We recently rented a home where Pillars Estate Agents were the landlord's agent. They did an excellent job of making the process as smooth as possible, promptly responding to our questions and queries and providing all of the background information that we requested. The portal that they use for signing documents and uploading reference materials is easy to use and intuitive, which took additional pain out of the process. In-person meetings with them have always been friendly and helpful. While I cannot comment on the services that they might provide to a landlord, I can say that it has been a pleasure working with them as a renter, and I would not hesitate to do so again.

We rented a property from Pillars and I thought they were fine at first - efficient and reasonably quick to resolve any maintenance on the property. When we moved out there were a number of areas 1) they used a different company to do the inventory than when we moved in and, surprise, it was far more detailed (and penal); and 2) we had a major issue with their interpretation of the contract - basically they thought they could do what they liked. A real shame but appears that they are very much 'landlord' friendly and i wouldn't rent from them again and instead stick to the larger rental firms.

Really impressed with the service at Pillars. Stephanie was very helpful and went the extra mile to make the process of re-letting at a particularly tricky time run smoothly. Always friendly, and was able to fit around my difficult working hours for calls / messages. Would highly recommend.

The best agents ever. Don't hesitate to contact them. Superfast administration (7 days between the first view and the move into the rented annexe), with a really helpful, kind and professional lettings manager Stephanie. Highly recommended!

I cannot praise Stephanie Puttick enough for her professionalism, friendliness and helpfulness. I have worked with many estate agents over the years, and Stephanie is by far the best I have come across. She is always on the ball, responds to any queries within minutes (in fact she seems to work practically 24/7 and will even respond to emails sent on her day off and Sundays). She also successfully manages the delicate balance between helping the vendor and the buyer: several queries came up from the home survey, and she managed to help resolve all of them without upsetting myself or the vendor, a difficult task. She was incredibly efficient and supportive throughout the process. She went well beyond the call of duty: for example, she provided me with quotes for new carpets from a very well priced supplier. Whenever I felt nervous about anything, she was reassuring and very proactive in coming up with a solution and taking away the stress. .In short, she combined great professionalism and efficacy with human warmth and tact. Based on my experience with Stephanie, I would have no hesitation in recommending Pillars to friends and acquaintances.

Excellent agents, in fact the best service we have ever had letting a house from abroad. Our house has been let more or less continuously, all issues have been addressed immediately and advice on issues like market pricing and other decisions seems to be spot on.

I must recommend Pillars for property sales. They found me a buyer within a short space of time and although getting to exchange was not without considerable difficulties, Mat and Stephanie worked tirelessly to ensure it was successful by keeping everyone involved focused, finding solutions and basically working hard to achieve exchange while at the same time ensuring I always had considered options. Extremely professional company. Thank you!

We rented out our house for 5 years with Pillars (full management service), and would absolutely use them again if the need arises. They are reliable, responsive and genuine in their service. They were always able to fix things in the house quickly for tenants, gave us good advice and we developed good relationships with the team. We were very pleased with the service and would not hesitate to recommend them.
