We recently used this office to handle the sale of our flat and purchase of a new build property. Their service was excellent and they gave clear advice every step of the way. All fees were summarised up front and there were not any hidden charges down the line. Couldn't recommend them enough.
My experience with Neilsons started of Great. Dealing with Dave he was very efficient and quick to respond thought the whole process. However there was an ongoing Roof replacement on the property I was purchasing . I had raised my concerns to be investigated more to ensure I didn't have to pay for the bill. Dave passed this onto another member of the team who after consulting with the sellers solicitor confirmed I didn't have to pay for the roof replacement. The day I moved into the property I got a letter stating that I had to pay for the remaining 2/3 of the roof replacement which was just over £2000. Apparently only 1/3 of the roof had been replaced which I feel should have been picked up. This experience left me feeling a bit let down by Neilsons however It wouldn't put me off solely using Dave.
I would definitely recommend Morgan’s to friends and family I have had a very professional, quick and easy experience given what it could have been in my circumstances. Brian Tait dealt with my case and was very helpful and gave excellent advice and assistance.
If I could have given them a negative rating, I would have. Primarily dealt with Linda, the Letting Manager, with our rental agreement for a property in Dunfermline. Everything was great until we wanted to move out. Linda became very unprofessional asking for an immediate entry to the property for a look around to make sure it was all in shape.
All our previous inspections were top class, and the only notes were some weeding that I never done.
Anyway, Linda used all sorts of ways to gain entry, false legal speech, incorrect statements of fact from the tenant agreement and even used an excuse that SHE WAS GOING INTO HOSPITAL FOR A MINOR OP AND THIS WAS STRESSING HER (I have emails as proof, so unprofessional it's not even funny) that we finally caved. This is just ONE of many issues and hassle we had leaving our rented property.
I'm in the mist of writing a massive complaint to them, and I'll end with this, if Claire Morgan if ever needs a new Lettings Manager, I could do a DAMN site better than Linda.
