Just wanted to thank Boyd Kelly , and his team at Haart in Northampton for the hard work and endeavour they put in to help sell my fathers house. A process that included lockdowns, buyers pulling out and viewing restrictions .After 10 months since the first contact we exchanged and completed on a sale that would have taken 4 weeks max in normal circumstances . They were always professional and couldnt do enough to make us at ease and explain every issue ( shout out to Lewis for the constant phone calls he answered ) or obstacle encountered . Great team to deal with , would highly recommend.

Working with Heart and especially with Daniel Jolley and Ali was an absolute pleasure! They were very helpful, we got the property within a week after seeing the house, the process was smooth and fast and they were always helping us with any questions we had. I could not recommend them more! One of the few good letting agencies that can be found in Northampton!

My point of contact at Haarts Leicester was Kieran Pattni.. I was disappointed to learn he had moved to Northampton as I had found him to be most helpful on several occasions when I needed help resolving issues concerning the property Haart's manage for me. Kieran was not , as I am aware of, specifically assigne to liaise with me regarding the tenancy but he always proved to be available and acted promptly and efficiently to resolve any issues that arose. Indeed, I would go as far as to say his attitude was exemplary and he is an excellent employee of Haarts. I am sorry to lose such a valuable contact but wish him well in his future career.

Although I have had some teething problems with communication overall my experience has been good. The Property Manager Helen Marvell has always maintained good communication, clarified any queries or questions I have had and has resolved any issues also.
I am happy to continue using them to look after my property and would probably use the company in the future should I consider selling also.

James from haart showed me around. He was very informative, helpful polite and friendly right from the first point of contact. James arrived ahead of time which meant I didn't have to waste time waiting for him. He informed me when he was leaving the office, which I liked, and I was able to track him on What's App. His appearance was smart and professional. He was happy for me to take my time looking around the property to make sure it was the one for me. He was very helpful with the questions I had to ask and very helpful with things inside the property. He told me about the local amenities and where the parks were. When I arrived home I received text confirming the information I had asked about. I was very impressed with the whole viewing experience with James. I give him 20 out of 10. Thank you James.

Having called around a few local estate agents I found that haart really have great customer service. I felt no pressure at all. We haven't been rushed or hassled. It's just been smooth! Your colleague Ben is a true asset to your Northampton office. He has the exact tone and manner required to deal with people. I'm not sure that he knows it himself. But we felt very comfortable with him as representative to the house we were viewing. Should this review help others to choose haart? Absolutely yes! Give these guys a shout, very down to earth yet professional people

Initially was very difficult to get a viewing. Called multiple times and no answer and the agents only agreed to let us view on the day 1 hour before viewing time slot. Luckily managed to make the appointment a little late with such short notice. However, after the viewing the transaction went smoothly with the agents staying in touch.

Our experience was very positive despite a few hic-cups. The manager, Darren Reynolds and Mr Mohammed Ali, were the shining light for us. They were both brilliant for us. Nothing was too much trouble, I wish I could say the same for the rest of the company.
Despite a number of calls, I am still waiting for my bill. I wanted to settle it like yesterday,but still have not received it.

Shirelle has kept us informed of everything, liaised with our letting agent (who has beeen difficult) and our tenant and she has been instrumental in getting us an offer after only 10 days on the market.

Ali came round on Saturday, valued and took some brilliant pics of our home (he was very confident on the price, clearly good at what he does, very professional and we felt at ease with showing him our home) on Monday I had an email from Shirelle (who has been excellent from day one), they had already found a potential buyer, Tuesday we had an offer and accepted. We were really impressed by this and so pleased we chose Haart. We've had ups and downs with our buyer up to exchange and the only thing I would now change is the buyer but Haart cannot help this as they can only go by previous experiences with our buyer. I just hope that Haart do not continue to use this buyer as it was such a stressful sale. Holly worked really hard to resolve issues that came up and communicated with us exceptionally. Not forgetting to mention Josh who we also liased with at times who was very professional and always helpful! Thank you to you all at Haart! We got there in the end :-)

Having recently let my property through haart with one tenant moving out and another moving in I just wanted to say what a painless experience the whole thing was, this was in no small part down to the Lettings team and in particular Tom Marshall from the Northampton branch who kept me appraised of the condition of my property throughout the previous tenancy and after they left. He was extremely pleasant to deal with and did exactly what he'd told me he'd do, when he said he would. Communication and service was excellent, friendly and timely throughout. I would highly recommend the lettings team to which Tom is a credit.

First and foremost..I would NEVER recommend Haart to anyone!
I was looking to sell my shared ownership property with them. Agreed a standard 12 week contract. The representative that was closing the deal promised me everything under the sun. Telling me they have buyers lined up right now, telling me this will be sold very quickly. In the whole 3 months I had a total of ONE viewing and I had to chase up for that! I apparently had a second viewing that never turned up and no one from Haart called me to let me know what was going on. I had to make the calls to chase this up. Their reply was they are getting in contact with the people who were meant to view and they will call me back to let me know. No call ever materialised just like every other time they stated they will call. No one ever contacted me to update me on any progression, it was me calling them for answers and it always seemed that when ever I had a viewing lined up (the grand total of twice) it was a result of ME calling them to see what is happening! The fees they charge are astronomical and they expect to get these fees for doing nothing at all. I called them up and told them I was leaving and guess what..I got a call (4 days later) to discuss this. I told them it is off the market and they threatened me by saying that I need to give them 16 days notice even after my contract with them is up otherwise I will be liable for their feels as well as any other estate agent fees, should I sell my property in this time. I cannot believe how much this branch of Haart has no interest in customer satisfaction. Avoid them at all costs. Giving them one star is one star too much in my eyes! Diabolical service.

I recently used Haart to 'sell' my 2 bedroom Victorian terrace in Northampton which had been fully modernised including new kitchen, bathroom, carpets, and replacement double glazed windows, and as it was a Victorian property I also had all walls and ceilings re-plastered and decorated. In short a desirable first time buyers property that you would think any competent estate agent would be able to 'sell' in a market experiencing short supply of such properties.
After two false starts and 4 months of wasted time, which I considered to be down to the vetting of the buyer by Haart, foolishly I persevered with Haart and the third attempt was successful. However this took 3 frustrating months to complete, despite the fact that I used the Haart recommended conveyancer and the buyers also used the Haart recommended mortgage adviser and conveyancer, I was told by Haart that this would help things go smoothly??!!
Why frustrating, well other than not returning phone calls, promising progress call backs that didn't happen and completely ignoring my emails requesting updates (obviously Haarts were looking to reduce their costs?), the only time I did hear from them was on the day of completion. And this 'communication' helpfully pointed out they were requesting their fees from my sale proceeds held with the conveyancer!!!
Did Haart earn their money, definitely not, they had no interest in follow ups or helping the sale progress, after all they had the sale fee contract and why should they make any further effort, a short progress phone call to me costs them money after all???
Would I recommend Haart to anyone, not ever, Haart are the epitome of bad estate agency practice....however I have other properties throughout the East Midlands and as they have failed miserably this first sale test I guess my consolation is they will not be getting any more totally unearned fees from me!!!!
I believe I would have had no worse service from an internet only based sales agency and the advantage over Haart for me is that it would have cost me considerably less in fees, particularly as I was the one that had to make all the calls. They only get one star as this is the lowest possible for this review but in the reality of my experience and feeling this is one too many!!!!!
