Literally said "yes, that's how it works," to my question, "you can ignore repairs, no matter how serious and break that clause in your contract but we still have to pay rent in full or risk CCJs?"
Absolutely awful people that couldn't care less about the well being of their tenants or landlords. I am now moving out of one of their properties due to a serious maintenance issue (a leak that has been present but never dealt with in the 3 years I have lived in the property, with exception of the contractors occasionally resealing the bath... No work on the pipes) that has caused structural damage and affected both my mental and physical health. But what can I expect from an agency that just took four months of pestering before they would fix a damn toilet seat?
What you can expect from Nurture is threatening behaviour, underhanded attempts to evict you without your knowledge (yes, a council representative visited and found a form which they had claimed was a simple repair notice and was actually the first stage in evicting us), incompetence, a lack of communication between the departments (which makes no sense given that Nurture consists of four people according to their own contractors), and the refusal to undertake important repairs unless they are within budget (despite taking a huge profit on rent, tenancy renewals and management fees).
I was supposed to be signing a contract to remain in the property until February. Two new tenants paid a substantial amount of money for this new contract, however we have heard nothing from the agency regarding this contract OVER FOUR MONTHS AGO. This means two new tenants were unable to move in, and myself and one other tenant have had no choice but to cover the FULL rent amount ourselves despite Nurture being at fault for this.
They are charlatans. They haven't a clue what they are doing or how to manage properties and they certainly don't care about the well being of the people living in their properties. The only thing they care about is the money they receive from the properties they manage, and sometimes the only way to get their attention is to deny them that money. They are happy to completely ignore you provided they get their money. Blood suckers, charlatans and all around terrible people.... Read more

Worst estate agents I have dealt with. Liars and do not pass on information to the landlord. The property had a lot of issues to be dealt with for years, however they did nothing, despite the thing that they were informed a multitude of times and we also went to their office multiple of times. Didn't want to give our deposit back either as the property was untouched for 8 years by landlord as he was unaware of the issues at the property, so we had to fight for our deposit at TDS. Thank God TDS exists and we won our deposit back as Nurture arguments were laughable. Stay away as far as possible from them, seriously. They will make a nervous wreck out of you.... Read more

Nurture are Cowboys that should be on watchdog! I’m a landlord that has been taken for a ride. I had a tenant that unaware to me was totally trashing my property. I would call Nurture every few months to check up and I was told everything is fine. I live over 200 miles away from the property so had to trust Nurture on their word.
One day I receive a letter from my tenants solicitor saying i’m being taken to court. This turns out to be 17 months into the case & many letters had already been sent to Nurture, which I was never told about. I dug a little deeper and Nurture were aware of the situation and for some unknown reason did not inform me.
It’s cost me tens of thousands to resolve this and Nurture still deny any wrong doing. I contacted the TPOS with all my evidence and was awarded a small payout from Nurture but I was still well out of pocket.
Stay clear of Nurture! Landlord or Tenant you will have a very horribly experience. They have now restructured with a new team and directors but these are just as bad. 7 weeks and still have a faulty boiler & an unhappy tenant.
It’s a joke that honest Landlords get stung like this, but cowboy companies can continue to do business without consequences and the law catching up!
If you have used Nurture in the past. Please, please take 2 minutes to leave a review, good or bad as people need to be aware or what they’re dealing with.... Read more

They didn't get back to me once! I'm in debt because of this company! Almost dropped out of uni due to the stress caused! Very selfish, heartless people! They should get shut down!... Read more

I was lumbered with these people for years before they handed admin of my home over to Berkins. They're shocking - nothing gets done, everything is your fault, they lie, they don't get in touch for ages then suddenly want to do inspections every so often and make it out like they've done it the whole time (in writing, of course), they never reply to emails, and they expect you to live with stuff like bees in the guttering or blinds held together by string!
