Just returned from a perfect weekend here, you can't fault the place. We stayed in Drummond View, the apartment is set back up the hill slightly from the loch, but this didn't bother us. We visited the spa, only get one visit if you stay and the only time available for us was 10am, not what we would have picked, but it's such a special place you can't complain.
The Ferryman Inn is a great pub/restaurant , even had live music on one of the nights. Our apartment was first class, all the furniture and appliances were of a high standard.
There is a lot to do near by, but it's so stunning you don't really want to leave the place, it's a lovely walk into the small village of Kenmore.
Can't wait to book again.... Read more

We are just back home from a 2 night stay in a houseboat which I had booked for my Boyfriends 40th. The houseboat was just awesome and lived up to our expectations. The bed, duvet and pillows are so comfortable!! It was fabulous waking up and stepping out onto the porch surrounded by the water. We booked The Tummel houseboat which is the furthest away houseboat (great views)
We also booked the Hotbox spa which was a fantastic experience. From the steam room, going into the freezing cold loch then into the hot tub it was awesome!!! The smell of the firewood in the air also gave it a good “feel”.
There was a curveball threw my way as my boyfriend (now fiance) got down on one knee and proposed to me on the porch of the houseboat which was a complete shock…..I said yes!!
Dinner was amazing and the staff send us over a complimentary bottle of fizz to celebrate which was a lovely touch!!
We will absolutely be back. Was very sad to be leaving this morning. It went too quick.... Read more

This is a special spot for sitting outside for some food and drinks either day or night. Lovely views out along Loch Tay during the day time, then when night falls the cosy outdoor lighting and fire-pit give it a great atmosphere. Food and drink are great, but the main selling point is the unbeatable location. I'm keen to return one day to use the spa facilities, as the sounds of people having fun sliding in to the Loch were making me quite jealous!... Read more

It's a beautiful spot on the loch, so that makes the trip worth it. Loved the Hotbox and slide, great fun. Only downside was the 20 people squeezed in that wee pool and trying to get drinks whilst there. But still loved that part and would go back.
Ferryman food wasn't great. First time I've smothered my fish in ketchup for flavour. Missing an opportunity there. Also not being able to order take out without a table reservation. Disappointing, and just a bit ridiculous. Don't offer takeout if you can't cope with the orders. Simple.
Apartment was nice. Leaky roof but not much was mentioned about that. Still kept my breakages deposit for 4 days! The hottubs were not great. One working jet in a tub for 4. Felt like we were sitting in a bath together which was a bit awkward. Did try to call about it but never got an answer as reception closes early.
Wouldn't return to apartments or restaurant but watersports and hotbox are great. Location makes it. But don't go expecting luxury.... Read more

Beware. This company take a £300 holding deposit from you (for any damage) for their house boats at the time of booking, which is refunded after check out. They say it is a pending payment but they actually take the money as a transaction. Despite being told by Taymouth marina the deposit has been refunded and released, we have never received a penny back into our account. So now we have effectively paid double. Over two weeks later after being told this money should be back in our account, we are still waiting. I would love to know how many other people have had a similar experience. Despite a great stay we absolutely will not be back and not recommend to anyone. Now having to claim the money back from the bank.... Read more

