nick and team have worked tirelessly to upgrade the site. We unfortunately had a problem with our van sun canopy and Nick was so helpful, helping us get it away and securing for us so we could drive home. He really went out of his way to pity Nick is leaving, he will be a big loss to Shorefield sites

A great little campsite. It is dog-friendly and has a (small) park for little ones to play in. A slide, bridge, pole and some benches. Dogs have a mini field and a play area for kids who want to play ball games, and no dogs are allowed in that part. The only downside is some of the pitches are small and in winter/autumn most of them get muddy from wet ground and tire marks from cars a clearly visible. Overall very good for a small campsite

3 night camping stay. Pitches were good size and electric hook up was not far away. Able to park car on pitch which is always helpful. Onsite basic shop with basic hours.
Tesco some 5 minutes drive away to keep topped up on all needs. Showers and toilets were clean and showers were really good. Local Shore field park is 7 min drive away and has access for all visitors to outside and inside pool, bar and restaurant.

Nice big pitch but ground was uneven with a big dint where previous wheel must have been which meant a massive puddle under our tent after the rain.
Check out time of 10am is frankly ridiculous and unrealistic.

We had booked our caravan trip for last Sunday-Wednesday. I rang them on Thursday to let them know that I have been having some pains in my pregnancy and have been told to stay close to the hospital - so if possible can we please move our holiday to ANY other time. They didn't get back to me until today - conveniently AFTER our booking was finished so even if I wanted to give it to someone else or maybe have gone for just one night it was too late. I have stayed all over the world and I am sure any other caring and reasonable establishment would have let us re-arrange given the circumstances rather than just regurgitating their cancellation policy. I am also sure they let out the pitch to other campers and would have easily reimbursed their money. A VERY GREEDY campsite and company!

Just returned from two nights here. Great location, site is clean and has good facilities... Showers are great and hot water a plenty. Pitches are big and access to hook up points for each pitch as far as I could see. Only niggle was the location to a busy road.. So late night traffic sometimes wake you up especially with noisy motorbikes... Apart from that great place and I would return

We dont go for proper, organised sites like this, we tend to prefer smaller fields with less people and noise however even though it was full, it was silent at night. Highly recommended.

Campsite pretty good. Beware of being pitched too close to the washroom. People forget how noise carries at night. Beware the hand dryers from the mens toilets. And the light from the chemical disposal room.!!!
Shut the door past 10pm and ask campers to think about the noise!

After reading the reviews I was looking forward to staying at Lytton Lawn. The park itself is tidy. It was quiet which was nice and is located in a lovely area. I think the only negative I had was the cleanliness of the showers and toilets which is important. They were very poor. The floor was muddy/dirty, toilets were dirty and just looked like they needed a good clean. I’m guessing they are cleaned once a day but with the volume of people staying this should be more. It’s a shame as the site is nice. I

I really don't think this site warrants the price they charge. £170 fri night to Monday morning. The dog field was also being used for
a playing field not easy to let the dog run free. The toilets were dirty no mop to clean the shower area asked why and said they've had complaints about having a mop. On leaving the toilets were so washed with water and dirt I complained. Also gun shot from a gun club on a Saturday morning bang bang.<br/>Last minute booking for us you learn by your actions .will not return. 1 star is for the location to Milford on sea. ????????????

Great place to stay. Great customer service from booking to staying. Had a group booking and we're given a great area to be together for my sons 30th..Good size dog exercise area and playing field. And the kids loved playing in the wooded area and by the stream. Definitely will be returning

It's a great place to stay we have been coming since 2006 but the price for hard standing only at £44 per night Over Easter is quite frankly taking the ......!!! Just had a family weekend away here I booked it after reading the good reviews, how wrong were they. Ok the staff were friendly on the phone but they didnt like cleaning the toilet block, or replace the toilet paper, the shower mop bucket was black mud, the showers were disgustingly dirty and the water was cold. As to say I wont be returning

Have visited Lytton Lawn & Shorefield for many years now. We try to go once or twice a year. The children have so much fun at Shorefield. They put on lots on entertainment for the children. Food & drink is expensive though.

