Friendly west end agent, now serving the city centre.
Feel I should share my awful experience in Bryes road. Two female staff were very rude. One flat with several notes of interest went to a dealer - later checked & it was sold for under the Home report (something I was told never happens in West End) Then another in similiar area I couldn’t get to see, next thing it was reduced & sold! I would have paid full price. I have spoken to others who have been in here & they also said how impolite the staff were. Would advise to sell with other estate agents & trying to buy sounds as though a dealer might have better luck.
Selling my property was a difficult time but the staff at Igloo were helpful and professional. I would be happy to use them again in future. Thanks again.
An ABSOLUTE FARCE OF A COMPANY!!! Landlords, please beware of Igloo. I was passed a “long term tenant” who caused me nothing but stress from the moment they stepped in the door. Despite said tenant costing me £200.00 in extra furnishings to keep them happy, me and my partner receiving threatening verbal abuse and to top it off – the tenant moving out after 11 days of living at the property…Igloo’s fee’s still stood!!?? They clearly do not have the landlords safety, peace of mind and service levels held at a high regard. They are only interested in the fee.
Igloo also enjoy ignoring calls and lying about being in the office. I called for one of the agents and was advised that they weren’t in the office at the time, 2 minutes later one of my colleagues called as a “fresh enquiry” and guess who answered the phone…….said agent!!
Save yourself the hassle and speak with another agency before calling Igloo!!!
Kara Marriott was our solicitor and she was an absolute star from start to finish. Totally satisfied with the service they provided and would use again for sure.
My experience with Neilsons started of Great. Dealing with Dave he was very efficient and quick to respond thought the whole process. However there was an ongoing Roof replacement on the property I was purchasing . I had raised my concerns to be investigated more to ensure I didn't have to pay for the bill. Dave passed this onto another member of the team who after consulting with the sellers solicitor confirmed I didn't have to pay for the roof replacement. The day I moved into the property I got a letter stating that I had to pay for the remaining 2/3 of the roof replacement which was just over £2000. Apparently only 1/3 of the roof had been replaced which I feel should have been picked up. This experience left me feeling a bit let down by Neilsons however It wouldn't put me off solely using Dave.
I recently sold my house for an unbelievable sale price with Town & Country Estate Agents. Having had the property on the market with another local firm with no success, I changed to Town & Country and the difference in volume of viewings and offers was startling.