Stayed for a few days here as a Birthday treat and for the price paid expected good things
The accommodation overall was good apart from issues with the hot water for the shower, eventually accommodation staff ended up changing our room which wasted precious time
The room we were moved to had a temperamental heating water problem also but decided to live with it and not waste anymore of our time
The real problems began when we visited the onsite bar / restaurant.
We waited nearly 40/45 minutes for any food to come out and when it did it was totally shocking!!! On one plate we had burned / overdone chicken goujouns and in the other we had RAW !!!! chicken in the chicken salad.
The waitress acted as if it was normal practise suggested we order something else but it would take some time .
We decided to leave and not risk waiting another 40/50 mins for food! Not once did the waitress offer any sort of apology or show any kind of care.
The duty manager did apologise and agreed that it wasn’t acceptable and said he had issues all weekend with staff but then insisted on charging for the 3 soft drinks that we had whilst waiting for our food order After another conversation he then agreed that we didn’t need to pay for them. Total embarrassment !!!
The Mariner isn’t close to any other food / drink establishments so you’re pretty much stuck there unless your willing to drive to others.
On other visits to the bar we found the tables to be dirty and the drink service to be slow and the staff seemed very unhappy.
The Spa experience.itself was good but be warned you have to pay extra for dressing gowns / slippers etc
Raised all of this with management who did agree that our stay was dogged with issues and refunded part of our stay … so overall our precious time off and Birthday celebrations were pretty much ruined
Will re visit the area as the location is stunning but will not be recommending this place to anyone any time soon.... Read more

My wife, 2 daughters and I stayed in June 2024 in 1 of the 2 bed townhouses and we had a nice stay.
The facilities were exactly as described on the website and so fitted our needs perfectly although I would say some TLC is probably required in the accommodation. Not sure we really got to grips with the oven but the views down the Tay from the balcony, porch and, most importantly, the hot tub were phenomenal.
My wife and I both used the Hot Box spa during our stay, as we were travelling with kids we attended separately but both thoroughly enjoyed. It is great fun and a dook in the Tay is a must!
The Ferryman’s Inn is good food in a cosy atmosphere inside and a pleasant atmosphere outside.
If I could offer one bit of constructive feedback it would be develop the take-away service. Due to having young kids there was no way we could go out for dinner but felt the take-away service was a bit chaotic. Fine if you were happy to place the order and wait with a drink in hand but having to go up and down to see if our order was ready was less than ideal. A call back/buzzer and a dedicated area for order and collection would make all the difference.... Read more

We had the pleasure of dining at Taymouth Marina Restaurant and enjoyed both their outdoor and indoor seating options. Outside, we sampled all the side dishes, and each one was very delicious.
Indoors, we indulged in their pizza, fresh fish of the day and mussels. Each dish was prepared to perfection, showcasing the chef’s exceptional culinary skills. The beer selection was fantastic, with each brew being very, very tasty, and the rosé was also great.
The atmosphere was magical, especially with the breathtaking sunset over the lake. It created a serene and picturesque backdrop that enhanced our dining experience.
What truly made our visit unforgettable was the outstanding service from Kat. She was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time. Her warmth and professionalism added a personal touch that made our evening extra special.

Pros:
Pretty location and lovely setting.
Good spa, fit for private booking of large groups.
Cons:
Below average quality of food (soggy fish lacking flavour, basic unremarkable pizza, stodgy chips, tasteless unseasoned mushy peas)
Very disappointing service. Confrontational, unaccommodating, unhelpful (with the exception of internal spa staff)
From the start, the staff in the restaurant, bar and spa reception came across as cold and anything but proactive. Instead of the warm welcome typical of resorts targeting the luxury market, it was disappointingly flat. We arrived 5 minutes early to the spa and were bluntly told to stand outside "while cleaning is completed". Unsurprisingly, the ready and waiting seating (waiting?) area had not changed in the 5 minutes prior...
We asked for takeaway food. For some reason the food was not delivered like this, so of course we were met with the 20% higher tariffs. We were told there was no space for seating, despite having been told to return in an hour. Normally staff would proactively confirm a booking when a verbal agreement to return at a time is made. Upon return an hour later, after much faffing around and sitting drinking in the rain, we were ushered back inside (perhaps to the table originally booked and then a "no show"). All the while we were there there were empty tables that could've seated our group.
The general sluggish, cold and unwelcoming demeanour of staff leaves a bitter taste when paying premium. Overall, shocking level of service. Waitress confrontational, and largely unapologetic for all of the messing around.
This place could be so much better.... Read more

