I bought my property through McEwan Fraser Legal and I think I made the best decision when I chose them. I was given a first class service by all the team members especially Agnieszka, Sarah, Gemma and many others. They were very helpful and kept me informed throughout the process. I would really recommend them and I believe they are the best. Being the best estate agency is the least recognition they deserve. Thank you.
very let down some of the staff were helpful but acouple of then I found very rude I wont be using you again.we were down to veiw Cannonholm farm Auchenheath Ml11 it was canncelled at the last minute we were traviling from Callander and was basically told that tough Iwas angry some of you staff should get more training on how to deal wth prospecive buyers including you manager who was very unhelful to my husband
Lesley Mckirdy at Move Quick was recommended to me and I would just like to thank Lesley who done a fantastic job of helping to get our house on the market and to selling in a hassle free experience. From start to finish Lesley was a fantastic member of the team, always on hand to answer any questions or queries. Could not recommend Lesley enough, first class job. Appreciate your time, effort and professionalism.
I never write a review but I have been left so disatisfied and angry at the service I have recieved and we feel like we have been ripped off.
If you go with them record everything and all correspondance as they renegade on their agreements especially verbal (they do their best to avoid anything in black and white so beware). Initial meeting we were told a price and promised a valuation for the home report only to then find out that it was £10K less upon survey after paying £375. The estate agents are making promises they are in no position to offer and your out of pocket and left with no option but to stay with them. Iain Waugh comes across as a nice guy. However he is a sales man at the end of the day and makes promises and gives reassurances that he has no power or control over. Don't be fooled by the £1000 upon sale with no hidden costs. This is excluding vat and it certainly came as a surprise to us when we got £1200 bill through the door and was never mentioned to us by Iain. £1000 that's it we were told.
They continually recommend Moore McDonald Motherwell for conveyancing work that bring with it a conflict of interest. Seem to have some sort of relationship with each other bringing business their way to detriment of their clients needs & requirements. This conveyancer is best avoided at all costs as they are substandard and incompetent And feel like both work against you not for you for their own financial gains. Go to well known high street estate agency not much more expensive if any and expertise is night and day to Move Quick.
Warners Solitiors were fantastic from start to finish. They explained everything really clearly, and kept things simple. We were always kept up-to-date regarding the sale of our property, and really appreciated how organised they were. Personally, we would like to thank Michelle, Avril, Anne, Louise and Holly for all their hard work!
After a long drawn out, directionless and uncommunicative house sale, I've decided that I cannot in all good faith recommend Warners to you.
There are plenty of alternatives available in Edinburgh, do yourself a favour and buy/sell with them instead.
On the other hand, if you like the idea of being left in the dark about your purchase/sale for weeks, and you'd welcome the opportunity to repeatedly ask the same questions over and over again then maybe, these are the guys for you.
These guys are old school, sneering conveyancers who have an air of "we are really doing you a favour selling your house you know?" about them.
This is an industry ripe for a shake up and hangers-on like this crowd will be first to fall. Just my opinion likes...
Friendly west end agent, now serving the city centre.
Feel I should share my awful experience in Bryes road. Two female staff were very rude. One flat with several notes of interest went to a dealer - later checked & it was sold for under the Home report (something I was told never happens in West End) Then another in similiar area I couldn’t get to see, next thing it was reduced & sold! I would have paid full price. I have spoken to others who have been in here & they also said how impolite the staff were. Would advise to sell with other estate agents & trying to buy sounds as though a dealer might have better luck.
