Old fashion estate agents. I wouldn't sell with them. We had a valuation from them and when I said the charges for the service was too much they were practically halved. Also viewed a house through them and there was no support for the poor couple. I called the agent to say how it went . I'm surprised they sell anything to be honest... Read more

Wouldn't recommend unless your happy to be harassed for your rent before it's due and have your deposit not protected. No repairs carried out. This company is a joke I feel sorry for the employees and can see why it has a high staff turnover.... Read more

I would never rent through North Kent Estates again! We had to threaten to take action in order to get both our deposit and rent paid in advance returned to us (this was at no fault with the landlord though, he was very helpful). I feel sorry for the girls in the office because their employer Rob is an absolute waste of time and is arrogant and puts the blame on everyone else apart from himself. The one star I have given is for the staff, minus Rob, because they're all absolutely lovely and helpful. Rob clearly has no concept of how to run a business properly and in a professional manner. If you're a female don't even bother contacting him because he's a chauvinistic pig and was extremely rude on the telephone when both myself and my partner contacted him. Although I sent Rob several emails, not once did I get a response despite asking for confirmation that he was both receiving my emails and that they were being dealt with.... Read more

I recently sold my house through North Kent Estates. A friend recommended them to me, this person having dealt with them in the past. I was a little apprehensive because my house was in Hertfordshire and I did not see how a Kent based agent could be effective. I agreed to a meeting and free market appraisal. Following discussions with North Kent Estates and understanding their marketing approach I was confident that they could sell my house. A purchaser was found within 2 weeks at a figure in excess of my expectation. Matters proceeded smoothly to completion and I cannot thank North Kent Estates enough for their professionalism and dedication. Have just completed on a house that was up for sale with North Kent estates. They were absolutely brilliant! After 6 months of house hunting, houses falling through and dealing with lots of estate agents North Kent were by far the most professional I came across. They had great communication, they called when they said they would, they were approachable and always on hand to help with the process.. From day one I found Rob and his team extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Admittedly I was a demanding client, but Rob never failed to impress and communicated brilliantly throughout the process. First impression was good, they had my property on the market within the day. However, contact was only there if I contacted them first. Once I had made contact they did respond very quickly. I found the owner of the company to be very arrogant and rude and very defensive. I did have to remind him at one point that I was paying him! I would not use them again, not because they did not sell my property as I know there were underlying issues but because of the service not from the staff but from the owner. From what I can gather from my tenant though she said the staff were very young and in her opinion not very well trained or confident in their role. ... Read more

Sadly this service was far from what I was expecting. Arranged for a photo taking session to happen today in order to let my property however know one ever arrived! I made a special trip home to meet Elle and I was just left waiting for 30 minutes before I decided to leave. I have tried calling North Kent Estates several times today however no answer on their office line! Not great and I would never use again. Having just finally managed to get hold of the owner of the business Rob. There was no apology just a series of excuses! I would definitely not recommend this company nor would I use them again either as a Landlord (which I am) or a tenant. APPROACH WITH ABSOLUTE CAUTION!... Read more