Only came for the restaurant, it was late and we couldn’t get a reservation so they let us sit without a booking. The restaurant was very aesthetic (but cold outside!), in terms of the food it was quite bland and overpriced unfortunately.
The burger costed 20£- and it lacked any flavour at all, meat was over cooked, barely any cheese (paid extra) and dry. The chips had no salt & dry. Please do add more flavour to this and it would be much better thanks :)

Stayed 16/11/23 - 19/11/23
Have stayed previously and enjoyed it but this time we were very disappointed.
Location- Incredible views and quiet.
Accomadation- fairly average not luxury but that doesnt bother us, we did however have issues with the cleanliness in the kitchen and the windows were filthy. Wifi was down on check in and took a few hours to get sorted the Duty manager was friendly and apologetic though.
HotBox- We requested robes and slippers (rented) to find they had no robes left only slippers. The facilities were fine however you now need to order from the bar (from previous visits staff used to go round and take your order from wherever you were) the bar was staffed by 1 person making multiple cocktails so took some time and of course we had no robes so it was freezing (it's November) also due to not having a robes you couldn't sit in the seating area to enjoy the views as it was just too cold. At the end we were still charged for the robe and slippers set because we used the slippers.
The ferrymans Inn - I can only speak to what I had but was left disappointed, have eaten here on previous visit and really enjoyed the food and was keen to reorder the burger.
Starter- Halummi was delicious.
Main- moving mountain burger was very dry and bland the chips that I got were nice but as about a third of my portion seemed to be chip scraps from the bottom of the fryer which were very greasy and rock hard I was disappointed. Also worth noting I asked for cheese on the burger to discover on the bill I was charged £2 which although is pretty steep for a slice of cheese I wouldn't of minded so much if it had actually tasted of anything.
Side- we shared mac and cheese bites which were just tasteless balls of breaded mush, presumably the same expensive cheese they use on the burger?
Worth noting my partner opted for the waygo steak burger and enjoyed it and the atmosphere and views in the resteraunt are pleasant.
All in all including a very small 200ml coke and a glass of wine it was a £60 spend and I have to say i have had better meals at weatherspoons.
All in for 3 nights and 1 meal £567 (discounted rate due to buliding work full price would be touching £700) The staff were all nice and friendly I just don't think it is good value for money anymore.
Edit
Thank you for the copy and paste response on trip advisor with not even an attempt at an apology for the poor experience top notch CS ????
We were on the fence about giving the place another chance in the future but this has confirmed we won't be back.

My husband and I stayed here and were disappointed. The hotbox was the only good part about our stay. Upon arrival, our heat and wifi were not working. We went down to reception and the receptionist said "that is strange, I haven't heard of that before." She then left for the night. We went to the restaurant to see if someone could help and finally a manager helped us after we were checked in for 2 hours. The manager was very nice and solved our issues but we still were frustrated. Then, our bathroom tub did not drain well and we spent three days with a filled drain. The kitchen is mediocre at best and provides you with the bare essentials. Overall, the hotbox experience was lovely but we only were given one time slot to pick from and it was the evening of our last day. For the money, I would stay elsewhere.... Read more

Nothing outrageously wrong but a lot of tiny little things makes it impossible for me to give a positive review.
The view was great and so was the bathtub and the spa experience but here are a few things that were less than ideal:
- the shower was barely working with almost no water pressure.
- the coffee machine provided was probably pre-war. I managed to drive to Aberfeldy, get 2 coffees, and drive back and the coffee machine wasn't finished yet.
- we went to the restaurant one night, my partner ordered a steak cooked medium-rare but she got a steak almost burned to the crisp. She should have sent it back but we had already waited so long for our meals she sucked it up and ate that piece of boot.
- it is 100% NOT child friendly. The travel cot they gave us was pretty much a safety hazard.... Read more

