1. Alison either doesn’t know her head from her elbow, or is a pathological liar and only tells the truth when she makes a mistake. During the viewing, she told me she manages the property and is the landlord at the same time. Later, she turned and said she in fact isn’t the landlord but manages the property.
2. She’s useless, I reached out to her as couldn’t work out the heating and she was unable to advise, so I ended up having no heating on a cold winter night.
3. She nearly never answers the out of hours phone.
4. She never replies to emails.
5. Whenever I pop into the office, she makes me feel like I’m bothering her. On one occasion I came in and she yelled at me saying that she’s on her lunch break. At 3pm! And today I came in and she was on the phone, told me that she couldn’t speak to me as she was having a private conversation on the phone.... Read more

My personal experience with these guys was diabolical.
Can't belive I stuck it out for 3 and a half years
Never missed a month's rent
Whilst living in one of there property's the boiler leaked.
The landlady arranged for somebody to fix whilst I was on holiday abroad.
A pipe burst after the so called repair was carried out, flooded my flat and the flat downstairs.
The police had to kick in my door to turn the water off + the lady downstairs had to move out afterwards.
No offer of compensation for damage from the repair man's insurance.
The after care was none existent, the whole block of flats stank as the carpet was stagnent after sitting in water for a week.
Even had the cheek to say it was because I hadn't looked after it properly.
Was told it was a little damp in the corner and would dry out.
Had to sleep in the flat for 2 nights before i eventually had her remove it under duress.
Landlady was more concerned with getting a new kitchen, even told me the rent was going up
She came around and tipped water on the kitchen side and asked me to let it soak in for a few days before the insurance assesors turned up to make it look worse.
After the kitchen was fitted the workers expected me to tidy up after them (this was almost expected after all previous experiences including when I moved inthe oven was smoking as it was caked in soot + carpet trimmings left not just inside the flat but all the way down the communal stairs to the font door)
I complained and was served with a no fault possesion order (eviction notice)
They even tried to keep over half my deposit with light altered photos of the flat after I left, I was told that I had left it "disgusting"
Luckily the ajuducaters saw through all of it and I recieved 90% of it back (there was no way I was cleaning that oven again + it was 20x worse when I moved in)
Then the worse part......
Severn trent confirmed that my £1300 water bill was a deluge of water.
I gave the bill to frowens to pass to my landlady.
She had previously attempted to claim that that it was my responsibility because the boiler was trickling down the the outside wall when I had a shower and as I hadn't reported it straight away, I'd explained that severn trent had confirmed this it was a deluge........
They havnt paid it + It's affected my credit rating.
I won't go into the threatening behaviour I revieved when trying to reason with them as its exhausting.
This is the 1st step towards getting my water bill settled.
If I could sum the estate agents and landlady up in one word it would be

I am disgusted how Mr Markham was treated by Frowens and his landlady. The least she could do is pay the water bill (which was quite obviously not Mr Markhams bill) and give him his deposit back. To all future prospective tenants beware and avoid at all costs.... Read more

The overall experience is a mixed bag, with some notable areas for improvement. One key issue is the lack of effective communication, which has resulted in tenants not being adequately informed about crucial matters.
Friendliness among the staff seems to be hit or miss, as the communication style varies greatly. While some interactions are pleasant and accompanied by courteous emails, others can be quite the opposite, bordering on rudeness. This inconsistency is a concern.
It's evident that there's a need for staff training in conflict resolution, especially when tenants express dissatisfaction with the services they receive. Handling such situations with professionalism and empathy should be a priority, and the staff should avoid adopting a confrontational or discourteous tone in their emails or phone conversations. Striving for a more professional approach would greatly enhance the overall experience for tenants.... Read more
