26th Jun 2024 (4 weeks ago)Unfortunately not a good experience for us. We had our house on the market with DY for 14 weeks and didn’t get one offer. We then changed estate agents and SSTC within 6 days and had 3 offers on the table. We regret not going with our second choice of estate agents from the beginning as we wasted over 3 months with DY, as we were tied into a contract. Who knows what they were telling viewers as they had to ask us after over 8 weeks to confirm our parking situation. We also got told misleading feedback which wasn’t even for our house we found out in the end! They had no respect or care for our house, so if you’ve got a small 2 bed terraced, don’t bother. I believe they’re only interested in the big houses that make them more money. Luckily they didn’t get a penny out of us.
6th Apr 2024 (16 weeks ago)Our experience with Mov8 was easy they kept us informed with viewing and communication was prompt. The only thing was their offices are in Edinburgh and Glasgow and we are in Carnoustie which was a little inconvenient if we needed to go to their office to sign things
14th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)Lack of communication and not pro-active as I had to instigate them doing anything. Pricing is terrible everything is an extra add on with vat on everything. Too expensive for lack of contact and or proactivity.
7th Jun 2023 (1 year ago)Amazing service from Warners - all staff were attentive and supportive from the beginning. Even with a sale fall through and having to go back on the market, they helped ease the upset of what was a really upsetting time, found me a new buyer and completed 6 weeks later. Cannot fault their service, Caitlin Meaney was my negotiator and made me feel like nothing was too much trouble and gave fantastic advice / came across very knowledgeable on the market for the area and time I was selling. Would 100% recommend Warners, and have already done so to a few also looking to sell. I met with around 4 estate agencies total and Warners were the clear choice from the start. Thanks so much for all your help! We now have sold our flat and purchased our forever family home and couldn’t have done it without your help.

The only thing I would ask for improvement is the time took for them to respond emails could be quicker. Overall, it’s a pleasant experience and would definitely recommend.- 3rd Jul 2024 (24 days ago)Honestly would give zero stars if I could. This place was not very helpful at all. Zero contact from them - I don't think that we received a single update in the whole 2 weeks we were dealing with them without having to spend hours ringing to get through ourselves. A waste of our time. Please learn to answer your phones or at least have an answering machine to tell people when you will or won’t be able to be contacted. DO NOT USE THIS ESTATE AGENT (unless you like being ignored and put on the back burner).
- 23rd Jul 2024 (4 days ago)We have been renting our flat in Glasgow with countrywide for over a year now and its honestly been a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend them to any landlord or tenant. Kellie, Fern, Ashton, Jamie and the rest of the team have been as thoughtful and helpful to us as landlords as they have been to our tenants, who have also had a great experience throughout their tenancy. They have a really amazing knowledge of the market and always give honest advice and are quick to address any problems. 10/10!

13th Jul 2024 (14 days ago)Hi, After reviewing the estate agents in the area I selected igloo as it had the biggest turnover of properties marketed and the price was lowest in the area. Overall I think I can summaries by saying, “ You get what you pay for”. The lower outlay against some of the aspects of selling my house does match up. Positives :- House sold for market valuation. Which was probably the most important thing in the end after a very long time on market. Negatives :- The surveyor recommended and used in my opinion constructed a survey which really didn’t support the sale of my home. Which led to the very long and drawn out sale. The house I feel could have been marketed stronger. Did not get the feeling of any drive to sell it. It felt like sit back and wait for phone to ring. Closed at weekends meant after any viewings at the weekend I had to wait for any feedback. Plus think it led to people loosing interest. Feedback was not very forthcoming. Most occasions I had to call for an update after viewing. Sometimes felt like I was annoying people when I called to find out what was happening. Advised to get a refresh on home report with I did not do as my lawyer advised it was not required. House sale completed without this. Could have been an unnecessary expense. So glad I want with my own lawyer and not one they advised. So overall got the sale after a long wait for market value which was most important but I do think the sales experience could have been better if some of my negative points were removed or improved.

A big thanks to Sophie and her colleagues who made our whole buyer journey such a lovely experience. From initial contact, booking viewing, attending viewing and throughout offer stages, each member of staff was so friendly, professional and couldn't have been any more helpful and understanding. Especially patient and helpful given I was trying to negotiate the process on behalf of my son who is on the Autistic Spectrum. Genuinely nice people.

From start to finish, they kept me updated, and informed me of what I needed to do at every stage. I liked the fact that I did not need to spend a thing until the whole transaction had been completed. I would use Neilsons again and recommend them to everyone who is selling or buying a house.

The whole process was stress free, which was fantastic due to other family circumstances at the time of the accident. Would highly recommend both Waterman’s and Johnny to family and friends.

5th Jul 2024 (22 days ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!

I would highly recommend. Now I just sit back & keep my fingers crossed on securing my lovely new flat! :)
