I contacted PB to view one property, I chased to find out when the viewing would be to which no one responded.
Julie then contacted me to say she'd been waiting outside and I didn't show (hard to do without communicating an appointment and not responding to my email).
No apology or reasoning I decided to not pursue this property.
Two weeks later another property becomes available (through PB, but I thought I'd start again), I contacted them about the property, Julie then emailed to say a completely different property is available and booked me in to view that one ????
I emailed to say that's not the one I wanted to view to which she said they're similar.
She made two viewings for both properties for some reason and didn't communicate this to me after completely ignoring my request.
Later I then find out I haven't turned up to a viewing I didn't know about.
They then had the cheek to moan about me to the buyer.
Hard work, poor communication, unorganised, unhelpful and unfriendly.
Go to Hunter French instead!

Helen, Lynn and Ollie are Perry Bishop were all just tremendous. We bought a house in Tetbury through Perry Bishop in November 2021. I have bought 6 houses in my life so far ( I am hoping this one will be my last!!) and I have never met such friendly, efficient and genuine estate agent staff.

I dont usually write reviews but I thought Perry Bishop deserve some praise for the service and value the whole team provide in Tetbury. Im a property developer and have recently started some new projects in the area and one of them has been acquired through Perry Bishop. The whole process was smooth and I was always kept up to date at each stage of acquisition. Once we completed, we kept in touch and sought advice on the finishes we are looking at for the project to best suit the market and what is needed in the locality. I would highly recommend using the team here and im sure we will do a lot more business together in the near future.

To say our time was wasted is an understatement. Calling people with good money, just to use their more than generous offer to drive the price up and discriminate against interested parties who are not cash only buyers! Not only that one of them was condescending and talked to us like we were children. They knew the interest was there and yet they tell you. "Your offer is declined!" "You're not the right buyer for the house or our clients circumstances" (this is people who already have a house mind you so why they can't help out buyers is beyond me) "It's not about the money" the agent said! And yet they turn away good money! And then if that wasn't bad enough. I am then told they didn't say that!!!
I burst into tears I was so upset. I felt like we had been discriminated against and I am heartbroken. We have never been treated so badly. And I had made it more than clear that I wanted the house in question. That is was the only one I was interested in. And they knew from the start. But it seemed to be more and more clear, that they were just waiting to say no to us. I feel humiliated and horrified. But I want to buy that house. And we wanted to establish a good relationship with the office. But we have been left to feel absolutely terrible and heartbroken, and discriminated against. Which now means that with 9 weeks left, we will most likely have nowhere to go! The agent laid it on thick about how the sale had not gone though initially and their vendor's were so heartbroken? Really? When they already have a house? How do you think I feel. As we now have nowhere to go!

I bought through Perry Bishop Tetbury and have been very impressed with their service from start to finish. I was happy with the covid-safe viewings and negotiation process, and the Sales Progression Team have been fantastic with their weekly updates and chasing solicitors to ensure my purchase progressed as quickly as possible during the pandemic.
Upon completion I received a welcome pack which was generous and well thought out and even included anti-bac wipes, hand gel, 2 coffee cups and more importantly COFFEE!

The staff at Perry Bishop went above and beyond to be helpful in the sale of my house. While my Tetbury property was empty they checked on it every week, sent me gas and electric meter readings and informed my of any post. The sale of my house was handled very professionally and with real efficiency, demonstrating excellent value for money. Everyone was a pleasure to deal with and I was regularly kept informed of any updates by both the sales progression team as well as the agents in the office. I cannot recommend them all high enough. Excellent service from the team at Perry Bishop, with particular mentions for Lynn and Helen. We were kept informed every step of the way and they were always available at the end of the phone/email, even with all of the difficulties that COVID threw in our way.... after our chain collapsed, they somehow achieved a miracle, with offer to completion in under 8 weeks in order to meet our mortgage offer deadline. I cannot recommend them enough and would not hesitate to use them again (though with any luck, we won't be leaving our "forever" home for a very very long time!)

Perry Bishop Tetbury - simply brilliant.
We had a really poor experience with the other Estate Agent in Tetbury town centre, so we moved over to Perry Bishop.
From the first meeting - before we had even agreed to sign with them - the PB team at Tetbury under the leadership of Helen Pugh have been first class.
- The initial valuation meeting at our house with Helen was professional and confidence-building, and we signed up the next day.
- The photography, narrative and presentation of our property on Rightmove was simply a class above what we had experienced previously.
- The viewings that followed were well organised, professionally carried out and feedback from every single viewing was both immediate and thorough.
Within three weeks we had offers from two proceedable buyers, and managed to achieve the full asking price for an individual property selling at an aspirational price that would not appeal to all, a rare achievement in today’s uncertain climate.
Put simply - Perry Bishop Tetbury made this happen, and we are so grateful and also impressed with their professionalism, efficiency and also compassion when it was needed.
It is true that Estate Agents do not always have the best of reputations. I can only recommend that anyone looking to buy or sell their house anywhere in this area contacts Perry Bishop in Tetbury. They are a genuinely class act and we are so pleased – and relieved - that we had the good fortune to work with them.

Pushy, deceitful (watch out, they will try and rush you to make an offer and a survey), continued to advertise the property behind our back (the for sale sign was still outside the property when we were told it was marked as STC) and we are of the belief that they gazumped us. We dealt with Paul Boden, who would promise one thing on the phone and then use ambiguous and vague language in the email. He then did a complete U-turn on what he had promised us on behalf of the vendor. We complained via their internal complaint procedure and they got back to us to say that "they had a very difficult vendor and therefore it was not their fault". Avoid them. Don't waste your time and money dealing with them. This estate agent is literally living up to the bad reputation the profession has. Save your money and use another estate agent.
Also the property was not marketed as Grade II listed (which it is), and the photos they used in the listing are from a few years ago (the property looked nothing like it did in the photos) but we tried to ignore it.