Only used the slipway so my rating is only based on that. It costs £20 to use the slipway which isn't an unusual price however the slipway itself is dreadful. The bottom is all broken away leaving a step of a good foot or so. While reversing the sailboat in the trailer went off the step and nearly tipped the boat off. It was difficult to get the boat off due to the angle and the inability to get the car in any further than the broken off end of the slip.
Once the boat was finally floating, there was no pontoon to tie up to leaving the boat to drift into the rocks immediately beside the slip due to the prevailing wind and waves pushing the boat right in.
Retrieval was considerably worse. It was impossible to get the trailer back over the step of the broken slip when the boat was on, this was towing with a large 4x4. In the end I had to have the trailer hard into the rocks to avoid the broken slip but the trailer was now at a really bad angle so the boat wouldn't go up the rollers. Eventually gave up and got the boat out not seated properly then spent an hour with a jack and blocks of wood to get the boat positioned properly.
The amount of money taymouth marina makes, they could surely fix the slipway and install a pontoon to make launching and retrieval safe.... Read more

Read more

Visited The Ferryman’s Tavern on a fairly quiet weekday lunchtime. It’s a long time since my previous visit, and so the Tavern was a new experience.
Staff were very warm and friendly. Ordering diary-free coffee and gluten-free pizza was no hassle. Coffee was flavourful and hot. Pizza was mega-yummy!
The terrace itself is a very welcome addition to the complex. It has a feel of a beachfront Mediterranean or Aegean place. You’ll always be in the lap of the Scottish weather gods, but that’s just how it is.
Looking forward to the next visit, when it will be warm enough for an iced cappuccino, rather than huddling around a hot one. ????????????????????????????????????
UPDATE: July 2023
Well, it still wasn’t warm enough for an iced cappuccino, but the hot one was lovely again.
Had a Rosemary Chicken pizza. Plan was to have half at lunch, then take the rest away and have it for supper. Yeah, right… So yummy that I pigged the lot. ???? Did consider going back later for another one, but that would have been just TOO piggy.

We booked the hotbox for a couple of hours which was a fantastic experience in a stunning location. There was some building work going on which spoiled the view a little but that can't be helped. Popped in for a drink and to enjoy the views, the Barman seemed to be the only member of staff aware of what a customer is and he was lovely. However, while trying to enjoy peaceful drinks other members of staff moved tables and chairs back and forth scraping them across the ground and discussing the layout and joking amongst themselves with total disregard for the customers trying to enjoy their drinks. This continued for at least 30mins. The bar was stacked with dirty glasses - not the Batman’s fault who was very busy! The soda came out a Tesco brand large bottle - and of course came with a massive price tag ???? The toilets were disgusting. So disappointing- such a nice location and evidently they’re relying on that and not any regard to level of service. Evident lack of management.... Read more

I attended a swimming competition here in February 2023, the marina pumped out raw sewage into the swim area and then told us it would be safe to swim the next day. Really disappointed with their lack of regard for our health, and the affect their actions have on the marine life in the loch.
After the sewage event we went to the on-site restaurant and I ordered the vegan pizza, double checked it was dairy free cheese once it was delivered, was reassured that it was, but it turned out to be real cheese and I spent the rest of the afternoon quite unwell ????.
It’s a beautiful location but the way this situation has been dealt with has been awful and I’d be reluctant to trust the staff.... Read more

We are just back from a fantastic 3 night break at Taymouth Marina. The apartment was modern, clean and had everything we could possibly require. We were stayed in 2 Loch View.
The apartment came with 3 bathrooms, 4 showers, 1 Bathtub, a washing machine, dishwasher, iron, coffee machine and kettle. The staff kindly left enough dishwasher tablets and washing machine pods to last the duration of the stay. The bonus was definitely the hot tub included on our outdoor seating area.
As part of the stay you get a complimentary 2 hour experience in the Hotbox located on site. It's recommended you book into this when you book your stay as it fills up very quickly. 15 people is the max limit on anyone rotation at a time.
We were staying out of season with all the watersports off, the onsite restaurant and bar were opened though.
Thoroughly recommend and will be booking for another stay.... Read more