Really nice little site. We booked in just for an overnighter with our T6 mainly to try out our new awning. The staff in reception were extremely friendly and helpful. The pitch was a good size. Toilet block was warm and clean enough. Washing up area a bit dirty but did the job. Nice little play park for younger children and a games room with pool table, table football etc. There's a small field for kids to play and a separate field for exercising dogs. Included in the price for camping is membership of the nearby leisure facilities with a pool, steam room etc. Really good value. A short cycle ride to Keyhaven where you can walk along the spit to Hurst Castle or keep riding to Lymington along a cycle path.

What a poor site even the premium gravel service pitch are to small get a twin axel caravan on. So the back 5 foot of the caravan was on th grass. We could not put our awining up. Very dirty toilet block. Never go back there again.

Initially we were very impressed and asked if we could stay an additional night. It transpired that this was not possible as, on arrival, the staff had put us on the wrong pitch. The staff were extremely rude, suggesting it was our error & were expecting us to move to the correct pitch when it came to our last night, with 3 young children and a full sized awning we were not prepared to do so when it was Lytton Lawn who had made the mistake.
Later on in our holiday we had failed to extinguish a BBQ straight away, we had not seen the signs to do this. When a member of staff came up to us to ask us to put it out, once again they were extremely rude & Laughed at us and told us we were 'big men'. I have never met a lady so rude. If you are going to run a camp site you need to know how to speak to your guests, it was completely unnecessary. It's a shame as the rudeness of the staff has prompted me to write my first ever review. I can safely say I will never be returning to Lytton Lawn!!

It is very basic. We are parked very close to the main road and the traffic noise is quite intrusive. ( there are other pitches further from the road )The children's play area is very small and the games room is also very small with only one game actually working. The cost at £47.50 a night for our motorhome is to me very expensive. The shop is very basic. The toilet and shower block is adequate. The staff are very friendly.
This isn't a site I could recommend.
The last site we stayed at had a bar, restaurant, good shop, toilet block, showers, loads of space, games room, children's play area, was quiet, beautiful location and was £20 per night.

Its October and the pitches are a little muddy but that's to be expected at this time of year. The site facilities are really good and the staff are welcoming. You can also use the swimming pool at the sister site which is included in the price. They also have a dog exercise area which is a good size.

It's a OK place, but could do with a update, showers are either boiling hot or off so be warned if you have young ones.
You have free use of the facilities at there other static caravan park there a swimming pool and bar and arcade which is better for the kids but you have to travel 10 mins to get there.

My partner and my brother and his partner and me stayed here it was a lovely time the toilets and showers were so clean and the washing up area. A loverly site for camping and caravanimg with no wooden huts everywhere. The site enjoys large pitches on a slight slope. There is two toilet and shower blocks and whilst the shower cubicles in the one block are quite tight they are clean and have plenty of hot water without having to push a button every ten seconds. There is a well stocked shop at reception and if you need entertainment it's possible to visit the nearby site at Shorefields as part of the package. All in all a good seaside site well worth a visit.

We really enjoyed Shorefield. The setting for the caravan was nice and it is in a great location to visit the local area and explore further afield. The swimming pool area was good but could have done with a spruce up (I find this is typical for all these kinds of places though) and the water was certainly warm enough for us and our little baby. The food in the club was robust and on the deep fried side but certainly filled us up.

Great site never fails to be clean with good facilities, a well stocked shop, good facilities (on site showers, mains hook up and well kept pitches) and friendly staff. Don't forget that you can also use the great facilities just down the road at Shorefield Country Park that include a swimming pool.
Have been coming back here for years both out of season as a childless couple and in season as a family (as many as eight adults and four children in the group). It offers incredible value out of season and we'll be coming back for many years to come.

A great location within the New Forest. The site was quiet and relaxing, with good size pitches and all services provided without any issues. Friendly staff, who were happy to provide advice and local information. Not much for kids on the site, but a five minute drive away was the sister static caravan site which has a nice indoor pool and plenty of other leisure facilities, which are all included in the price.

Fantastic Place, Great Facilities, on site shop, Games room, child's play area, nice Quiet Tent and Caravan site. cheap Price includes Electrical hook up. BBQ's are allowed on site. quiet time starts at 11PM however no noise issues were to be had throughout the day.
Group booking is also welcomed!
If you suffer from hay fever, be sure to take along some medication to prevent it.
