18th Mar 2024 (8 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Happy to have also rented the purchased property out via Castle Estates and it was successfully occupied within a couple of weeks. Ongoing communication since occupation has been fantastic.

She explained everything throughout the process, was super helpful and would always respond to our questions. I would highly recommend anyone thinking of selling or buying to use the team at Scrivins (Hinckley).

Jai from the Lettings team worked incredibly fast in finding the perfect property for my family within just a week! His efficiency and attention to detail were impressive, and he had selected a home that perfectly suits our needs and is conveniently located close to my place of work and my daughter's school. I can't recommend them enough to anyone who wants a hassle-free and speedy home search. Great job, Jai! Keep it up!
2nd Nov 2024 (5 weeks ago)We were selling the house at a time when the market had been turned in its head. It was valued too high and when we moved to another estate agent we had to reduce it. It went for around £30,000 less than the original valuation. The quality of the images weren't too good and he seemed to whip around very quickly. He did return to improve on them. They were a friendly team and I couldn't fault them on this
7th Nov 2024 (28 days ago)Absolutely brilliant service. We will definitely use James at Bayzos to sell our property. He came out and valued it for us and the pack of information he put together was so detailed and thorough, it has given me confidence that he really knows what he is talking about. The service has far exceeded any other estate agent we have dealt with previously. We decided not to sell because of the current economic conditions... the timing just isn't right for us but when we do we will be selling through Bayzos. Highly recommend!

5th Jul 2024 (22 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