Sewage discharge directly into the loch from the Taymouth Marina on 25th Feb. How could this have happened? This has caused the cancellation of the Scottish ice swimming championship 2023. Why was your system connected to the loch? Why was there a discharge? We need answers!... Read more

Not worth a star. Be WARNED Taymouth Marina dumps RAW SEWAGE directly into the loch from their resort!!! This hotel pollutes the water - visit at your own risk!
I attended an event hosted at the marina facilities 24-26 February 2023, the Scottish Winter Swimming Championships. During this event Taymouth Marina allowed raw sewage to go directly into the loch while the event was taking place. The event was cancelled.
The Marina has taken no responsibilities for it’s actions and worryingly encouraged the public to use the loch ‘at your own risk’ and facilitates the following day. Raw sewage can take up to 72 hours to clean and puts both people and wildlife at risk.... Read more

Taymouth Marina is a luxury loch-side resort near the popular tourist towns of Pitlochry and Aberfeldy.
It comprises luxury self catering accommodation ranging from one bedroom apartments through to modern, three bedroom townhouses. Some include a private outdoor hot tub, which we used every night and was definitely worth booking.
There is also a gastro pub called the Ferryman’s Inn which offers exceptional food at very reasonable prices. Booking is highly recommended and best keep in mind that they are closed on Wednesdays when making plans.
During the summer season there are water-sports available on Loch Tay.
Finally, the HotBox Spa is well worth a visit, and since every visitor gets a complimentary session, there’s really no reason not to.
We also have to compliment the management team as well as the extremely attentive Emma on the reception team. We had an issue with the accommodation we had booked for a special occasion. When we escalated it to Emma she handled it in such a professional manner that she turned what could have been a slightly disappointing stay into a highly memorable one, for all the right reasons.... Booked Taymouth Marina for its location which is ideal for local mountain bike and walking routes. The accommodation is nice and we took advantage of booking a hot tub lodge. The local bar is nice and this place would be ideal for us to book again, however I say "would" as sadly we won't be back. This is not due to the resort but the lack of sound proofing between lodges, we had to endure a noisy screeching party on our first weekend of a week's stay, and then the elephant family moved in upstairs with what sounded like children constantly feeling like they were coming through the ceiling. Thump thump thump constant and all day. We are normally out during the day walking or on bikes and like to relax in the evening but just felt on edge. I would have scored higher and if we like a holiday location we generally book again, but it's a shame as we like it here, although need to review on the whole experience.... Read more

Nicely lied at the side of Loch Tay with small "marina" with kayaks, boards, water bouncer (too low in the water so unable to bounce; you can only jump to the water).
Friendly and helpful staff: found space in the restaurant for lunch despite being quite busy. Menu..? Well, outside quite poor choice served in carton boxes, but inside OK. Lovely presented. Some dishes of good taste (salads, meat board- could do with wider choice) but personally don't recommend mussels which I usually love to last bit- sour and smelling spoiled that time- had to change to something else (pizza- you can't go wrong with this, can you?).
Most of the outside heaters not working at that time and weather rather poor: windy and rainy. Fisherman's Inn provides you with cosy blankets which are nice in the evening but are not enough without extra warmth from heaters.... Read more

