I would never recommend this company to anyone, ever. Since moving in I’ve had nothing but problems and bad experience with them. Whether it’s the shockingly bad and unprofessional service they provide, the fact they will not communicate back, or them changing amounts on invoices from one invoice to another. The final nail in the coffin is when they have tried chasing up for a invoice that was already paid last year, and subsequent proof of payment was provided to show them. When questioning the discrepancy in the invoices, as has happened before, the man who runs the company is invasive and doesn’t respond to inquiries and talks down passive aggressively telling me that he doesn’t know how I don’t understand the bill. When he knows full well that he’s trying to charge again. I have had to escalate this to a ombudsman. Please I know sometimes you see are review and think ‘oh I’m sure they can’t be that bad’ but I promise you I have never known anything like Sorrell. I would recommend not getting involved with them. It isn’t worth being belittled, spoken down to or otherwise ignored when you try and defend yourself against invoice prices changing from month to month and defending yourself against an already paid bill... Rude & Dismissive. AVOID. I moved into a shared ownership property in 2018 which is unfortunately managed by Sorrell. My neighbours and I in this building have had severe condensation, damp and mould issues. I reported this to Sorrell in 2019 and they sent someone out to assess the mould. I was told to put certain measures in place and that the property lacked ventilation. I asked if i could fit an extractor fan in the kitchen, and if we or I could fit airbricks, or a vent, this was declined and when I tried to complain with 'Managment' Darren, he said the dispute is considered closed and my complaint got no where. Fast forward to 2021, I fixed the bathroom extractor fan as advised, bought a dehumidifer as advised, open windows as advised and the issue has still not improved. I was told as I warm the place up the walls will get warmer, but the property can not phsyically retain heat. I've expressed that I am worried about health issue caused by mould, and how it worsens my mental health conditions having to bleach my walls and ceilings everyday and my concerns for the enviroment burning so much electricity to try and warm this building up. Sorrell are meant to be responsible for external of the building and the structual side of the building. Sorrell have said in black and white that the issues are being caused by lack of ventilation, but are so extremely unhelpful when it comes to assisting with better ventilation and insulation & refusing to improve the buildings ventilation. I have spoken to my neighbours and we are all suffering from this, and this company literally do not care. The lady on reception was really helpful and lovely, but my dealings with Darren have been awful. He has been unhelpful, condesending and dismissive to someone who is only trying to resolve a real issue. Please avoid this company, if they don't take these things seriously it can affect peoples health and they clearly do not care about the planet as they'd rather us by lots of electrical items to fix the problem as opposed to doing something productive. The problem is uncontrollable. I have attached photos of the issue which sorrell have seen, I am extremely house proud and this isn't nice for me to post but I feel like people need to see what is being ignored here.... Read more

My experience of buying my new flat through Sorrell estate agents is most worthy of a review. I had lived in my previous property for over 17 years and the thought of home buying alone was quite daunting. Duncan Woods my estate agent was a credit to the profession, you hear so much bad press about estate agents but my experience was the complete opposite. I first saw the flat in November but did not have a buyer for mine so lost out to another buyer. Duncan knew that I was disappointed so when 3 months later the sale fell through he contacted me. I myself had a buyer and in March the buying procedure began, As we had just entered COVID19 lockdown the country came to a standstill. Not for Duncan and his team! The hurdles were many, Cladding certificates, slow solicitors and lack of willing visiting surveyors but throughout I was supported and advised. I finally got the keys to my beautiful seaside flat in September. I most certainly could not of done it without such an amazing bunch of people. A big thank you to Duncan and Stephen at Sorrell Property who went over and above to help with my move. The phone was always answered, calls always returned (if they weren't in the office at the time), emails were always responded to and they were extremely professional and helpful at all times.
