Office manager at Sawyer's insisted on leaving a SOLD board outside my house for four months, after his colleague had courteously offered to take it down after a fortnight. The manager was extremely discourteous. I was not, by the way, selling my house at the time.
I am now. Within 24 hours, my estate agent's board had been vandalised. Something unpleasant is going on here. Be aware of it if you choose to deal with this individual. I am sure the owners of Sawyer's would be horrified by his attitude.... Read more

During an encounter with a discourteous woman who demanded information to schedule a level three survey inspection for a new Buyer, despite being informed that the other representative was unavailable, the request to book an appointment and the subsequent interrogation of the surveyor, who had limited information due to being responsible for surveying the property only, was considered unreasonable and nonsensical.
As a 12-year veteran of the surveying practice, this was the first instance of such absurd and unbelievable questioning on the phone.
To maintain a professional image, it is recommended that the firm either verify the caller's identity with the Buyer if they do not believe the phone call or request confirmation via email from the interested party.
If keys need to be collected, ID can be taken on the day (as most agents do request this).
Maintaining the highest level of service is paramount, and such unprofessional behaviour will tarnish the firm’s reputation; someone needs retraining in attitude and customer service or try an alternate line of work.... Read more

I tried to rent from them, they kept my deposit money for two years and only gave it back so that I’d remove my honest review. Do not use these people. They are not very nice in any way. They will keep your deposit if they can and are very rude in all mannerisms. Avoid at all costs. Honestly they took a deposit for a property and then refused to let it to me, I later found out, they had already rented it to someone else. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. These are not nice people and should not be in business in my humble opinion. Stay clear, use someone else.... Read more
