From our initial viewing, to offer and finally completion they were brilliant to deal with and kept us informed at all times. We were in a particularly long chain, without Julie’s efforts in keeping the momentum going, I doubt we would have been able to complete. Highly recommend

30th Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)We recently started searching for a rental property and found it on our first viewing with Bridgfords. Saj, who was conducting our viewing, was wonderful. For the duration of our contact with Saj, he has been nothing but helpful, friendly and prompt. He has made, what should have been a stressful process, a really enjoyable one. We didn’t have contact with the rest of the Bridgfords Altrincham team but if Saj is any reflection, I can only imagine they are all brilliant.

12th May 2025 (4 days ago)I bought my apartment with Gascoigne Halman and then 4years later have used them again to find a tenant for the property and I cannot fault the service they provide. Chris and Katie really listened to and catered for all my needs when putting the property on the rental market and have found me the dream tenant. I’m so glad I left it in their safe hands.

7th Feb 2025 (14 weeks ago)Please do yourself a favor and avoid this agency. I relocated from Liverpool a week ago, expecting the property to be habitable. Unfortunately, I encountered a series of major defects, including no proper heating, plumbing issues, and serious cleanliness problems—the driveway was full of moss and mold. Additionally, there were rats in the garden, an issue previously reported by neighbors and past tenants but never addressed. Relocating is already stressful, but dealing with these unresolved problems, especially after being misinformed about the rat infestation, made it even worse. I was told there were no rats, yet they were still present in the garden. The agents are polite when speaking, but despite my repeated calls and reports since day one, they have taken no action to resolve these serious issues.

6th May 2025 (10 days ago)Saw a flat, with what looked like massive blood and other stains all over the carpet which had rips all over in terrible condition, asked if the carpet and other cosmetic painting and bits be done, landlord refused apparently very rude landlord so refused to sign, if landlord is this difficult at the beginning what's he going to be like when you're stuck in a contract, therfore lost my deposit ????
6th Aug 2024 (9 mo. ago)They made sure they notified me when the viewings would be taking place. Potential buyers were always accompanied by a member of staff who always made sure the property was secure when they left. My sales negotiator was friendly and helpful and easy to get hold of.

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

18th Dec 2024 (21 weeks ago)I recently had to sell mums house due to her going into care. It was the family home which she had lived in for 68 years so it was upsetting for all of us. I chose Locate because they are local and have a very good reputation and that reputation is justified. From the valuation to completion Kirsty and Jade did everything possible to make it as easy as they could for me. Communication was fantastic and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Thank you Kirsty and Jade you made a difficult situation more bearable.
