We moved to Cornwall a couple of years ago at short notice due to my partner's job relocating, so we had very little time to find somewhere to live. Many agents had cancelled our appointments during the journey down from Birmingham, so we walked into PDQ in desperation and they were the only company who went out of their way to help us find a home that perfectly suited our budget on the same day. When it came to our move day on 23rd December, we were caught up in a lot of traffic and countless diversions, so a move in that should've happened at 3pm was delayed by several hours. The agent gave up her evening and waited for us to arrive well after 8pm, they had a bottle of wine waiting for us (which by that point was VERY well received!) and she even checked up on us the following day on Christmas Eve to make sure we'd settled in. Since then, PDQ have been the agency we turn to and will always highly recommend.... Read more

Undervalued my property , didn’t bother getting back to me to say my offer on a property had been refused, didn’t tell me that had the keys for a garage I wanted to see even though they said they would ring when they received them. When i did get to see the garage asked me to give him all the measurements I was taking so he could send them to someone else who was interested in the property. Very rude about the agent I used to sell my property ( the biggest in the area) saying they had broken the law. And then had the audacity to ask me to do a ‘teeny weeny favour ‘ and review them on line. Well here you are , this is your review. PS in response to you response , I acknowledge that you did get back to me about my last offer but you did not notify my about the one before. Also you most definitely did accuse my agent of breaking the law , you said their action ‘was not strictly legal’. Yes we have achieved our asking price with another agent thank you very much. As for the ins and outs of the offer process I do not understand what you have written with regard tO the successful bidder. I do know that you said that offers had to be substantiated and i know that I therefore got everything in order before I made my offer. I was not given the opportunity to raise the offer and you did not contact me to ask for any clarification of funds. Also I find it somewhat irksome that despite meeting so many times, apparently after hours, you have failed to notice that I am a woman! PPS. Please do not try to mislead the public by using excerpts from my review to infer that your company has sold my property.... Read more
