DONT GO NEAR THIS OUTFIT 8 months ago I was contacted by QT home about letting my house, The lady that come was quite pushy however I decided it was a good deal, QT homes then placed an individual there through a charity, this individual has caused my neighbours hell for 8 months,the police have been called out on several occasions and finally 2 weeks ago the seventeen your old was arrested and is still being held in custody rather unsavoury behaviour! This lead to a protest outside of my house by 20+ locals,I doubt he’ll be out anytime soon, QT homes failed to make sure I had a suitable tenant, failed to carry out proper council checks for C2 planning , failed to carry out the 6 month inspections and now I’m stuck with an invalid contract and basically squatters in my home with zero insurance cover. When I contacted QT about the desperate situation I was told we’re on holiday, so when they returned from their trip I was told that they would no longer be my agent! So now I’m left trying to get my house back, I’ve no idea of the state of it, KEEP AWAY FROM QT , they’ll take commission in this case 20% £500 per month and do virtually nothing if there’s an issue, I am today passing over my complaint to the Property ombudsman of which they are members in the hope that they will act!... Overall QT homes tended to fix issues when they came up, even if they used workmen who wouldn't lock the door back after them. However as it comes down to with most renters, what's important is how much more money they can grab from your security deposit at the end. Rented a property for two years. Moved in start of pandemic, so things such as painting after mould treatments weren't done. But I was told I could paint if I wanted. Painted one wall and never did the others. - they charged me for a painting and decorating fee when I left. As mentioned it was a relatively damp flat, where mould was always an issue that I lived with. However again when I left I was partially charged a cleaning fee for the state of the mouldy windows, and wallpaper coming off the ceiling due to the damp.... Read more

Mariam and Melissa at QT Homes really are a revelation and a breath of fresh air when it comes to estate agents. they are lovely, friendly people, but this aside, they actually also are expert professionals and get results. I visited the offices of QT homes today following a recommendation. I could not have wished for a more helpful, knowledgeable and friendly estate agency. I spoke to both Mariam and Melissa about the local market for a considerable amount of time and was very impressed with both the knowledge conveyed but also the fact that this information was so readily shared with someone who had no previous contact with QT Homes. I bought a house which QT Homes were selling. My first viewing was on the 23 January, and we completed on the 1st March. This is a huge testament to the professionalism and commitment QT Homes provide to their customers. Melissa kept me informed and updated throughout, so I always knew what was happening and what to expect. Melissa herself is fantastic, very friendly, approachable and professional. She allowed me access to the property on a few occasions so I could measure up and just check some final bits over. This really helped in the preparation to my moving. I'd had a bad experience previously with another estate agent where after nearly 4 months of constant battling, the deal died. So to use QT for the property I've actually moved into was a godsend. It was such a quick and smooth process, I am really impressed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend QT Homes for anyone buying or selling, and will certainly use them again in the future.
