Because I was out of the country they agreed to do the viewings. The first two prospective purchasers were turned away because they had no one to do the viewings. They advertised as a Crieff estate agent and have an office there. It never seems to be manned and they did not even manage to get a picture of the property in that office's window.
Communication was non-existent. No answers from the main given point of contact. Eventually on phoning I find she had left the company. ... Read more

The agent new the local market inside out and that was the main reason we picked them to do the job for us. The property was placed on their "coming soon" page. We had and accepted an offer before the For Sale sign was up. This does not suit everyone but it did for us. No more big smile home showings!! They know their business. Forget these "free" or almost free offers. Nothing in life is free! ... Read more

Extremely disappointed by the professionalism and methods of the sales team from Next Home.
Turned up at viewing on Thursday night to a property we were extremely interested in. On discussing with the agent we were informed that there was already one offer in, and the client will be looking for at least the asking price. We were also informed the they would be advising the client to go to Closing Date.
Being extremely keen on the property, we submitted our offer first thing the next morning, which was substantially higher than the asking price. Unfortunately our solicitor was informed that our offer was rejected due to being too low and they were still advising the clients to go to closing date. Both my wife and solicitor in speaking to the agents made it clear that we were extremely interested and were willing to go higher, but we were given the impression that the clients had yet to receive an offer large enough an they were following the advice of going to Closing Date. We left it for the evening in the understanding that if any movement was made we would have been given a phone call opportunity to act.
Imagine our surprise to wake up the following day to see the house is sold. No phone call to state had received higher offer, no opportunity whatsoever. When called to ask, the response was simply that they had followed the client instructions. Now i understand that has to be the case, but is your client aware that there were people waiting willing to increase their own offer?
Standard practice when selling property, would be to ensure you are getting the best deal for your client. A call back to interested parties to state there is offer on the table and client is considering would be normal. Annoyingly this time around, this property was meant to be for my family and not as an investment, so we are extremely angry at the handling of this sale.
Be interested to see in coming months when sale price is posted, as if is less than we would have offered i will update this review. I only hope for your clients sake that they have offered more than we could.
Also awaiting call back about booking valuation for marketing my own family home, that won't be happening with Next Home, seeing the handling of sales.... Read more
