Rettie West End have managed to sell a flat for me at a price I am very happy with in a very short period of time. In fact less than a month from putting it on the Market and me accepting an offer on the property.
Zoe Randall always kept me updated with what was happening and who was viewing and when they were viewing as well as updating me of the outcome of the viewing.
In her absence Anne Sutherland also offered the same sterling service.
All in all I am very pleased with Rettie West End and I would recommend them to anyone.
Ian Cox very happy seller.
Feel I should share my awful experience in Bryes road. Two female staff were very rude. One flat with several notes of interest went to a dealer - later checked & it was sold for under the Home report (something I was told never happens in West End) Then another in similiar area I couldn’t get to see, next thing it was reduced & sold! I would have paid full price. I have spoken to others who have been in here & they also said how impolite the staff were. Would advise to sell with other estate agents & trying to buy sounds as though a dealer might have better luck.
From start to finish, the staff were fantastic. Always keen to help, were superbly knowledgeable and just a joy to have on your side.
Massive thanks to Julie who is one of the agents. She was all of the above and more
I highly recommend Igloo!
I had the "pleasure" to interact with two of their agents.
David was the first one. We had this viewing booked for 12pm on Saturday and he texts me at 9am to ask me if I'm still okay with our meeting at 10am?! I explained that I'm not booked for 10am and that we can meet up later on. At around 2pm he decides to text me saying he could do it. He was late for that one as well, but let's just ignore that. He saw that I don't have a Scottish accent and he asked me where I'm from. When we got into the flat, he mentioned it's not furnished. I only searched for furnished flats and so, I've advised him that it should be furnished. He insisted it's not furnished and then PROCEEDED TO ASK ME IF I KNOW WHAT FURNISHED MEANS and to explain what the difference between furnished and unfurnished is. After a wee chat, we concluded that he took me to the wrong flat. Not only that he messed up his appointments and he thought I was scheduled in for another time, but he took me to the completely wrong flat. I've rarely seen such incompetence somewhere.
Second one was Ian. He promised he would talk to the landlord of a different flat and that we would email me. I had to chase this up twice and Linda (I'm assuming that's the receptionist/secretary) told me that he would contact me back, but never did. Later on, I've seen the advert removed from the website.
EDIT AND UPDATE (as I cannot reply to their response): Stop lying and embarrassing yourself. You should apologise, but I don’t care. I don’t want your apologies, I want other people to know what will they deal with.
And to respond properly... I did have a meeting with Gail and when I asked her what to do if I want the flat she said to call into the office first thing the next morning, and so I did. I called in, Linda answered and she transferred me to Ian. I did discuss a couple of details with Ian and he promised he will keep me updated. He never did, which is why you never have any kind of record of our interactions except the ones that you mentioned.
And as of David, I can definitely screenshot our entire conversation in text messages and post it here (including his phone number).
I sold my flat with Clyde Property in June 2017. Lewis was extremely helpful throughout the whole process and answered any questions I had quickly and professionally. Carol guided me through the sale and gave me sound advice when I was doing the viewings. Overall, I was extremely happy with everyone I dealt with at Clyde Property Byres Road, and most of all, they got me a fantastic price for my property. I could not have asked for more.
Absolutely terrible service. I made the unfortunate mistake of letting out my flat with them. Sky high charges, never got anything done on time, terrible communication skills. Frequently let both me and the tenants down. When I decided to sell they valued far below any other estate agents in the area. Had I gone with Clyde I would have lost a significant amount of money. I will never use them again. Avoid- there are far superior estate agents out there.
1st Class service – Great advice and help at every step of the way.
I would consider myself to be a very demanding client - But nothing was a problem for Kirsten and Suzie – who were constantly calm and reassuring throughout the whole process.
They both Helped guide us through some rather stressful parts of our Purchase and were always positive and reassuring.
I particularly like working via email rather than the telephone – and I never waited long for an emailed reply
I found this to be excellent as I mostly went through this process while still at my work desk.
I would definitely recommend Neilsons to anyone looking to buy/sell a house.
My experience with Neilsons started of Great. Dealing with Dave he was very efficient and quick to respond thought the whole process. However there was an ongoing Roof replacement on the property I was purchasing . I had raised my concerns to be investigated more to ensure I didn't have to pay for the bill. Dave passed this onto another member of the team who after consulting with the sellers solicitor confirmed I didn't have to pay for the roof replacement. The day I moved into the property I got a letter stating that I had to pay for the remaining 2/3 of the roof replacement which was just over £2000. Apparently only 1/3 of the roof had been replaced which I feel should have been picked up. This experience left me feeling a bit let down by Neilsons however It wouldn't put me off solely using Dave.
I recently sold my house for an unbelievable sale price with Town & Country Estate Agents. Having had the property on the market with another local firm with no success, I changed to Town & Country and the difference in volume of viewings and offers was startling.