We have only experienced the spa on a rainy day, which a perfect combo. The staff was very helpful and nice from the begging, to serving drinks during the spa time to the leaving time. The spa area is not extremely big: a hot tub, a sauna and a hammam, so 2h set time is enough to enjoy all of them. The popular spot was the slide into the lake as it was the perfect coldness after the hot tub or sauna. Would have been lovely to have an extra pool, but that's why the lake is just there, I guess. Changing rooms are slightly too small for the 10 women total that was at the same time as me and some time might be lost for waiting to change pre or after spa, you can avoid the changing time by just coming prepared.... Avoid Ferryman’s Inn at marina! Overcharged, terrible service.
Arrived before it opened, once it opened no one was interested in helping.Ordered a £12 salad, halloumi and chips. Paid £5 for two stale cokes we watched them pour out an old bottle of coke. We waited an hour for a simple order, and noticed people walking out because of the wait and poor communication/service. We saw a manager come and get food before any customers who had been waiting since it opened. When we finally got our meal, I was so disappointed. You could find better salads in Asda meal deal. It was welted lettuce with three bits of unseasoned chicken slices and two slices of avocado. Chips must of been fried with fish as had fishy taste. The only saving grace was their fried halloumi..
Could only think because there’s no competition around them, they don’t seem to care and up the prices. I recommend avoiding and going to Alberfeldy instead for food.... Read more

Ate at the Ferryman's Inn for lunch. Lovely atmosphere, stunning location, outdoor seating if the weather allows, lots of little dark cosy spaces if you prefer inside instead. Staff friendly and attentive. They've tried to get away from the usual predictable pub grub menu and the food is about quality over quantity which is a good thing.... although drinks are rather pricey (£6 for a pint of draught beer...). Ended up paying £93 for four people who all had one main course and one drink. Wouldn't put me off recommending this restaurant or coming back again.... Read more

Upon arriving at the Marina it wasn't the most hospitable of arrivals. We were given a key and she gestured to where we were staying but there weren't any numbers on the accommodation, yes we were given a map, but it would have been a bit warmer to be shown to it.
It would have been nice to have a welcome pack with the apartment i.e teabags, milk (coffee was there for the machine) just to make our arrival a little more comfortable especially with the 6 hour drive.
The cleanliness wasn't up to the standard that you would expect for how the facility postures itself to be. There was lots of dust in the living room showing the couches are never moved, and dust in the bedroom along all the skirting boards. There were hairs in the bed and the lady in the reception shrugged it off as if it were nothing. (a common theme throughout the stay shrugging off issues) There was no batteries in the remotes nor an ironing board, but they did have an iron. Again they seemed unapologetic for missing items and didn't even leave it where i asked when they sourced one, leaving it on the wet rainy ground upside down. There is not any spray for cleaning the sides and under the sink it appears as everything has been thrown under without care.
The finishing touches are just missing throughout, seems as though this property is just in its infancy. Blinds are needed in the kitchen and the back door needs something to prevent onlookers being able to see in. The bathroom was missing some decor and also a holder for the toilet roll which is down to basics not being met. The handwash is actually just hair and body shampoo on the label.
The Hotbox spa was a lovely experience however the steam room was out of use and the sauna was useless. The sauna was nowhere near hot enough and was too big to even get hot enough during our time there. The staff were slow as well preferring to chat in the office than be visible and attentive, there were 15 of us. They ran out of robes and slippers which should have been complimentary on arrival, if wanted. This meant we were cold and couldn't sit outside the hot pool. Again, the staff were unfussed by this.
This facility as a whole is running on the location. The stunning surroundings and walking distance to Kenmore make it an ideal getaway. As a whole we have enjoyed our stay even if at times it was underwhelming. We would definitely come back to the area but try our luck elsewhere at Taymouth mains where the staff and experience seem to be bedded in.... Read more

Taymouth marina is absolutely stunning.. even better when snow falls... the hot box is an experience on it own with sauna and steam room and an added extra slide into the loch. The apartments are also beautiful with you're very own hot tub. Unfortunately we could not test the hot tub due to a power cut that lasted 2 days.. it dampened our mood and just wanted to go home. during this period the staff had offered free coffee in the morning with some food and snacks... and got some candles to light up the apartment. Would have been nice to get some photos but could not due to phone running out of charge. Started of brilliant then ended a disaster. Would suggest next time this happens think about the guest as they buy thing to cook in you're apartments but can't cook so go's to waste then being advised not to travel but then charge you for food and drink. When they have just saved loads of £££ on electricity from the power cut. Rather disappointed if I'm honest.. I know you can't help nature but think about it for the one's who are stuck there all night.... Read more

