Heating broke, leaving us to all sleep in our hoodies, freezing. They came to fix it but then the hot water went so we all had to shower in cold water! Not great for a large party getting ready for a big night out. Not allowed to go in the hot tub after 8pm either... ???? There was also a giant wasp and a ladybird infestation not to mention the b musty old duvet. The house is very dated and messy; there were photo albums and family keepsakes hidden behind voile curtains. The hot tub was good.

The house is old and huge and like a maze. Because it's listed the windows are single glazed and the wind and rain battered and rattled them. The decor is in dire need of renovation and the electrics are old and a tad dangerous. The parking is difficult but you can use one end of the hotel car park across the road. It's probably glorious in the summer as there is a beautiful garden with a hot tub and BBQ.