Stayed here for 3 nights early August.
Cleanliness not up to standard I would expect for price paid.
Kitchen sink & basin looked like they had not been cleaned for months!
Unable to access property until 4pm? ( reason given additional cleaning due to Covid)
No spare bin bags.
No antibac spray or wiping up cloths for surfaces/worktops
A pot scrubber cut in half?? ( penny pinching, surely)
No towel in cloakroom toilet( we had to use bathmat)
No mattress protector on beds( a bit unhygienic)
Cushions left outside, soaking wet, rendering them unuseable
( storage box would be useful)
Headrests loose on hot tub
On a positive point, beautiful views and well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds and decent living space throughout!
This could be a 5 star facility if these issues were addressed.
It would pay in the long run to address wear & tear issues and decor.
Just not up to scratch.
Do not think this is value for money and doubt we would recommend or return for these reasons... Read more

Avoid the Ferryman’s Inn bar at the Marina. Insanely slow service, high prices, no frills, cigarette ends all over the grass, no social distancing, no staff wearing masks, toilets filthy, classless place top to bottom. A prime example of some “entrepreneurs” cashing in on a beautiful area & tourist trap view of the loch with a substandard business. Clearly no care for what they do at all. Feels like a smash and grab job. As someone who’s visited the area every summer since childhood it makes me sad to see. Potential to be the best place in the area. Actually the worst I’ve been to. Won’t be back. Feel dirty just having been there. (review for bar / food service part of business, no idea about other services like rooms etc)... Read more

Disappointing service at the Ferryman's Inn. Waited an hour for pizzas, then told they had been forgotten about so order taken again, offered drinks while we waited (which had already been ordered and paid for). This second order was wrong so had to wait again, offered a refund for both pizzas, only to be told that the first order wasn't forgotten about so no refund for both pizzas, only the wrong one. Told everyone had to wait an hour even though several tables who arrived well after us got their pizzas first, not remotely apologetic about it.... Read more

Absolutely amazing place on the beautiful banks of Loch Tay at Kenmore. Have been before and will be back again. Unfortunately, we feel that we got stung at the Ferryman's Inn, where we paid £66 for what was no more than children's portions of pizza. Even my 14 and 9 year old kids were still hungry when we left, and £2.50 for a can of juice??? Will definitely be back in Kenmore, but won't be returning to this restaurant. Amazing location and fantastic scenery. This has all the ingredients for a great day out! The pricing for the hot box is reasonable, don’t bother with the extra for robes though. Everything is clean and well maintained apart from the towel which could do with replacing. This venue however is a bit confused as to what it is. It could be a fantastic spa retreat with the opportunity to pamper yourself but sadly on the day we visited they were short staffed so the bar wasn’t open. There was some water provided and they had drinks in the fridge in reception along with some sauna products to buy but as there were no staff around this was not possible. The slide into the loch is a definite must!! Sadly the steam room was a bit intermittent and just as we were deciding to go back to the heated pool a party with about 10 kids arrived. The kids were having a great time using the pool to swim but it wasn’t very relaxing and we left early. Would definitely try visiting again as this was a fab afternoon that could so easily have been perfect.... Read more

My review is regarding the price of the Hot Box Sauna. My wife and I and our two children wanted to visit the sauna and were quoted a price of £80, so £20 per person. I suspect our children aged 9 and 7 would not have been permitted to use the sauna so £40 for both of them to use a slide into the loch. This is a rip off. Surely there should be a concession for kids unless of course they are trying to discourage children from using the facilities. Futhermore we found the reception to be brusque and not particularly helpful or friendly.... Read more
